I realized that they took your Geet's hair caught in Maan's shirt idea for today's epi. And the precap shows Dadi bonding well Geet (recall my updated confrontation scene!).

You thinking what I'm thinking???😲

A scene that comes to mind:

Maaneet are married, but there's a lot of tension and awkwardness. Other than that, Geet has proven to be a perfect bahu, and everyone adores her. She always however thinks that Maan just married her out of duty, and compromised his whole life for her.

Maaneet would act as a normal couple to the outside world, but no one knew that Maan always slept on the sofa-bed and Geet would sleep on the bed. Little did Geet ever realize that Maan had not actually quite just married her out of duty. He had always cared for her. She was the only girl who was capable of making him lose his concentration. She was the one who would make him forget himself even. She was the one whom he loved. And after knowing her full truth, Maan's love and respect for her simply knew no bounds. He wanted to do everything in his power to protect her. Dadi had understood Maan's feelings, and she was the one who had Geet agree to marriage. Geet initially did not want to proceed as she felt that Maan would never be happy being married to her. However, with Dadi's persistant emotional blacking, Geet finally relented and became the eldest Khurana bahu.

Maan understood that it would take time for Geet to accept his love, but he was willing to wait till eternity for her acceptance as long as in every life she would be his humsafar.😳

However, it wasn't that Geet didn't care for him. Apart from having the utmost respect for him, she did appreciate his caring nature. She had come to realize that behind his tough exterior, lay a soft tender Maan whom only a few people would catch a glimpse of. Sometimes she wished that Dev had never come in her life; it was always her past that made it difficult to accept her present and future. Though she had slowly started harboring feelings for Maan which went beyond the normal respect type, she dared not display them.

Geet had decided to work at Khurana's once a week as VP of Marketing. Otherwise, she would devote a few hours of her time working from home. Dadimaa also had supported her in this decision. Today was one of those office days where she would accompany Maan. It was funny now, how the same Sasha who once tried to make her life miserable was now buttering upto her.

Sasha plastering a smile-"Good Morning Geet"

Before Geet could reply, Tasha came with coffee for Geet-"Coffee Geet".

Geet politely refusing the coffee recalling the coffee incident she had with Maan in her initial working days. She entered Maan's cabin. It was completely changed as now it housed her desk along with that of Maan's. Futhermore Maan had the glass doors and partition changed to tinted glass. Behind her, came Maan.

Maan-"Geet, aaj kuch architectural designs ki meeting hai meri. Agar tum aana chaho toh achha rahega. Ho sake tumhe enhacements ya koi tips dene ho. Par uske pehle mujhe kuch finance related cheezen Adi se discuss karni hogi. Toh phir main uske baad tumse milta hoon". Saying this Maan gave a small grin to Geet and took his leave.

An hour later:

As Geet was working, she needed some official company paperhead, so she went to see if Maan had any in his desk. As Geet looked through the drawers she found her taveez. Geet was shocked seeing it there. Geet thinking to herself-'Maan ke paas yeh taveez?' And she got the flashback of when she got the taveez telling her about her humsafar left Geet wondering and recalling all the times Maan had saved her. Just then Maan came, and was suprised to see Geet going through his drawers-"Geet ?"

Geet-"Ji Sir main kuch paperhead dhund rahi thi"

Maan smirking-"Geet, ab agar meri biwi mujhe Sir kehti hai, toh kaafi ajeeb lagta hai. Please, it's only Maan" and as he helps her find the paperhead, "Aur waise bhi mujhe kabhi bhi tumhara mujhe Sir kehna achha nahin. Well, only when I used to irrate you Ms. Secretary".

Geet looked upto him, and saw a slight mischievious twinkle in his eyes with him looking at her intently, and Geet got lost in his eyes. Then slowly coming back to her senses, she lowered her eyes. Maan was able to see the color of Geet's face turn bright red, which made him pleased. Ek anjaani si khushi ka ehsaas hua Maan ko yeh jaankar ki Geet sharma rahi hai. Suddenly Geet heard Maan say "Ouch". Infact he had just got a nasty papercut and there was a bit of blood coming out. Geet worried grabbed his finger, and sucked on it to relieve the pain Main was feeling. This spontaneous action of Geet left Maan spellbound looking at his little angel. Slowly Geet realized that she in that brief moment had lost control over her feelings, and was deeply embarressed 'Maan kya soch rahe honge'. She let go of Maan's finger and went back to her desk.

She remembered then about the taveez, and asked Maan about it-"Maan aapki drawers mein maine apni taveez dekhi"

Maan recalling the taveez, took it out-"Haan, yeh taveez pata nahin hamesha mere paas hi aa jaata hai Geet" and relunctantly continued-"Rakh lo issay". Geet came forward having made a decision, and took the taveez saying-"Agar yeh hamesha aapke paas hi aata hai, toh shayad aapke paas hi rehna chahiye". Saying this, Geet put the taveez around Maan's neck "Please ab issay hamesha apne saath hi rakhna". Maaneet once again got lost looking at each other. There was no need of them speaking as their eyes spoke volumes. Their psychic connection had been established.

Geet thinking-'In every way Maan, you have proven to be my humsafar. Even this taveez has indicated so. If you bring your hand forward, I will not hesitate to hold it'

Maan replying to her in his head-'Geet, I'm always there for you till my last breath. I will always protect and cherish you. Trust me Geet. If this is your step towards me, then I will advance as well. I promise, and you know I always keep my word.'

With a knock on the door, Maaneet's psychic conversation came to an end. It was time for the architectural meeting with Sasha.

A few weeks later at Khurana House:

The awkwardness was slowly coming to an end. Maan however was missing his bickering with Geet, and decided it was time to get his Punjaban all fired up.

In front of Dadi, Maan blamed Geet for no reason being careless, and clumsy. After finishing his daantt, he left for his room. Geet was fuming -"Yeh Dusht Daanav Dadimaa ke saamne mujhe bina wajah daantta hai. Nahin mujhe abhi uss kharoos se baat karni hogi". Thinking this, Geet went in a fury to see Maan.

Maan was in his room (in his tank top) anticipating eagerly for Geet. There was a gleeful smile on his face thinking about the phatkaar that Geet was going to be giving him.

Geet came in the room, and went upto Maan-"Yeh sab kya tha? Maine kab eisa......". As she continued, Maan kept looking at her intently enjoying every single word that was coming out of his lady love's mouth. Geet was going non-stop, and Maan realized it was time to stop her. However, whenever he tried Geet kept cutting him off. In the end, Maan moved closer to Geet, so close that there was barely an inch between them. Geet looked up at Maan who was gazing with so much affection towards her. Geet slowly got lost in his eyes. As Maan came closer towards her, she started to get nervous. He pulled Geet closer to him by the waist, and whispered-"Itna gussa tumhare liye accha nahin" 😳

Geet looked at him and continued-"Par..", and as he bent towards her Geet closed her eyes. It was reflex thing which she did unconsciously. Maan before had gotten her quiet once by placing his finger on her lips, then placing his hands over her mouth, and now he placed his ???? on hers. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

And soon she experienced something completely different. An unknown feeling which was passionate, intense yet gentle. This had never happened before. However she didn't want this to end. ☺️😳

Maan realized what was happening. He didn't know what Geet would think. So he slowly separated himself from her. They were both out of breath, and their faces red. 😳 Maan embaressed-"Woh I mean Geet, pata nahin yeh kaise ho gaya. Please don't be mad at me", Maan started to distance himself from Geet. To his suprise, he felt something on his arms.😲 As he turned around, he saw Geet holding onto his arm. Maan seeing this reaction from Geet was both surprised and happy at the same time-"Geet?"😊

Geet who's a crimson red 😳-"Maan mera humsafar hamesha mere saamne hi tha. Par main hi ussay pehchaan naa saki".

Maan comes closer to Geet, and Geet just goes and hugs him crying. Maan reciprocates her hug with a smile knowing his wait is over now. Uska pyaar ussay mil chuka hai. Just then Dadi's chamchu Chandu comes and interrupts them-"Woh Chhote sahab Dadimaa ne aapko aur bahurani ko bulaya hai" 😆

Maaneet both embarressed at being caught like that😳, look at Chandu who's smiling way too broadly.😃😃

Maan getting his kharoospana back-"Haan, theek hai. Chalte hain"😆😆

Chandu-"Abhi aane ko kaha hai"😃😆

Maan has a super annoyed look thinking 'yeh kabab mein haddi' 😡 but Geet moves forward saying-"Haan chalo Chandu. Maan aayiye".😳

Maaneet leave together. ☺️☺️
