Man this was sooo good and the punch line was the last one when Ranbir reveals himself. Can't wait to see Kanya's reaction. Yaar you stop at cliffhangers that makes me want to eagerly await the next update. But the good thing is that you update quite regularly and so I don't have to wait a long time for the updates. Now I think it is turn for my fav ff Accidental marriage. Do update that ff today if possible.

PART 6

RECAP-A stranger boards the plane and is seated next to Kanya. They have a war of words. Kanya is shocked to know that the stranger knows who she is and tries to guess who the person by asking several questions about his past. Kanya was not expecting Ranbir Nanda her mortal enemy.

Kanya stared back at the guy in front of her still trying to figure out what he said was true but then brushed the thought aside as there were more than one Ranbir Nanda in the world right. Plus this guy was definitely HOT. She had a hard time concentrating sitting next to him and she tried to remind herself that she was after Karan. The guy she knew back in school was the total opposite. But then again she had a hard time listening to anything he told her as she was too busy concentrating on his chiselled looks. She definitely wanted to touch his hair that was tied back in a pony tail.

R-Hello! Kanya kaha koi gayi? U definitely R a day dreamer.

K-I was thinking tum joke acha kar lete ho. Mujhe dara di thi.

R-Joking about what?

K-Tumhara naam bilkul us Ranbir Nanda se miltha hain. Sach main kaho na.

R-Good to know main abhi bhi tumhe joker dikhta hoon. I am Ranbir Nanda chipkali. I see U R as dense as ever. Kisi cheez tumhari dimakh main atak tha nahin.

K-Oh my God tum sach much ki woh ho. lekin tum to saand te. Itni badlaav. Kaise? U R here to break up Radha and Karan right?

R-Itne sare sawaal. Never judge a book by its cover. That is what U have always been good at right. Its been years Kanya people change. Life changes U. i guess U guys made me stronger. Better myself. Years of trying to make it to the big time. The struggle. Not eating right. Hitting the gym trying to rid all my aggression there. Its a great stress buster. Until one day i made a break through. Made all the money i could that nobody so much as recognizes me as the old Ranbir. I have my own designers come up with a new look and poof. Here i am. Its been fun Kanya. Ur expression were killing me totally. I've not had this much fun. Nice to know U like the new me. Maybe not the person.

K-I put my foot in it again. Well the next day or two should be fun. Sorry about before.

R-U've changed your tune. U never used to apologize.

K-Well i was in the wrong. I guess we will be seeing each other a lot more seeming as we R going to be at the wedding. We can help each other win our love back.

R-I'm sorry this is where i have to differ from U. this is a war that i will fight on my own just like i have been doing all my life.

K-2 heads R better than 1.

R-That might be in your case but not me.

K-Tumhe kaha na sorry. I didn't know.

R-Its ok. Tumse yahi umeed thi. Nothings changed.

K-I'm not the old Kanya Ranbir. I didn't mean to insult U like that. If i knew U were.

R- U wouldn't have sl*gged me off yeah. Its ok. I don't blame U as i'm over the past. Don't dwell on it i'm not.

K-Thats not what i mean. God tum kitne patronizing karte ho. tum tab jangle te abh bhi ho. I know Ur a high flyer and that but at least accept my apology.

R-Kanya can we at least be civil the next day or 2? Itna gussa acha nahin hain.

K-Ok.

Ranbir and Kanya have a little nap for 3 hours or maybe more. Kanya wakes up first. Goes to the bathroom. Comes back to sit down. She looks at a peaceful looking Ranbir. She started thinking about the past and then comes back to the present. She was transfixed by Ranbir. He never had that effect on her before. Ever. For some reason even back then he was one person that had the biggest reaction from her. She felt bad again. Her mind was on Karan when she boarded the stupid plane but now her thoughts were consumed with Ranbir. After all these years she saw him again only to get into fights with him. In a way it was better Ranbir would make her job easier. He would be battling it for Radha and she will do the same for Karan. They will be none the wiser.

Ranbir woke up hearing his cell phone go off. He took the call. He was very annoyed and abrupt with the person for not being able to get the contract sorted. He made sure everything was running smoothly before he left and it was just a day gone. Kanya was looking much better if not a little pale.

R-Business call.

K-Oh i guessed. U seem to know what U R talking about. U have so much authority in your voice.

R-This is how U do business.

K-Probably why i'm in the mess i'm in.

R-So how long have U been up?

K-Half an hour or so.

R-Well i'll just go freshen up.

Ranbir does that and returns looking more awake. The stewardess comes in with breakfast and asks Kanya what she wants. By then Ranbir is already sitting down. Kanya is too busy looking at Ranbirs hair which is loose and wet.

Stewardess-Man what do U want?

K-Ranbir.

Ranbir looks back at Kanya with a smile on his face. He started getting the feeling that he was getting Miss Chipkali a little too worked up.

R-She's asking U tum kaoge kya?

K-Oh toast is fine thank U with chocolate spread.

R-Try a healthier option.

K-Its not like i have to watch my weight. I'm trying hard to gain but no matter what nothing works.

R-U R blessed then. I need to watch what i eat. I will try some cerial with dries fruits please.

Kanya munches away on her breakfast and drinks her orange juice. The stewardess comes back and gives Ranbir straight black coffee.

K-I see tum strong kisam ke aadmi ho. How much coffee is in there?

R-I asked for strong so thats what i got. Its starts the day off with a bang. Try some.

K-Sorry i like mine really sweet with 3 spoons of sugar and lots of milk.

R-So Kanya R we ok?

K-Yeah. I'm glad U don't have any grudges.

R-Lifes too short to hold them. I'm not the angry young man i used to be but U bring out the worst in me.

K-I can say the same for U.

R-Looks like we R really more a like huh. Still after our past loves.

K-Well i never want to look back and regret i never did anything in life.

R-I've achieved all i can i just want Rads back U know. Make a go of it.

K-I just hope its not late. I don't want to break anyone up but if theres a chance then i want to take it.

R-Same here. If i remember correctly Karan was never in love with U.

K-True. The one guy i wanted nevr wanted me and the guys i never set eyes on wanted me. Weird na.

R-Well they do say we want what we can't have.

K-True but Ranbir why did U and Radha break up? U 2 were so close.

R-We grew apart. More like flew apart. I was too proud to accept handouts or any help. She had to be there for her father. Karan was always into her. He had money so went for it. I never thought she'd give in. She said she'd wait.

K-Well she is closing in on 30 and is probably lost hope of U coming for her.

R-U heard.

K-Yeah. We really R a pair but i hope things go well in your qest.

R-U 2. Its strange how we hated the sight of ach other R actually having a conversation.

K-I know but then again we have nowhere to escape.

R-True.

K-Did U do any digging for your U know.?

R-What?

K-Birth parents?

R-I can't be bothered. They left me long ago. If i don't know them it won't affect me.

K-Sorry if i was prying.

R-Its ok. U know maybe we can help each other out. U know i do feel like i'll need the help as I don't even know if Radha loves Karan or not. I have business to get through. Expansion plans for Europe.

K-So U will be a busy guy then.

R-Yes.

K-Ranbir i'm glad tum mujhe yaha mile. I think if we met in London we would have ended up sabotaging the others plan.

R-U should smile more Kanya. It brings out the colour on your cheeks.

K-U 2 need to stop being so srious and chill. Ache dikhte ho.

R-Woh to meh hu.

K-I guess your confidence is high after your makeover.

R-I don't know.

K-So where R U staying in London?

R-Some top hotel I booked. Never know the name of it but my driver will pick me up. U?

K-I have a bread and breakfast place.

R-Well i guess i'll be seeing U around. U know this isn't a proposition or anything but if U want we can meet each other at my hotel. Its a huge room and i can book another room for U. don't bother wasting your money.

K-But then U will be wasting yours.

R-Look Kanya we R not good friends but this way we can actually help each other more than staying apart.

Kanya thought about it but she did have one problem Ranbir. The new him was too much. After a long concideration she thought why not.

Part 7

Recap-Ranbir and Kanya have a civilized conversation decide to help each other in winning back their love getting rid of the bad blood they had in the past. Ranbir helps out Kanya with accommodation deciding to stay in the same hotel. To make it easier for each other to be in touch.

They stay the night at this swanky posh Hotal Ranbir booked in the same room as there weren't any other rooms available. They were amicable in staying in the same place as Kanya knew nothing would happen to her. Ranbir had eyes for one woman only and she would help him get her. It had been months of Kanya waiting for a sign and make amends with the one person she hurt the most in her life after her parents. Kanya in reality had no interest in Karan at all. If he never loved her then he sure wasn't going to love her now. She wasn't dumb but in the place Kanya was right now she knew she didn't have the luxury of time. At the time she acted on impulse as Radha was messing with Love. She had to know for sure if she was doing the right thing. So she had to move fast. Kanya had already slipped into her night clothes. She got her bag out and had her regular dose of medication she was prescribed with some water.

Ranbir didn't get this Kanya at all. He was never one to start a fight with her as it was always Kanya that started it. He had expected a ferocious Kanya but ended up with a tame version of her. He even noticed how every so often she takes these pills. Well it was her life if she was a crack head but he was very curious. He wanted to know more about Kanya but he could tell she was too tired so he let her sleep while he made some calls sorting out his business in India. He stayed up for a few hours and covered Kanya with a blanket. He ended up going to sleep.

The next day Kanya woke up first looking at who was beside her. Ranbir looked really funny as he was sleeping upside down. His feet were on the side while his head was near the bottom of the bed next to his laptop. She quickly got out had a quick wash wearing a different outfit. She went next to Ranbir and looked at him carefully for a few minutes. He looked so peaceful when he slept. She whispered something in his ears telling him his life will change for the better and will take the next step of his own accord to find his true self. She went to make a call to her sister ooja. She must be besdes herself not knowing what is happening.

K-Hello Di its me Kanya!

P-Kanya ki bachi tu ab mujhe phone karti hain. Do U have any idea how worried i was?

K-U were born to worry Di but pretty soon U won't ever need a reason to worry about me.

P-Tu khya bakrahi hain? Think positive Kanya.

K-I am thinking positive. Its U not letting go. I'll make sure i find someone that will never let go of U.

P-Forget setting me up baby sister. Look after yourself Kanya and don't forget your routine. So have U met Karan yet?

K-U will never believe whi i met Di. He's better than Karan.

P-Kaun hain? I'm all excited now. Is he a movie star or some famous footaballer.

K-Ranbir. The Industrialist. Mera Ranbir. I mean U know The guy i used to torture in school and college. He's a rich guy now.

P-Well even i knew that. So u met the infamous Ranbir Nanda. I heard he's a khudus.

K-He's actually quite a nice guy. I'm actually staying with him.

P-R U crazy? U barely know him. He could have a vendetta against U.

K-Chill Di trust me he's a safe guy ok. Trust me i'm not his type. He's hooked up on Radha. U take care.

P-Well make sure U look after yourself and take your meds too. Don't get yourself over excited.

K-Will do. Stop fretting Mom. Love U.

P-6 hours is the latest. Or i will have to call.

K-Acha baba. In 6 hours i will call U.

Ranbir is already awake and gets himself a wash. Ranbir had overheard Kanyas part of the conversation. He smiled at the thought that Kanya thought he was a nice guy. He got his suit on and got ready for breakfast with Kanya. Kanya looked back at Ranbir and just smiled back at him. They carried on gazing at the other as if nothing else was important. Ranbir's mobile went off which broke the contact. Ranbir seemed all business mode and dealt with any problem that was on the work front.

K-Any problems?

R-Its sorted. We'll have breakfast and the meet the future married couple to be later on.

K-Good that gives me some time to sight see and visit some professionals.

R-In what?

K-Well in India i used to volunteer for Leukaemia in children and some patients with Heart problems.

R-That wasn't U back then.

K-Things change. People change. See U later.

R-U don't want me to come with U?

K-Its better U do what U came for business and meet and greet associates.

R- Ok. But we meet up here again.

K-Will do.

So they both did their own thing for a few hours and met up again totally happy to see the other. Ranbir couldn't get the image of Kanya the humanitarian. She seemed tired again. Maybe the stresses of seeing Karan were getting to her. It was bad enough he was in sweats just thinking about Radha. He hadn't seen her for 6 years but the anticipation was killing him. Kanya gave him a squeeze with her hands and winked at him. She went to see Karan and gave him a little hug for old time sake. While Ranbir went to Radha. She looked as beautiful as ever just the way she was when he last saw her. Her eyes lit up seeing him. She gave Ranbir a hug too. Ranbir felt nothing in that hug but a sense of friendship. Had he gotten over Radha. She was his only love. Maybe the vibes were coming off of Radha after all it was her that was moving on with her life and not him.

RM-So glad U made it.

R-R U?

RM-What kind of question is that?

R-Good to see U looking good as ever. Time hasn't done any harm to U. u R as beautiful as ever. (Gives her a cheeky smile)

RM-Well i must say U R looking like a dish. 6 years have changed U tremendously into a new person. I was worried that U would never come.

R-Well it is awkward having your ex a your wedding. Don't U say? It screams out wrong.

RM-U were my best friend in India and Karan's friend.

R-Until U guys decided to be more than friends.

RM-Its in the past Ranbir.

R-Is it? The same 4 people R invited to this do. What kind of plan is this? I get a personal invite from U. Kanya gets one from one of U. whats going on here?

RM-Its just the way it is We wanted no bad blood.

R-So U invited us?

RM-Just enjoy yourself.

R-Did U never miss me?

RM-Always but we have to grow up. U too need to.

R-Its ok Rads So R U happy? With Karan? Is he the one?

RM-HE loves me and I him.

R-If thats what U want to keep telling yourself.

RM-So U still messing around or R U still finding the one or R U still caught up in the past.

R-Time will tell. Is all i can say.

RM-So U and Kanya have arrived together. Buried the hatchet. I guess today is a day for shocks huh.

R-U can say something like that.

RM-U go mingle.

Ranbir was a little baffled by what was going on. He was supposed to feel something. Was he numb through years of burying his feelings that he felt nothing at all. Was he losing his touch. Ranbir saw Kanya was still with Karan but felt a sense of anger building up. She was only talking to the guy. Kanya turned round and saw Ranbir glaring back at her. She knew then that things must have gone to a bad start with Radha. So she went towards Radha but got stopped by Ranbir.

R-So how is it going with Karan?

K-If i'm honest with U the guy is so dull. Had me bored to tears. Kept on going on about the past and how sorry he was to hurt my feelings. It's almost like i liked a whole different person but don't worry i might not want Karan but i will try to get U your Radha.

R-Well. If i'm to be honest i came out guns blazing but i don't give up. I will get Radha alone and see if she truly has no feelings for me then we will see.

Kanya looks at Ranbir thinking for a minute he changed his mind and didn't want Radha gain but she should have known better. Well if he is happy so is she. Kanya wanted Ranbir to open up and find all the answers that evaded his life.

Kanya heard music blasting. Her favourite song was on. Many people. She wanted a go. She had to avoid too many things in her life. What could happen. She mingled with everyone on floor. Radha looked at Kanya and joined the floor with Karan. Ranbir just sat back watching Kanya. This girl had energy to burn but was looking pale and out of breath.

Great she was over excited. She had to calm down before she has an attack. Last time this happened was when her Mom died. But why now? She wasn't hurting nor was she happy? Kanya sat down for a few minutes. Ranbir came to her.

R-R U ok?

K-Never better. (She took out a spray and just inhaled it)

R-U seem to be piped up on drugs.

K-U don't know the half of it. I'm ok. Please go have a blast.

R-Not in the mood for dancing.

K-I want to dance but i can't dance slow with these strange people.
