Me. Dont get me talking. I am such a huge foodie. I love love love love Burfi (Kaju), crazy hot gulaab jamun *mouth melts* and gajar ka halwa. I usually buy the first two. But gaajar ka halwa, mom makes and they are the best on earth. Then she makes kheer in her own style and they are way way better than the usual ones. Jeez, I guess I am gonna order one box now.

soan papadi..its quite hard to make at home actually..
thats cos that awesum layer you get on the soan papdi na?is beacause the mixture is whisked together very fast..thats why it gets strings and thats why many layers...similar to how you make candy floss..its made on a machine commercially
the best soan papdi ive eaten is of haldiram
but you can try this one..the flavour will be pretty much the same
Ingredients:
• 1-1/4 cup Besan (gram flour)
• 1-1/4 cup Maida (all-purpose flour)
• 1-1/2 cup Water
• 2 tbsp Milk
• 250 gms Ghee
• 2-1/2 cups Sugar
• 1/2 tsp Cardamom seeds (crushed coarsely)
• 2 tsp Charmagaz
• 4 Inches square pieces of thin polythene sheet
How to make Soan Papdi:
Mix maida and besan properly.
Take a heavy saucepan and heat ghee in it.
Add flour mixture and roast on low heat until light golden.
Cool a little, stirring occasionally.
Make syrup of sugar, water and milk.
Bring syrup to 2-1/2 thread consistency.
Pour it into the flour mixture.
Beat properly with a large fork until the mixture forms thread like flakes.
Transfer onto a greased surface and roll to 1 inch thickness.
Add the charmagaz seeds and cardamom. Push down with palm.
Cut into 1 inch squares, when cool.
Wrap separately into square pieces of thin polyethene sheet.
Store Soan Papri in an airtight container.

I love eating Jelebi and its very hard getting the ones with the right amount of sweetness and crisp as some usually has the sour taste. Another thing i like is Halwa 😉
