hello everyone.

i always watched geet because i love maan and geet together and their chemistry is just haila. and uff.
butt honestly i love my parentss.. and no matter what they say or do i always keep loving themm... but geet has leffft her mom and daddd anndd she has good reasons to leave them, but is it ever right to leave ur parents? i mean the mother who kept you inside of her womb for 9 months, and the mother who endured the pain for 9 months just so that you could see the world.. would you really just leave her like that?? i mean i know it was hard for geet to leave her family.. and she does remmebr them sometiems.. but i think she remembers dev more then her familyyyyy😡 sorry devtianss butt i just hadd to lett it out..
and her father.. a father is someone who is ur supoortt , you look up to him for emotinal support and he is the one who gives you his name. HANDA.
so my question is
In any type of situation do you think running away from ur paarents is the soloution?
dont you think that if geet stood up for herself in hoshiarpur she wouldnt have to leave her parents?
share ur commmetns and thoughts..
agreess and disagree..
i love you maan. and geet
Love
Simi

Well i dont think its right to eaquate Geet's situation with any other mundane one; she had to run away not because of any trifle "Abhimaan" or so...she was on the run to save her life from her manica brother and his henchmen who were bent on tasting her blood for the sake of "Izzat"! And her family, eg., her parents , though loving their daughter fierecely, were forced to stand along and be mere bystanders.
So based on all the above phenomena, Geet was more than prudent to leave/ abandon this family.

Geet too loves her family. Every time they have been brought up (by Mann, Pinky etc) she angrily shuts the conversation down and you can see the mere mention is too painful for her. Leaving them was the toughest decision she had to make but she wasn't wrong.

In a way, she had no choice. Brij tried to KILL her for not aborting the baby and her parents to an extent did agree the baby being aborted would be the best thing for all of them. Although her dad did try and help her, he and the rest of the family let the problems escalate to the point where it did.

Maan accused her many times that she would never have the strength to stand up to her family and when she finally did, it resulted in Brij going to jail and her dadaji basically saying she had no place in the family. Again, her parents didn't say anything. They cried, were upset, screamed her name but there was no intiative or stance taken.

Why didn't they move out with Geet? They let their pregnant and only daughter leave home with no money and limited job prospects. Could you imagine what someone like Geet would grow thru if they didn't have someone like Maan in their lives? Knowing my parents they would have taken me away from such a situation much before it ever got to the point where Brij tried to kill her.

So I dont think it's fair to judge Geet's actions. Although they are her parents they're not god, they didn't protect her when she needed them the most and I think they will mend their relationship but it will take time......

On to Dev, she only recalls him because what he did can never be forgiven or forgotten. In a way we can see why her family acted the way they did. Although their reasons are pathetic, they are a product of that chauvanistic society. However, Dev could have chosen many different paths to get the money he needed. He destroyed her and she will carry a reminder of that for the rest of her life.

I think it was right on Geet's part to leave her family, including her mom and dad! I can understand where you are coming from but what Geet has faced is horrid! She definitely loved her parents but what she had to endure.....her very own family tried to kill her......and what her parents did to save her.....nothing! I agree Daarji and Brij never let anyone speak but her mom and dad did nothing except for begging and pleading and crying......Geet was the only one fighting it out.....am not saying that her parents are bad and that they don't love Geet or care for her......but they let her suffer and Geet knew that if she did not leave them she would be made to suffer her entire life......sometimes, it's just best to leave your loved ones.....you have to leave your emotions aside and move on in life......what Geet did was very practical......I really don't think that lesses her love and respect for her parents even a bit......the circumstances she was in demanded that.

it is not right to leave your family but in Geet's case its totally right! if she had no other choice but to die for no reason she did wrong or run away to live.. it was right to choose the latter

agar parents apni mistakes k lye bachon ko mar sakte hain ...to bache apni self respect k lye aur apni life k lye unhe chor sakte hain
