Dadi's charecter will become negative - Page 2

no i dnt agree...she likes maan more than dev coz in her interview also she mentioned that she likes Maan as he is ditto like her...strong, stubborn,stylish n has gr8 atititude...so she is close to Maan than dev...she also admires the way Maan leads his life...than Dev...she only wants her family to be united...

its very difficult to comment on y dadi threw out maan out of the house...i think there were sentimental issues....and maan being the egoistic one may hv been hurt in one way or the other....maybe NT was the issue...
and maan being the eldest dadi may hv thot that he wud be the one who wud compromise with everything....but i guess maan refused to adjust with some decisions made by nani and thatz y he himself left or else nani asked him to leave.
but, we know that nani asked him once that if he was so angry then y did he not leave completely and y is he staying in outhouse and maan did not reply to that.
i guess maan and dadi love and respect each other more than the others....thatz y maan just stays the nights in outhouse....otherwise he has all his meals with nani in the house.
i dont think dadi will ever become negative....this character is very strong emotionally....and i think she has certain weakness for maan...this is because i think dadi thinks maan is the one who felt betrayed wen his dad got married to dev's mom and then later on dev married NT who we r guessing is former lover of maan.

dadi has one particular goal in life and that is to see all his grandchildren staying tog under one roof....i guess this is normal dream of any grandmom and for that he is requesting maan to bring his brothers tog...this is also normal because the elderly ppl of a family generally gives responsibility to the eldest son/daughter to correct everything that is wrong.

exactly! this has an essence of Sidney Sheldon's "master of the game" where Kate Blackwell, the powerful empire builder matriarch has 2 granddaughters - Eve and Alexandra. she loves both equally and dotes on them but for diff.reasons. alexandra is kind and humane so kate wants her to take care of their empire's charitable trusts n all...whereas she sees exactly herself in eve...strong, stubborn, powerful and outgoing which is why she wants eve to be the direct heiress. kate loves them both but esp trusts eve...just like the relation between maan n dadi.
only this much is similar...the rest of the story is way alag! where kate finally ends up disowning eve, because eve is basically a black character in the book!

ahem so now to the topic.....i dunno abt being negative but i do expect maan as well as dadi to misunderstand geet..but am absolute positive that once both of them comes to know the truth abt kaali billi 🤢then they will support geet..It also came in an interview that Dadi will support geet !..And dadi already likes geet...so its a plus point for us!..And i bet Dadi would not want her khaandan ka chiraag 🤢to go away!

which means maan is not black...eve is! they are DIFFERENT stories! only a slight essence of the kate-eve relation [ before the disowning fiasco...phew!] is like maan and dadi's! God!!!

well ithan i m naive 😆 but i dont think dadi wd turn evil or anything ... i mean look at the way she views geet ... she actually likes geet and remember the way she ignored sasha? she is not impressed by clothing .. or polished attitude ... or anything of the image that sasha projects .... so far she hasnt shown any streaks of pride ... she is self-confident yes ... and very assertive but not to the point of being selfish or arrogant ...

her history with maan is definitely complex and i think it has more to do with different views of how to handle whatever dev did ... i guess dadi was in favor of punishing dev but felt that throwing him out of the house wd be a bit much .. and maan disagreed ... who knows but she clearly loves maan .. it is seen thru her desire for maan to return to that haveli ... the way she wants maan to marry but she is looking for someone who wd actually suit maan and not a blue blooded heiress ... and the fact that for maan she wouldnt mind a small town .. may be middle class gurl .... as she said "khandaan" doesnt count here ....and her teasing maan abt geet clearly reveal her affection ... finally maan himself shows alot of affection for his dadi ma and clearly has a high regard for her ... would he have done that if he had at any point felt that his dadi was biased or unfair?

as for her liking NT .. she hasnt seen her real face has she? with dev she knows he is a charmer ... she is smart enuf to realize that but than again he has also been careful around her which is y she hasnt seen his true colors either ....ultimately the dadi ma here is a strong character ... normally with shows they tend do associate strength of mind and stubborness with vamps but they havent done it here ... so i dont believe dadi is -ive ... i think she will support geet rather than NT or Dev when the full truth comes out
