I don't want Geet to abort the child just because it's Dev's and it'll create problem for her and Maan. to me Maan needs to accept her with all her problems and short comings. yes, there will be problem and confusions due to the childbut eventually their bond will only strengthen because then Geet will know that maan loves her no matter what. but if she aborts the child to be accepted by Maan, she will fall in her self-esteem and I don't think Maan would be able to respect her as much as he would if she fight the world with the child and for the child.And most importantly she loves the child, she has endured a lot for it, all those would be pointless if she decides to abort it now
(absolutely my POV, no intention to hurt anyone)

I am strongly against abortion.It is a form of murder.The baby may not have come into the world physically but he is also a part of this world.Killing this innocent is the same as killing any person.

Geet has accepted the child.She loves the child very much.Can't you see the love for her child in her eyes.Her every step is for her child's well-being.Nobody forced Geet to give birth to the child.She herself taken the desicion.Even her family wanted her to abort the child but she went against them.She left her mom-dad only for this child.She is so much attached with the child.Then how could you think of aborting the child?I don't know what will hapen to Geet in future.But I don't want her to face miscarriage.She will be totally devastated if she looses her child.She have faced a lot.I don't want her to loose her child also.The child is Geet's reason to live,to laugh,to love.

I know ultimately the choice of having a baby lies with the mother. But I hate it when people say you are not supposed to abort a child under any circumstance even if the situation is that of like Geet or that of rape. In Sasural Genda Phool there is a situation where radha bua is not able to look at the face of her child because he reminds her of her rapist. Why did she go through with the pregnency if she couldn't face the consequences. She should have either aborted her pregnency or should have given up the child for adoption. Why make yourselves suffer?

I don't want Geet to miscarry. A miscarriage is an accident which happens when you are least prepared for it. It hurts you physically as well as mentally. Nobody has to go through with it.

This topic reminds me of a House M.D. episode in season 3 where a rape victim who is pregnent interacts with House and in the end he convinces her to abort the baby.

I think Geet's situation is different from Radha bua from SGP. Geet loves her child. she considers it her only support where radha bua never even accepted her son. I personally don't like abortion because I believe you can't take away what you can't give back. but for a rape victim or Geet's situation it's acceptable ONLY IF she doesn't want the child, not for a new life or society pressure

What I meant was a girl should have a choice to decide whether she wants to live with a constant remainder of a very bad experience she has gone through or not. I know that abortion is not something we should take lightly. But if Geet was my child who was 18 and had to go through a very bad experience like this I would give her options and would let her take a conscious decision whether to keep the baby or not. Or to give birth to the baby and give it away. Not for others, not for society but for herself and her future.

When I said miscarriage causes physical and mental hurt I meant that when you decide to do an abortion you do it before you get attached to the life growing in you. Where as when miscarriage happens you have decided to have the baby and then it is taken away from you. So I personally feel it hurts more.

Geet in this show will never do anything of that sort because of the upbringing she has got. I said all of the above in general context.

To every one who has reacted to my post - Please note that what I have said above is in a general context when a girl faces a very bad experience and a baby is conceived because of that.

As all of you have said Geet is already attached with her child and she has decided by herself to keep the baby. So the situation is different here.

All I am saying is a woman should have a choice to decide for herself what is best for her future. As a personal opinion I don't think anyone has to go through her all life with a constant remainder of all the wrong that has happened to her.

"IF" Maan would've spotted dev, he'd just stop the marriage and leave. No one would try to kill Geet and force her to go to Delhi.

In short, no Maaneet.

That's why and to get the TRP's creatives had to have some mysterious parts in the serials.

What had to happen has already happened yaar. And its worked very well for the show. I think the CVs are doing a gr8 job and I know they wont disappoint us. Im sure we have lots of Drama ahead to keep us and (at the same time our families) hooked on to this amazing show.👍🏼

P.S. Geet should not abort the child at any cost. Lest in any case it threatens her own life.😳
