There is a discussion on the on FB Geet, that this news came from indya.com forums! Just like u guys say, this is utter rubbish, Gurmeet is not goin anywhere.

NO WAY MAN! if he is then he is stupid why would he leave the number one show which he worked so hard to make it number 1? and cuz of it he is so popular now.

umm...I don't think so. This information sounds completely false. Gurmeet is very attached to his work and leaving Geet...I don't think so. Just crazy rumors probably..as usual

i am pretty sure this is a baseless rumor! geet is the #1 show right now....no way he is gonna leave it...plus gurmeet seems like the kinda guy who is committed...he won't leave the show like that! he ate mirchis and dislocated his shoulder for this role! there would also b a contract...right? i don't think it would expire on the fourth month! no one else can take maan's place!

Somebody has commented on one of the spoiler pics on fb .it says that there will be an accident and gc will be replaced by a well known actor.that's why geet's realisation has been rushed and also the dialogue'mere bas main hota to main aapka chehra bhi nabob dekhti'
