And that hotel manager.......gimme a break..i can understand if a woman would comment on anyone's clothing..as you'l find many so called modern gals who like to comment..but a man seriously..as far as i know men are least considered the class of clothes the opposite sex is wearing!

i was jus about to mention that lol....they do show that in a lot of shows though...not just geet

I agree, it was a little zyaada, I mean office mein lots of people wear suits yaar (except Sasha of course, who comes straight from her clubbing clothes to work, now someone like this in real life would definitely get the wrong kind of attention at work for sure atleast in the US, ab India ke baaren main humen kya pataa). But the theme is kinda true in nouve riche audiences of urban india who have had the wrong exposure to western culture. India has sadly gotten psuedo recently.
Last time I was on vacation in India and it was so unbelievable how much one got judged by how they dressed, looked, spoke. Everyone would speak only in fakely accented English, hindi was like hai tauba.
And everyone wanted to go eat italian or mexican or something. I mean for someone like me vacationing in India, fresh yummy desi khaane ke liye taras taras ke kaun continetal khayega yaar.
And non branded clothes were like "Huh, you dont carry and LV purse " I was like no- I spend the money flying out to meet fake people like you! ... goodness a complete shocker.
Disclaimer: Not everyone though.... but many incidents on my trip told me lots of indian kids today are a little confused and portray/believe everyday Indian clothes, baatcheet, khaana is not cool.

@Goldie - totally agree with ur viewpoint. Haven't visited india in 3 years...didn't realize office attire has changed so much that u wear prom clothes on a daily basis...eh Sasha 😆. Luv'd Geet's salwar...very elegant n chic. Mein hoti toh us manager ko apne hoshiarpurwale jutoon se samjhati 😆,,,, or better yet, usay rajma-daal khilati.... I think CVs just forgot to mention to Geet via Maan that this was a black-tie affair....then apni Geet would have attended in a fab black n gold/silver outfit....phir hum dekhtey MSK ka dil aur bhi dhak-dhak kartey ! 🤣

exactly the reason for CVs doing this....to show the knight in shining armour come to the damsel is distress and rescue her...

I thoroughly enjoyed him stand up for her....but they can try sumthing diff....apart from constant jabs on class...and clothes!!!

let me tell u one thing boys came in support of that women and made those modern dressed girls shut up by using desi language
really these r happening now a days and so the cvs r showing these incidents and so i love to watch geet serial as its roots stick to reality

really?thats sick!
hmm..now come to think of it..i remember once i was wearing salwar kameez in a mall..and the salesgal was giving me a weird look and she was actually checking me up and down.😡.it was soo irritating..!..i gave her a cold stare and she immediately got scared!😆....
ok yes its true that it does happen but like i sed in my previous post..i havent seen anyone taunt like this yaar!..that too in a 5star hotel..i mean cmon u'l see rani mukherjee and preity wearing salwar kameez.....but i bet no one will say anything to them na...😲.....but who am i kidding...dont most gals wear western clothes now(...including me lol..😆).but..i actually admire the gals who only wear indian clothes...😳..
and wat hppnd in geets case was unrealistic..it does not hppn....i might accept the sari fiasco..but this is a big no no...

All the dikhawa, western clothes, streaked hair , italian khaana didnt even matter to Maan...he is in love with the desi, pure & innocent, frank, simple, indian girl who looks gorgeous in a sari/salwar..and rightly so..

so lets take that as the message of today's episode..clothes dont make a person...and the manager who thought it did..got a bashing at the end..

I agree Eve...that was a stupid scene.....so all influential families only dress in western style...I think NOT!!! We are DESI, we eat DESI, we dress DESI, We talk DESI, and most importantly...we THINK DESI.....and DAMN proud of it too!!!!😡😆😛
