So, we all know Maan's daadi has been introduced yesterday, and I'm so glad with the way her character has been put forth.
As soon as I heard of a grandma, a mushy, old, pooja types old woman came into my head who would bore the hell out of us with all the bhashans, but wow!!
I'm really pleased that the lady has some class, intelligence (was shown checking out company's profits on a laptop😉), and is headstrong!
She's a woman who values and loves her family, yet was a career woman in her old days, knows good from bad, doesn't believe in unnecessary bhashans, is not evil, and knows the difference between right and wrong (since she believed what Dev had done in the past was wrong)!
I'm so glad we have such strong characterizations in this show, and not stereotypical ones!
From Pinky's dad to Munshi ji to Maan to Geet to Dev to Daadi to Brij to Naintara to Adi, I can't find a single character who's not enjoyable to watch as a viewer😛
And I think the new promo might be somewhat misleading, I seriously doubt that Maan and Geet will fall in love before Dev returns,unless there's a high point in their love story coming up. Maybe the promo was symbolic or something just like the Dev-Geet wedding night one which wasn't how things actually progressed! But one thing is for sure, I'm glad Maan-Geet are coming closer😳, its a treat for us fans!
Also, I noticed, how Maan has no one to really talk to, even though obviously he does love his family, he's still a very lonely man, who has really set himself apart even from his family to some level😕, which makes me feel he is equally vulnerable emotinally as Geet is😳
So Maan-Geet complete each other in the true sense, since Maan's bitterness and sarcasm is eventually forcing Geet to come out strong and independent, and at the same time Geet's chirpiness will eventually get to Maan and bring him out from his reserved and serious nature. Awww, that's soo adorable, MaanEet rock😍
