I am still dreaming of tomorrow/dance sequence to come and another party scene comes to mind besides the dance...of them being alone and close..and almost kiss...
after the dance sequence
Geet goes to check on food everything is fine and then slips out to the veranda..for a moment to ponder on what just happened on the dance floor
Why did Maan ask me to dance? Woh itna gussa kyon karte hai?
Woh jab chooteh hain to ye kya hota hai mujhe..? why do i forget where i am?
while she is thinking this, Maan comes out and sees Geet
She gives a small smile and looks away towards the moon (which is ofcourse a bewitching full moon)
Maan is again dumbstruck to see her beauty which he had not noticed they way he did today..she looked ethereal in white bathed in moonlight a paari...
he gives a shake to his head and walks to her...
for a change he tells her...the party looks to be going well...you seem to have done..something..well for once... it is well organised.
Mr chopra seems impressed...(i wont say i am he says in his mind)
bas party mein koi galti nahi honi chahiye ab
and Geet gets mad..
Sir aap hamesha aisa kyon sochte hain ki mein sab galat karti hoon. i do everything to the best of my ablilities. you dont have much faith in me..then why give the project to me..kyon?
Maan gets mad...meine ek baar keh diya so keh diya..you will do the project and you will not give me any reason to...(and steps closer to her) she steps back and back into the wall. he still steps closer and she goes into the wall.
Maan keeps staring at her without completing the sentence...and leans closer..looking deep into her eyes lost...feeling her breath on his face looks at her lips and then her eyes..and sees she is staring right back at him..he is even more mesmerised and leans very close to her lips.. and raises his hands to touch her face and move the billowing hair and run his hand in them...he touches her face and brings lips near hers... Geet says Maan in a strangled voice and closes her eyes... just as he was going to kiss her...
there is Thud sound from behind in the hall... and he breaks apart as if a spell is broken...
he turns to see what has happens and Geet slips out from there...
