hey guys!!

Okay..this will be a short update..and a pretty impossible one..but well..here it is..

They eat in silence and then, Geet goes to sleep, while Maan decides to catch up with his work

He tucks her in and kisses her goodnight on the forehead, while she goes to sleep.

Geet holds his hand to stop him from going

Geet- MAan..I'm...

Maan- shh..Geet..

He bends down and cups her face, brushes aside her stray hair and says

Maan- tumhe kuchh kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai. I will make you believe in love.
Don't worry at all..please..this trip was for you and for you it will remain

Geet nods sleepily..MAan's voice..his warm rich deep baritone always made her a little drowsy..and she slept off

Maan smiled at her
MAan- Paagal..

HE works for sometime, makes his calls and checks his emails etc etc- cancels all his appointments for some more days..so that he can concentrate on Geet..not that it ever wavered from there much...

He comes back at around 2 am...and then lies down next to her and goes to sleep..

Geet was dreaming - some random dream to an exotic location somewhere..there was a beach and there was Dadi , there was herself and Maan and Maan had a little girl on his shoulders..

Everyone was very happy,

MAan put the girl down and said he was taking her off to get ice-cream, but she wanted Dadi to come along, and Geet didn't but she knew instinctively that the girl was MAan's princess and he would always do what she wanted..

Geet- you're such a spoilt brat Mehek..papa ne bigaad diya hai aapko

MAan- Hm...Papa ne sirf Mehek ko bigaada hai kya? Bolo...?

Geet blushes while Mehek and Maan hi-five each other..

Geet- aap dono se nahi jeet sakti..uff..
c'mon let's go..

Suddenly, the scene changed..(happened as soon as Maan went to sleep)

It was abrightly lit space..perhaps a room..but it was open..very huge...
And there was a little girl, wearing a purple frock

She came near Geet and started speaking

MEhek- Mama, I'm Mehek..pehechaana mujhe?

Geet- par..tum...

she started crying, bent down and kissed her...

Mehek wiped Geet's tears and said

MEhek- mama..please don't cry. As you can see, I'm very well.
Mom, please don't be sad. My entire purpose was to get a loved one near you..papa- my real papa- Maan Singh Khurana.
Mama, you were hurt by everyone- except him. I had to hurt both of you so that you could turn to each other, trust each other and heal together from your painful pasts.
I'm not your kid- I'm Mehek- I'm the scent of the universe..I'm a soul. This is my reality Mom..I don't belong with you..not yet..But I will come..I will come back to you because you love me so much.

Love is not to be divided- it is indivisible. You love me, you love papa- that's it..Who says love has to be divided?
You can love both of us- you do love both of us

I will come back to you mom..but only if you let yourself feel love..feel love for the man who loves you so much..try him mom..he's worth taking the risk.

I love you mom..and he does too.. We all love each other- we're a family..and we will always be- time and space has nothing to do with that
she kissed Geet on both cheeks and..

Geet woke up..as did Maan

They looked at each other- tears in both pairs of eyes..as they searched the others'

Geet- Maan...

MAan- Geet..

She hugged him tight and he held on too for dear life..hearts thumping like they would just jump out while both had an image of a radiant girl smiling widely at them

Geet hid herself in Maan's chest..

Geet- babaji...yeh kya ho raha hai

MAan- Geet..don't worry..sab thik hai..
while he wondered the same thing


That's it..sorry if you found it too boring..but I felt like writing about it..
