Hey Guys, I don't know if any of you saw the serial Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari on Colors with Mugdha and Karan Wahi in lead. The serial Geet is similar to it. In that serial too Chandini(Mugdha) gets married to a person from Canada and her family doesn't do any background checks on that guy and turns out he is a already married guy.

Totally agreed with psarada. I am just about to post it but my dear friend psarada posted it. The concept is totally similar with Mere Ghar aayi ek nanhi pari.

I totally disagree about Geet's grandfatehr in JWM. Although he was a tough cookie he was very soft-hearted and forgiving. Even though Geet ran away he was willing to accept her with open arms. Also, he realised before anyone else how perfect Geet-Aditya are for each other and that they already had feelings for each other before they themselves realised it.

Whereas in the show, geet's grandfather is a chauvanistic, unreasonable and thick-minded fool.

Main har forum me ghoomti rehti hoon. When I saw this discussion and saw ur post I replied. Dont worry yahan nanhi pari ki tarah wo log Geet ko kaam nahin karwayenge. They abandoned her in airport.

Your not totally off. 😊 If you are talking about the concept of a good male friend (Maan) helping a female in need (Geet) to go find her love (Dev) but instead fall in love during the way. That concept is not only a part of JWM but Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and probably alot of other bollywood flicks that I can't remember. Other then that I think the story of Geet is more serious and dramatic. And Dev doesn't love Geet but only married her for love, while the other love stories there was some what love and care between the couples but had less things in common, while the person that helps turns out to be their true soul mate. We can only wait and watch, But it is sure getting interesting.

Hello all,

I never thought that this thread would get so much attention. Let me be clear - I said the concept only and not 100% copy. There has to be some differences to make it interesting for the viewers.

Cheers.

The concept of the show itself is serious. You can tell clearly that this show is not going to be some light-hearted entertainment, as soon as you watch the beginning of the first episode.

Wow, that is a strong statement, are you that good in predicting what will happen from the 1st episode.....so what should we expect in 105th episode (if it lasts that long)
