I agree...I don't think that Sameera ever loved him....had she she would not have duped him so....but the question here i did he LOVE Sameera.....or was it a loveless arrangement that he agrees to??

here's mix of all the theories...

Sameera and NT are related...distant or close does not matter..NT introduced her to Daadima who then proposed marriage between Maan and Sameera. Maan not ready but bows down to Daadi's wishes...

engagement happens but soon Sameera starts showing her true colors...Maan starts going to the office more and more...more rift between the two..
she flees with someone.with Maan's money with the man..she loves..unknown to anyone..else esp NT... Maan is slighted...Daadima is hurt...NTis disgraced...
Maan now hates girls, hates NT for trying to get him married to a no good woman and keeps distance from Daaadi even tho he loves her because he does not want her match making again...

he is more involved in business...to keep himself..away..from...women..and is not difficult to do so..till our..bubbly kudi...comes along his way....
