okay..so here i am with an update...Reading a very intense novel..made me cry soo much...
anyways..
Maan went out of the room...pretty much banged the door and went to meet Dadi.
Dadi- Arre MAan..Aap? Kya hua?
Maan- Woh..kuchh nahi?aap kaisi hain?
Dadi- hum toh thik hain par aapke hosh kyun ude hue hain?
Geet se jhagda hua hai?
MAan thinking of what happened just a couple of minutes ago blushes and cannot keep a shy smile from his face
Dadi comes to him while he is lost in his thoughts, and pulls his cheeks..
Dadi- arre waah...aaj mere pote..itni pyaari si muskaan de rahe hain..What is it?
MAan- Dadima please..Nothing is the matter..It's just that, I wanted to meet you before leaving because kal raat ko nahi mila. now, I will go to Vicky..
Dadi- Hm..Vicky so rahe honge..
Maan- It's okay..
He leaves, goes to Vicky's room, to see Geet there, trying to wake him up
Geet- VIcky..Utho utho...Vicky!!! uff...KAise sota hai..haathi ghode bech kar
Vicky KHurana, wake up!!
She decides she's going to wake him up with water.
Maan is a witness to all this and is feeling extremely angry..
Maan- Why should I feel bad if she's bonding with my brother? Vicky is a good boy, then why am I not pleased?
Yeh Geet bhi na..uff..
He enters the room unnoticed by Geet whose efforts are concentrated on waking up Vicky..
He sneaks up behind her, and puts his hand on her shoulder...She has a bottle of cold water in her hand, opened and ready to be aimed at the poor sleeping victim and then..
Geet- AAAAGH!!!!
She jumps, heart beating wildly, she turns around and bumps into MAan, cool water on his chest and he jumps too..
MAan- GEET...PAagal ho gaya...
Geet- oh..s-s-sorry Maan..you uhm..scared me...wait let me wipe it off..
She puts her hands on his shirt ,opens three buttons at quick speed and uses her dupatta to wipe the water that has seeped in..
Maan is feeling butterflies and what not at her soft touch...but that water..wow, that was so cold.
He stops her hands near his heart. she looks up into his eyes
Maan- Geet..Do you have any idea what you do to me?
Geet is just staring at him..lost in his eyes and he moves closer...she moves closer too..Maan is about to bring his lips to hers when..
Vicky- Bhabhi? Bhai? aap log yahan?
MAan thinks- ullu da patha..He had to get up now!?
They jump apart from each other and Geet, recovering says
Geet- haan..woh, Vicky..How deep do you sleep..?? You don't get up with anything..so..
She looks at Maan,
MAan- uh..so she called me to help her wake you up..
Vicky was really confused and gave them both a you're-weird expression
He crossed his arms over his chest and looked from one to another..
Vicky- hmm..So, why did you want to wake me up?
Maan- woh..uh..I wanted you to come with me to the office
Vicky- KYA? but bhai, that day you said I was too young...
Maan- so..MAan Singh Khurana can change his mind..
Vicky( murmured)-hmm..kab se pata nahi? lagta hai Bhabhs ne bro ko change kar diya hai
Maan- what did you say?
Vicky um..nothing bro..I will go get ready..
Geet was glaring at MAan...
As vicky left to go to the bathroom, he heard them bicker
Geet- I wanted to spend the day with him..why are you taking him to office?
Maan- he's my brother!
Geet- MAan..seriously..stop acting like a kid..i won't steal him away from you..
MAan suddenly put his arms around her and pulled her close..
Maan- but what if he steals you away from me?
Geet- MAan..chhodiye mujhe..yeh aapke chhote bhai ka room hai and aap ho ki..
MAan- Tum mujhe rokogi?
Geet- Nahi MAan...Aapki marzi hai jo karna hia kijiye...Par pane aap ko rokungi?
MAan- achha...
he moves closer, leading Geet to tremble at his nearness..
Geet- dekhte hain..kab tak Mrs Khurana...we'll see till when..
HE releases her and calls out to Vicky..
Maan- Vicky! See you in office in an hour!
Vicky- ji bro!
He winks at Geet and leaves
Geet- uff!! Geet..stop it! stop thinking about it..You have to win this challenge...hmph..let's see who wins..
Maan at office-
Maan on phone was giving a dictation to Tasha..speaking carefully after that day's fiasco
MAan- Tum sab thik se likh rahi ho na?
Tasha- jee sir..
Maan- toh you must have realised that I stoppped speaking about 5 minutes ago!!
What have you written..??
Tasha- jee Sir..woh main...
Maan getting really angry snatches the notepad from her and sees what she has doodled
MAan- 😡 TASHA! Tum office yeh karne aati ho??
You like to write obscene things about your BOSS...who is might I remind you married to someone??!!
Tasha- woh..sir..woh...
MAan- GET OUT!! 😡
So angry, Tasha gets really scared and runs out...
Maan throws the notepad on the door she has just closed..
Fuming...he tries to control his anger...
Maan makes a call
MAan- Geet...Please can you come here..
Geet notices the urgency in Maan's voice and says okay..
She reaches and walks in the door to find Maan sitting in his cabin with his hands on his head..
MAan- Geet..
and then he puts his head down
Geet- kya hua? Maan...aap thik toh hain?Work mein problem?
MAan- Nahi..
He gestures to the notepad which Geet picks up from the floor and reads..
It is a doodle of Maan- with Tasha and Sasha on either side, and a shabbily dressed Geet with an ugly face falling..
Geet puts it down, and goes towards MAan..
She gently raises his head and cupping his face with her hands says
Geet- Maan..idhar dekhiye..Aap..MAan Singh Khurana ho.. And being seen with these two girls..is this what's troubling you?
Maan looks deep into her soulful eyes, his own reflecting deep passion
Maan- Geet..I don't care about that when you're in trouble. You are falling..And I'm not even paying attention..I'm instead with those two...Any two girls...
He puts his hands on hers as he releases his face from her hold and then..gets up.
Geet unable to bear the intensity of his eyes, just turns away to hide her tears..she feels a tug at her dupatta and turns slowly
Maan on the floor
He holds both his hands, and kisses her fingers one by one, never breaking eye-contact.
Maan- Geet..you taught me how to live. I wish I could tell you exactly how grateful I am, but it's not possible to explain. It's like when our feet suddenly come back to life and we feel pins and needles. You made my heart come alive, and now, it's hopelessly intertwined with yours..
He gets up, moves closer to her, and seems like he's going to kiss her.
she moves closer and then he pulls away and says
Maan- Geet..YOu win..I will always lose with you. Every challenge, you have anyways won from me. I am unable to win in the face of your determination. Since you have come into my life- each loss has seemed like victory, I feel happy when you are..I feel like crying seeing you in pain and tears.
Take all the time in the world..I will still be here.
Saying that, Geet pulls him closer and kisses him- a kiss that leaves him breathing hard and hungry for more.
She hugs him and whispers into his chest
Geet- MAan Singh Khurana...aap mujhe paagal kar doge..
And then she leaves the office, leaving him pretty stunned...
