PART 1 shruti n biji were walking along the roadside holding the shoppers in hand.they were living at a beautiful hill station.n their house was beautifully build at the peak of a hill.
biji- ek toh tumharey dada jaan ko najaaney kya soojhi k pahaar k ooper ja kar ghar bana diya.
shruti was also tired but she was still feeling good for the whether was so cool.cool breeze was flying her hairs away n she was walking inhaling the sweet frangrance of flowers which were planted at the edges of road.
shruti- thhak toh mein bhi gayi hoon.yeh gaari ko bhi aaj hi kharaab hona tha.lekin yahan rehne ka maza bhi bohat aata hai.shor se durr beautiful environment aur yahan ka mosam toh kitna acha hai.
biji- tumharey dada jaan ko bhi yahan ka mosam bohat pasand tha.tum toh bilkul unn pe hi gayi ho.
shruti- acha.isliye aap mujhe itna pyaar karti hein.
she said with mischevious smile.biji glared at her.she laughed.then biji said after a while,
biji- lao.yeh shopper mujhe de do.tum thhak gayi ho naa.
shruti- nahi biji its ok.
biji- arey de do naa.mein utha lon gi.
shruti- aap toh utha len gi lekin phir aap ko kon uthayey ga.
she again joked.
biji- acha.mein tumhein itni bhoori lagti hoon.beta mein abhi bhi iss kabil hoon k khud ko bhi sambhaal sakti hoon aur tumhein bhi.
shruti- i know biji.mein toh mazaak kar rahi thi.aur yeh samaan mein utha lon gi.waisey bhi ghar aaney wala hi hai.
then after walking a while,they reached home.jia was sitting there in front of heater.she was not well so she did not go with them to the market.
shruti- ab tumhari tabiyat kaisi hai?
shruti asked her,sitting next to her in front of heater.
jia- haan.ab theek hoon.
shruti- bohat thand hai aaj.
shruti said while rubbing her hands against each other to warm them.then after a while she got up.
shruti- mein khana bana leti hoon.
jia- haan chalo.
shruti- arey tum betho.tumhari tabiyat theek nahi hai.mein kar lon gi.
jia- nahi.mein theek hoon ab.phir mujhe konsa akeley kaam karna hai.tumhari help kar deti hoon.
then they both went to kitchen,prepared their dinner n then three of them had dinner together.
they just finished dinner n was sitting there in lounge,when suddenly electricity was gone n all around became dark.shruti just hold biji s hand tightly in horror n fear.
biji- kuch nahi hua hai.darro mat.
biji patted her hand.jia went to find candle.there was UPS in house but she needs candle to turn it on because nothing could be seen in whole dark.she did not find candle so she called,
jia- biji mujhe candle nahi mil rahi hai.kahan rakh di.
biji tried to get up to go n find candle but shruti stopped her,
shruti- nahi biji.yahin merey paas hi rahiyey.
biji- arey beta.candle le kar aati hoon naa.
shruti- nahi.please mat jayey.
she said in scary voice.
biji- okk baba nahi jati.tum kyun itna darr rahi ho.kuch nahi hua hai.
biji patted her head.n just then elecricity was back again.the lights turned on.shruti took a deep breath to calm herself.jia also came back.she gave water to shruti.
shruti was always mostly scared by dark.there was also an incident related to this.actually five years ago when her father died by heart attack.she was standing there besides her dieing father s bed,holding his hand.only she was there with her father then.her mom was no more n bro was in US.then suddenly elecricity was gone but it was also back in just a moment.n when it was back,she saw her father s lifeless eyes.he was gone far far away in just that one moment.from then she was living with her grandmother n from then she was scared from dark n lonliness etc.
biji- kya ho jata hai tumhein beta.aisey nahi darrtey hein.light bas jati hai aur phir wapis bhi aa jati hai.iss mein darrney wali kya baat hai.
shruti- mujhe nahi pata biji.chaliyey soney chaltey hein.
she was disturbed now.she needed to sleep.so biji took her to the room then.she was not used to sleep alone.biji have to sleep with her with room s lights on so that she does not became scared.
next day,she was sitting there in lounge watching tv when biji came out from inside the room.
biji- ryan(shruti s bro)ka phone nahi aaya.
shruti- nahi.
shruti said dryly n then again started to look at tv screen.she never liked to talk about her brother.when their father died,he came from US after all the ending rituals of their dad were finished.n he told that he was not getting leave from his job.for him,his job n career was more important than his father.he was always like that,never cared about his family n her little sister after the death of their parents.shruti was really offended with him now.biji also did not said anything again because she knew shruti does not like to talk about this.
in afternoon,biji n jia went to take some household things from market.car was still not repaired.jia was fine now so she went with biji.they were suppossed to came back before evening.because shruti could not live alone at evening or night.but it was getting dark now n biji n jia were still not here.shruti was being worried n scared now.she went inside the room n closed the door n all windows.she was praying for their come back.then suddenly snow fall started.now shruti became more worried,why were they not coming back,are they fine?she was scared when she heard some horron in the porch.she wondered because biji n jia did not go into the car.so who was this in car.she even became more scared but when she saw biji n jia outside from window,then she became relaxed n came out in lounge quickly,
shruti- kahan reh gayey thay aap log.shaam tak aa jane ka kaha tha.itni derr kyun kar di.
then suddenly she noticed biji was walking numbly.
shruti- kya hua?biji aap theek hein naa?
jia- arey kya batayen.raastey mein yeh baraf baari shuroo ho gayi,biji ka paon slip ho gaya.
shruti- what?zyada chot toh nahi aayi naa.kahan lagi hai.
she asked worriedly,sitting near to biji.
biji- arey nahi.zyada nahi lagi hai.woh toh shukar hai humein yeh larka mil gaya raastey mein,hamein yahan takk le aaya gaari mein.
shruti- woh toh theek hai lekin yahan gaari kyun park kar raha hai?
jia- arey.itefaaq se unhe rehne k liye koi jaga chahiye thi.woh ab yahan outhouse mein paying guest bann kar rehney wale hein.
jia told her.she was shocked,
shruti- what?yahan...??
biji- haan.woh yahan outhouse mein rahey ga.
shruti- what r u saying biji??
biji- kyun?kya hua?
shruti- arey aap janti hein nahi woh kon hai,kahan se aaya hai.aisey kaisey kisi ajnabi ko apne ghar mein rakh sakte hein.
biji- arey beta.kuch chehrey dekhtey hi samaj mein aa jata hai k unn pe bharosa kiya ja sakta hai.
shruti- ohh biji.yeh sab sirf kehne ki batein hein.aap bhi...
biji- arey woh aa gaya.
shruti looked at door n there he was standing at the door.he was jerking the snow fallen on his hair.then he looked up.he saw the beautiful girl standing near biji,so he said smiling,
akaash- hi.
he was saying to shruti,but instead of replying,she turned n went to the kitchen.
ATTITUDE......akaash thought in mind n smiled.
biji- akaash beta.aao naa ander.
biji got up to take him inside.
akaash- arey nahi aap bethiyey.aap k paon mein chot aayi hai naa.
he came inside.biji sat down n he also sat there with biji.
shruti went to kitchen.jia was arranging for the dinner there
shruti- yeh biji bhi pata nahi kise utha kar le aayen hein.
jia- acha hai naa.ab wohi yahan aa jaya karen ge.waisey toh yahan koi aata hi nahi hai.
shruti- kya acha hai.kuch jaantey ho tum log uss k barey mein,kon hai,kya karta hai.
jia- haan jaantey hein naa.unho ne bataya k unn ki family canada shift kar chuki hai aur woh yahan law college mein parhtey hein.holidays mein hostel ki building repair karne k liye sab ko hostel chorna para.aur inn k paas rehne ki koi jaga nahi hai ab.toh biji ne unn ko yahan aa kar rehne k liye keh diya.iss mein kya ghalat hai.
shruti was irritated now.
shruti- kuch ghalat nahi hai.ab chalo table pe khana laga den.
jia- haan chalo.
there,akaash said to biji,
akaash- mein outhouse mein chalon phir.
biji- arey beta.khana kha kar jana ab.bas khana tayaar hai.
n then after a while,they all were sitting on the dinning.
biji- kaisa hai khana beta?
akaash- delicious.
biji- shruti ne banaya hai.
akaash looked at her smiling.this time she smiled back.
biji- iss ko khana banane aur plantation ka bohat shoq hai.mein toh iss ko kehti hoon k tum thora aur parh lo,yeh sab toh baad mein hota rahey ga.aur apne bhai k paas US bhi nahi jati hai.mein toh kehti hoon k issey bahar nikalna chahiye,duniya dekhni chahiye lekin yeh sunti hi nahi hai.
shruti was being irritated now.why biji was telling her whole life history to HIM.what he has to do with it.n akaash was fondly listening to biji.
akaash- yeah aap theek keh rahi hein.aap ko really bahar ki duniya ka experience hona chahiye.
he said first sentence to biji n second to shruti.shruti had to smile but she was being irritated in mind.
yeh janaab bhi kuch kum nahi hein.biji ki tarah hi hai. yun mujhe mashvarey de raha hai jaise mujhe saalon se jaanta hai.......she was thinking in mind.
