you worte 2 very fabulous updates!! they were awesome👏👏👏 ... aww i thought geetz jealousy towards the secretary was adorable and all the maan geet moments were just awesome!! i love how maan is apprehensive to show his feelings physically towards geet b/ c of how she reacted last time but everytime geet hugs or something..he like heisitates for a seconds but hugs her anyway its just too adorable!! and the maan protectivnes is soo sweet towards geet!! and oh god i'm worried bout naintara argh i wonder wat evil plan she has thought of ... 😕 .. well i can't wait to read the next update and find out 👍🏼

Part 21

Mr. and Mrs. Khurana were back at the office. With an eventful weekend behind them, they prepared for a new project. Khurana Constructions had just received a new deal on making a resort in Goa. This meant that Maan would have to go to Goa to look at the property for the resort. He didn't want to leave Geet alone, while Dev and Naintara were free. This would be a good excuse to go away for a few days with Geet. Except he wasn't sure if she would be able to travel in her condition.

"Geet, I have to go to Goa for a few days for the new project. Your coming with me.", Maan informed her.

"Goa? I can't wait! When are we going?", Geet asked.

"On Wednesday. But first I have to call your doctor and find out if you can go."

Geet frowned, "Okay."

Maan smiled. He was glad she wanted to go as bad as him. When Geet was alone in her office. A thought just came to her. If she went to Goa with Maan, it meant that both of them would be alone, and together, in one room. "Oye ghadhi, yeh pheli kyun nahi sochi. Tune Goa jane ki liye haan kyun kahan. Aab tu hi pastaye gi. Hai babaji, Maan aur main akela, mere raksha karna.", she said to herself. Geet knew it would be harder for her to stay away from Maan if they were alone. She still wasn't ready to take their relationship to the next level. It would be better to take small steps.

During a conference, Maan assigned the staff work for the Goa project.

"Sasha, I want you to do research for this project. I will do the design myself and you will assist me, after I see the property.", Maan said.

"Yes MK.", Sasha replied.

"Adi, you've already received the budget files, so you can begin organizing the costs.", Maan ordered. Adi nodded in response.

"Geet, you will help he come up with the design ideas. The rest of you will do what your job requires, after Geet and I are back from Goa. Is that understood?"

"Yes sir.", Everyone said at once.

"You may all go now.", Maan said.

Everyone got up to leave. Geet was in the hallway. Maan was still in the conference room looking through some files. Sasha cornered Geet.

"So'ma'am", she said sadistically. "I never got to congratulate you on your new marriage and job."

"Thank you, Sasha.", Geet wanted to avoid talking to her.

"There's no need to thank me. In fact I wanted you to teach me how I could be more like you. I mean you just have MK in the palm of your hands. I wish I knew how to manipulate people, the way you do.", Sasha voiced with a wicked smile.

"Excuse me? You have no idea what you're talking about. So I suggest you don't say anything about it."

"Oh come one now. Don't be selfish. Tell me how you did it."

"Your crossing you limits, Sasha."

"No, you crossed your limits by marrying MK. How can a down market girl like you, marry a high class man like MK? What did you do Geet? Did you tell MK that the baby your carrying is his, to get him to marry you?"

"No, I didn't. I don't have to answer to you. What ever happened is between Maan and I. What did you think Sasha? If Maan didn't marry me, he would have fallen for you instead? Well, you've got it wrong. Maan would never love someone like you. Now you listen carefully, Maan is my husband and he loves me, So stay away from him. Got that?", Geet snapped back.

Sasha stared at Geet dumfounded. How dare this behenji talk down to her? She was fuming over Geet's retort. Then she saw MK come out the conference hall. She relaxed her face. He came up to them, feeling the tension between the women.

"What's going on?", he inquired.

"Oh nothing, I was just congratulating ma'am on your marriage.", Sasha said with a fake smile and emphasizing the word ma'am with attitude.

"Oh okay, thanks.", Maan looked at Geet to see that she was upset. "Geet can I talk to you please? Sasha I will see you later", he said.

They walked away. Sasha watched them leave with misery. She hated that Geet so much. But from now on she would have to be careful what to say. She didn't want to be on MK's bad side.

When Maan and Geet were alone in his office, he asked, "Geet are you upset about something?"

"No, I'm fine.", Geet said without looking at him.

"I know your upset. Tell me what's wrong."

"I told you its nothing. I need to get back to work.", With that she walked out of the room.

It bothered him to see her in distress. But he didn't want to aggravate her by forcing her to tell him what was wrong. Why couldn't women just be straight forward and say how they felt? They always made things complicated.

That day when they got home, Geet was still cranky. Maan told her to start packing for Goa, and she said she would, when she felt like it.

"Geet, can you please tell me what's bothering you? Did I do something?"

"No, It has nothing to do with you. You think the world only revolves around you?", Geet said in annoyance.

"No, but you acting grumpy does affect me. There's no need for you to yell.", Maan said trying to remain calm.

"Okay, I'm sorry.", She said sitting on the bed.

"So what's bothering you?", Maan repeated sitting next to her.

"Well people at work are beginning to question about the baby and all. They think that I told you the baby is yours so you would marry me.", Geet grimaced.

"Who told you this?", Maan clenched his jaw.

"I heard people talking at work.", Geet lied.

"I don't want you to worry about this. Just let it go. I'll handle it.", He said putting a hand on her shoulder.

Geet gave him a weak smile. Maan always made her feel better.

"Oh by the way, what did the doctor say about me going to Goa?", she questioned, half hoping the doctor said no.

"Obviously the doctor said yes, since I told you to pack."

"Oh'", she said.

"You don't seem to happy about it.", Maan said raising an eyebrow.

"No'I am.", Geet expressed dubiously.

Maan looked unconvinced, "If you don't want to go, just tell me."

"I do want to go.", Geet said truthfully. But she couldn't tell him she was nervous about them being alone. Of course they spent the everyday together. But this was different. There would be no staff or Dadima around. Just the two of them in a hotel room. The idea was both alluring and nerve-racking.

The next morning at the office, Maan called the entire staff to make an announcement.

"As you all know, Geet and I are married. I know there has been a lot of speculation behind our marriage, but let me inform all of you that it is none of your business. You know very well that I don't tolerate gossip. You are all here to do the job I pay you for. So stick to that. I don't want any non-sense in my office. I hope that everyone understands me perfectly.", Maan declared.

Everyone got back to their desk. Geet didn't expect Maan to make an announcement in front of the whole staff like that. Everything he did always had to be bold. But he did it for her. Oh God'she loved him so much.

On Wednesday morning they were on the flight to Goa. Geet had felt nauseas on the plane. The entire flight she closed her eyes and didn't talk at all. Maan shook his head. When they got off the plane, Geet let out a sigh of relief.

They arrived at the hotel. They got the presidential suite, with an amazing view of the beach. Geet seemed on edge since they had arrived.

"Are you okay?", Maan inquired.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?", Geet said timidly.

"You look nervous."

"Nervous? No I'm not nervous.", Geet told him falsely.

"If you say so.", Maan replied. "Well, we're going to see the project site today. Then we have two days to relax."

Geet smiled at him. Then began unpacking their things. Maan watched her to this at a lighting speed. He raised an eyebrow. What was up with her? She was probably just being her weird self. He gave up trying to figure her out and changed his clothes.

They spent the rest of the day on the project site. Maan inspected the site thoroughly and took down all the information he needed to do the designs. Geet just followed him around and was bored. The sun was burning hot. By the end of the day she was so exhausted that she fell a sleep as soon as they got back to the suite.

The next day they spent the day out in the beach. Geet loved the beach. She dipped her foot in the water and enjoyed the view. Maan watched her play around in the water. She was so beautiful. He curly hair blew with the wind. There was a peaceful smile on her face. Her skin was glowing with he sunlight. He wanted to pick her up in his arms and kiss her. But of course, he couldn't.

That night when they were in their room. Geer put on her night dress and was getting ready to go to bed. She wore a long, silk night gown. It was black and had short lacey sleeves. She had never wore this before. Maan gawked at her, when she came out of the bathroom wearing it. The silk stuck to every bit of her curves. Her body was thin, except for the bump that stuck out in her mid section. He let out a deep breath and tried to control the urge to carry her to the bed and show her how much he loved her. She went up to the mirror and began brushing her hair. With every stroke she took with the hair brush, he became more restless.

Then with out thinking he went up to her and stood behind her. Geet looked at him through the mirror. She could see a strong emotion in his eyes. He put her hands around her waist and pulled her close to him. Geet's heart began to beat fast. He moved her hair away from her shoulder and kissed her on the neck. Geet closed her eyes at the touch of his lips. She dropped the brush in her hand and rested it on his hands, which were on her stomach. Maan took in the fragrance of her body. He could feel the heat radiating from her. She turned around and looked in to his eyes. She was consumed by the fire that burned in them. He drew her so close so their bodies were touching. She put her hands on his bare chest and felt the firm muscles. He brought his lips down to hers and kissed her. She ran a hand down his smooth chest. Geet wrapped her arms around his neck and held him tight. She felt Maan begin to unzip her night gown in the back. She opened her eyes and moved her lips away from his.

"Maan'I'I'm not ready.", She whispered breathlessly.

"I'm sorry.", He said zipping her gown again and looking away.

"Its okay.", Geet told him. Her cheeks turned red.

They both awkwardly moved away from each other. Maan cleared his throat.

"Maybe we should just go to sleep.", he said huskily.

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea.", Geet agreed uncomfortably.

They both went to bed, staying as far from each other as possible. Their hearts were still beating uncontrollably. Though they wanted to be back in each others arms, but they couldn't.

With the day they had left in Goa, they spent touring the city. They enjoyed the day together. The awkwardness of the night had lifted and they were back to their usual selves. The next morning they got on the plane to go home, unaware of the peril that anticipated their arrival.
