thanks for the update... and no offence to any single mothers but what the hell is Geet thinking??? she is not highly educated, dsnt have a job, lives in a small town and a fake husband who used and threw her out without even bothering... and she wants to have a baby??? with what will she raise him/her up?? and what kind of life would the baby have growing up?? and how safe would the baby be from the rakshas uncle Brij?? I feel the character of Geet is senseless than brave... again no offence to anyone...
I would love to see Geet turning into a mature, brave and independent woman, who makes dev pay for his kaale kartooth....
I think Geet's decision to keep the baby is more morality-inspired than what some people may consider 'practical', because even I feel abortion is wrong unless in extremely extreme circumstances where the mother's life is in danger if she gives birth to the baby. I do not support abortion because the fetus has a right to live and experience life just as much as everyone else. What will happen to it after it is born is completely chance. I mean, Geet's life may suck now. But what if she got an abortion because she thinks she may not be able to provide well for the child, but then her life suddenly because brighter a few months later? She would have wished she'd kept the baby then. So one should not take decisions simply upon the present day circumstances, but take the future into consideration too.
Anyhow, I do not want to make this into a debate about Pro Life or not, because then arguments may arise, so I will just say that this is my opinion and I support Geet's decision because I am against abortion and therefore proud of how Geet's character has turned out to be.😊 She is a character who was brought up with many values and beliefs, and one of those may be that abortion is wrong, and she will feel guilty for the rest of her life if she murdered her baby while still in the womb. Strictly in my own opinion, I feel that abortion is the same thing as murder, unlike miscarriage which is purely by chance. I do not support abortion any more than I support murder. I mean, when Geet conceived the baby, she was not raped. She 'did it' willingly with Dev. Though her marriage with him was a ruse, she did not know it then so the thing was not done through any kind of force or anything. In that way, I feel that Geet herself has to bear the responsibilty of her actions, and I feel her duty lies in giving birth to the baby and bringing it up with the best future she can manage. Geet herself probably thinks that, which is the reason she chose to keep the baby. Along with bringing it into the world, she will teach Dev a lesson and put him in his place at the same time so that he does not ruin the life of any other girl again, and neither messes with her or her child again.
