Part 4

Milind and Prachi are packing, actually Prachi trying to pack with Milind keep pulling her for a kiss every 10 seconds.
Milind nibbling on Prachi's neck: "We will stay for one more day."
Prachi: "No way, then someone will get suspicious."
Milind signs and pull back, and turns to pack again, and he looks at the bed.
Milind: "I don't want to go back."
Prachi looks at the bed: "Me too."
Milind: "Now, If I have to get u for myself, then I will have to wait for the wedding?"
Prachi smiles: "Yes!!!"
Milind: "Damn Ranbir and Kanya!! They are so lucky!!!"
Prachi starts laughing.

Prachi opens her bag and takes out a chain.
Prachi: "Nathan"
Milind: "Yeah?"
Prachi makes Milind face her, and puts the chain on his neck.
Milind: "Whats this?"
Prachi: "This is for you."
Milind looks down at the chain, and can't help but think that it was the ugliest chain he has seen in his life and the only saving grace was that the chain was so long that the huge locket hung right above his stomach, so it will be well hidden inside his shirt.
Prachi as if reading his thoughts: "I know it is ugly." Milind gives her a sheepish grin. "But this was Dad's chain. He gave it to Mom when he fell in love with her, and she gave it to me before she died to give it to the man I love."
Milind smiles: "Thank you."
Prachi: "So u have to wear it all the time, as long as u wear it, I will know u will love me."
Milind gives her a horrified look.
Prachi starts laughing: "Relax Nathan, I was just teasing u. U don't have to wear it all the time."
Milind starts smiling: "I will die for a smile of yours, Prachi. So do u really think that I won't wear a chain which is so important to u? This will always be with me," with an evil glint "and the day I give it back to you or stop wearing it, u shud realize that I don't love u anymore, and you shud get off my back"
Prachi starts laughing: "I am waiting with bated breath for tht day."
Milind: "Then u will die due to suffocation 'coz tht day will never come."
Milind pulls Prachi close and starts kissing her again.

Back at home

Inder: "I told u, that u r not going!!"
Prachi: "I will go!!"
Inder: "After, what she did, how can u say that u want to see her again."
Prachi: "Because she is my sister and I love her."
Inder: "And I don't mean anything to u??"
Prachi: "U know that's not true!!!"
Inder: "I don't want u to meet her."
Prachi: "What was her mistake dad? That she loved someone? Or that she refused to ruin another man's life by marrying him and loving someone else?"
Inder: "I don't want to talk about her. She chose someone else over us when she made her decision."
Prachi: "Okay, I won't talk about her. But tell me this y was jeeju so unacceptable to u? Y did u think that jeeju was not good enough for di?"
Inder: "He is an orphan!! He doesn't know who his parents were, he grew up in an orphanage"
Prachi was shocked: "What was jeeju's fault in that?"
Inder: "I don't want to talk about this."
Prachi: "I want to talk about it Dad, I want to know what made you so heartless."
Prachi didn't know whether it was because she was rude, or whether it was that her father didn't have an answer to her question made him slap her, and that too for the first time in her life her father raised his hand at her.
Inder: "Get out of my sight Prachi!!"
With tears in her eyes, Prachi walked off to her room. In her room she tried calling Milind, but his phone was not reachable and she had never felt so lonely in her life that she cried herself to sleep.

Next day morning, Prachi came down for breakfast, and sees Inder sitting there. She ignores him and starts having her tea, when Inder comes there and gives her a ticket.

Inder: "Your train is in one hour."
Prachi looks at him in shock: "Dad??"
Inder: "Be back in a weeks time."
Prachi hugs him: "I love you Dad!"
Inder: "And that's the problem Prachi, I love u too."
Prachi: "U r not angry with me for last night, are u??"
Inder: "No. Now eat fast and start packing your bags."
Prachi starts eating, at the same time starts calling someone.
Inder: "Calling Milind?"
Prachi: "Yeah, I have to tell him that I am going."
Inder: "He is sleeping now."
Prachi amused: "How do u know?"
Inder: "I called Premlathaji, to ask her whether she had any problem if…er….er….. if your sister attended the wedding and she said no, and that time I asked her about Milind, and she said he is sleeping as he slept late last night."
Prachi: "Okay."

After two seconds.

Prachi: "Does that mean that I can invite di for my wedding?"
Inder: "She can come as your sister, and not as my daughter."
Prachi: "Okay."
She starts smiling, as she knew that the moment Dad sees di, he will forget everything and hug her.

Prachi comes out the bathroom after taking her bath and sees Inder putting something inside her bag.
Prachi: "Dad?"
Inder turns back and looks at her. " I was keeping some pickles for you as ur sister was never a good cook and I don't want you starving to death."
Prachi starts smiling "Is it just a coincidence that Di also like pickles?"
Inder snorts: "This is for u only."
Prachi tries to hide her smile: "Yes. For me only."
Inder: "Come fast, we have to leave for the station now."
Prachi: "Yes!!"
Inder closes her bag and carries it out, with Prachi walking behind him grinning like an idiot 'oh she can see her Dad and di patching up'.

Prachi was back, and she was sitting in the car talking non stop about her sister and jeeju while Inder was silent through out the trip.
Prachi reaches home and immediately runs to the phone and starts dialing.
Inder: "Who are you calling?"
Prachi: "Nathan"
Inder: "Go freshen up first Prachi, then eat something."
Prachi: " I will do that, but first I will talk to Nathan. You know its been a week since I talked to him. Whenever I call his cell it is switched off, and when I call home he is either sleeping or gone out. And he never called me. U did give him di's no right? And u did tell him that I lost my cell in the train right?"

When Inder didn't reply, she continued on.

Prachi: "I know he is angry with me for going without telling him. And that's why he didn't call me…… he can be such a baby at times."
Inder: "Go eat something Prachi."
Prachi: "Yeah Dad, after I talk to Nathan I will"
Inder losing patience: "HE IS NOT GOING TO TALK TO YOU BECAUSE HE IS NOT HERE!!HE LEFT YOU PRACHI!!!"
Prachi starts smiling: "Good one dad, but that's not gonna work."
Inder: "He left Prachi, he said he is bored with u."
Some kind of fear starts gripping Prachi.
Prachi: "That's not true Dad, Nathan loves me."
Inder with a sad expression: "No Prachi, you were like all the other girls for him."
Prachi starts panicking: "Next week I am getting married, Dad."
Inder with tears in his eyes: "No baby, u r not. Milind left."
Prachi: "U R LYING. JUST LIKE HOW U TRIED TO SEPARATE JEEJU AND DI, U R TRYING TO SEPARATE NATHAN AND ME."
Inder: "No baby, he left the day you left to ur di's place."
Prachi: "I don't believe you. U r lying."
Inder: "Will you believe if Premlathaji tells u?"
Before Prachi cud reply, Inder pulls her and walks towards the car.

At Mishra House

Premlatha with tears in her eyes: "It's true Prachi."
Prachi: "No, its not."
Premlatha: "Wait here"
Premlatha goes inside and later comes back with something.
Premlatha: "Nathan, told me to give this to u."
Premlatha takes her hand to give it to her. And somehow without even looking at it, Prachi knew what it was, her mother's chain. Prachi looks down as Premlatha places it on her palm and she realized as her world started crashing down that she was right.

"And the day I give it back to you, u shud realize that I don't love u anymore, and you shud get off my back"

With his words echoing in her head, Prachi falls down on the ground and burst out crying.
Premlatha also starts crying and in between her sobs: "He said, for a moment even he thought he was in love with you. But then he realized that he was not. And he is now bored with u and can't imagine spending his entire life with you. And told me to tell you that he is sorry. And if someone else would have you now, then marry him and don't waste your life for him."
Premlatha: "I will never forgive him for what he did to you Prachi."
Premlatha hugs Prachi while Prachi was cluthing the chain close to her heart, in away trying to hold on to Nathan.

I thought he was so much in love with her...Feel sorry for prachi and im guessing she might get pregnant now?😕
