EPIC EPISODE – AT THE DARGAH ~ with PICS =)

2 AUGUST 2010 - EPISODE 86

I am only going to focus on sharing with you all a few of my thoughts about the landmark scene at the Dargah (Nizammudin)....

1) Geet wearing white...the symbolism ... purity... Did you also notice that she wore white at the Golden Temple as well?

2) Scene at the Dargah begins with a medium shot of Geet's legs....we see Geet running towards the Dargah...she reaches there when it gets dark, strong winds are blowing symbolising a change in the air....a change in her emotions/senses...lol when I was watching this on Youtube I could actually feel the entire atmosphere because here in Sydney we had a huge storm coming through with gale force winds so I really felt like I was actually there with Geet experiencing the same =)



3) Geet remembers the last words she said to Maan before he left "aaj ke baad apka chehra bhi na dekhna"

4) "Maan Sir...ab bus teekh ho...aap kaha hai?" Geet's worried looking expressions were superb here.

5) Geet praying to God for Maan's safety and just to see his face once again...





6) Geet continually prays to Baba ji to keep Maan safe

7) The yellow thread/dhaga flys onto Geet's shoulder (I knew those strong winds had some important role to play in this hehehe)

8) "Suniye, yeh shaad aapka hai"

9) Geet's relief to see Maan stand before her while holding the dhaga, wipes away a tear....tear of joy perhaps? *eyelock* and woohoo Mahi bg music









10) Ever so softly Maan breaks the silence and says "Geet tum yaha kyun ahi?"







11) Lady asks Geet what are you doing here? The ladies line is over here. She then takes Geet away....Such a beautiful scene Maan and Geet are both holding onto the thread ever so tightly




you could really feel the intensity of them parting away from one another..

uff I as like nooooo why did the lady have to get in the way! Why not let Geet complete her sentence and then perhaps you could've taken her away ....just waited for a few more seconds....hehehe....never mind but it added more effect to the scene I guess hehehe...Geet not being able to finish what she wanted to say....

In short about the rest of the episode:

12) 'Teri Deewani' Song choice was very apt to this episode....the meaningful lyrics and soothing soundtrack

One Highlight scene of today's episode for me was when Geet was watching Maan secretly during the song sequence

No taveez sighting but we did have the dhaga ... which brought Maan and Geet together once again.

Teri Deewani sequence was remarkable!
especially the bit where Geet watches him sitting down and then Maan sees her looking at him

So spiritually and beautifully presented on screen

and then the Baba comes along and wishes there jodi to be successful....
Maan replies to the Baba "hum lokh saath me nahi"

The Baba then replies

"Allah ki marzi pe Bande chalte hain, Bande ki marzi pe Allah nahi...."

Maan asks Geet why did you come here? and leave Dadi Maa all by herself?

Geet questions herself "Yeh kaisa ehsaas hai?"

BRILLANT ACTING BY GURMEET AND DHRASTI! EXCELLENT EXPRESSIONS!

Credit also goes to the
- lighting department for the beautiful special effects
- the costumes the emphasis on White color or purity and divine
- the director for envisioning such beautiful scenes
- the scriptwriter for a beautifully crafted episode
- Dialogue writer ~ beautiful dialogues even though they were limited in this episode they left their impact
- the entire cast and crew who worked so effortlessly hard to make this episode possible

1) Geet running to the Dargah
2) The dhaga landing on Geet's shoulder
3) Geet relieved to see Maan
4) The lady taking Geet away + the Maan getting the dhaga from Geet
5) the hand touching + the Baba
6) Maan saying to Geet why did you leave Dadi Maa alone?
7) the end scene Geet questioning herself about "ehsaas"

This epi is going down in Maaneet's history with golden letters......

Thanks a ton for those pictures. Yep, a wonderful and an epic episode..

I might be the only one but the scene I liked the most was the kind of surprise, anticipation, happiness on Maan's face when he sees Geet wiping away her tears. There were so many questions in his eyes and disbelief too.... That was the best scene for me.

And the hand touching scene was so divine too.
