Angad stopped the car in front of the huge college. Kripa looked at it in awe. Even Angad thought it was cool. They were in the parking lot, in just about 5 minutes they were suppose to meet with their guidance counselor. They had the same guidance counselor. Angad and Kripa came out of the car together and made their way to the main lobby. There weren't that many people outside the school, everyone had a different schedule so some where in their classes while others were going to their classes.
Kripa was to busy looking at the college in awe that she didn't notice a girl coming this way. When finally the girl bumped into her, Kripa noticed her. All the girls books dropped, Kripa noticed she didn't have a bag to carry anything in. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry," Kripa bent down and helped her collect her books. She was a fair, skinny yet very beautiful girl.
"What do you mean sorry? Just because you're rich it doesn't mean you can walk wherever you want." she said standing up with her books. Arguing like she always does.
"I'm really sorry," said Kripa feeling guilty. It was her fault after all, and she didn't want anyone to think that just because she was rich she could do anything. This is why she came here, to prove to everyone that she can do what other people can. "Hey Kripa, I'm Kanya, thanks for helping me. Are you going to the lobby too?"
"Fine… its ok." Kanya grumbled. Kanya looked at Angad, he looked kind of mad. If any one spoke to him that way… then it was really bad, lets just put it like that for now. Maybe that's what the difference between Angad and Kripa was, and maybe that's why Angad felt attracted to her.
"By the way my name is Kripa," said Kripa holding out her hand. All of Kanya's anger vanished, maybe all rich people weren't big jerks, she thought.
"I'm Kanya… Anyways I have to go now I only have like 3 minutes to meet my guidance counselor Mrs. Singh." She said turning around.
"Wait, we're going their too," Kripa said stopping Kanya. "Let's go together."
The three walked together to the lobby. On there way they saw a guy right outside the lobby 'busy' with a girl. He was all over her. Kripa looked at him in disgust. How she hated guys like him, the ones that didn't even know a girl two minutes ago, but where smooching all over her two minutes later.
Angad noticed Kripa staring at the couple, he looked at Kripa, and he could see the hatred in her eyes clearly. Would she hate him too then? Angad never wanted to see hatred like that in Kripa's eyes for him, but why? He barely knew here, they just met and became friends 2 and a half hour's ago. But why did it seem as if he had known her forever? Angad came out of his thoughts as they reached their guidance counselor, Mrs. Kavita Singh.
"Hello, you guys are early," started off Mrs. Kavita. "You still have one minute. I like people who care about their time, that way they don't waste mine." Kavita was a very strict counselor. All the counselors and teachers were trained right from the military. To be a teacher at Kiran was a big thing.
Another girl walked in with a stylish kurta and a chudidaar. Right behind her came two boys, one with an elegant business like suit and the other with his tight shirt and ripped up jeans. They stood with the group. "Good you guys made it on time," said Mrs. Kavita with an approving look. She counted the kids in her head. One was missing, but she didn't say anything… yet.
"Prithvi Bose, Angad Khanna, and Kripa Sharma, stand over here," she said pointing to the right. Angad, Kripa, and the boy with tight shirt and ripped up jeans moved to the right.
Prithvi Bose
A rich spoiled brat. He's pretty cute if you look at him in plain sight, but once you get to know his attitude, he seems to get very ugly. He gets angry very quickly, if someone messes with him, he teaches them a well learned lesson.
"Riddhima Gupta and Armaan Malik stand over here," she said pointing to her left. Riddhima went to the left, but where was this so called Armaan?
"And Kanya Godbole, and Ayaan Nanda stand over here," she said pointing to the center. Kanya and the guy with the suit moved to the center. Kanya looked at him; he was perfect she thought in her head. He matched all the qualities she wanted in a guy. The suit, the look, and the way he walked, but the only problem was he was rich. Was he like all the other rich people? As she analyzed him, Ayaan looked at her. He thought she was beautiful too, a simple girl, just what he wanted. It was love at first sight, or was it?
Ayaan Nanda
A nice young boy with a very nice attitude. He never gets what he wants because of his Chachu. He blames his Chachu for everything; he pretty much hates his Chachu now for never giving him any freedom.
"Look at the people next to you; they are in the same category as you. To my right is Music, to my left is Medical, and to the center is Business. I am Mrs. Kavita Singh, as you should know if you read your acceptation letter. I am your guidance counselor, if you have any problems with anything, come to me. Now let's begin the tour." said Mrs. Kavita Singh. Sure it looked like she wasn't happy about being here, but really she was the happiest person there. She just wanted to put a strict image of herself in front of her students. She had practiced her little speech in front of the mirror thousands of times, just as the students had seen dreams of being here thousands of times.
"I hope you have your schedules with you. If you don't, you will get one from me, but you will also be serving detention during our break in my office." She said smiling.
Kripa took out a folder from her small backpack; her schedule was in the folder. Kanya had her schedule already in front of her, and Riddhima's schedule was folded up in her purse. Angad took out his schedule from his back pocket. It was pretty torn up by now. Ayaan took out a perfectly folded schedule from inside his coat. Prithvi was a little embarrassed, the first day and he already got his detention scheduled. He didn't have his schedule, he used it to write his number on it and give it to a girl. "Um… I don't have mine."
Mrs. Kavita didn't look angry, but she simply smirked, she was expecting this boy not to have his schedule. She took one out of the blue folder she was holding. "Here you go," Mrs. Kavita handed him the paper. "I'll be expecting you in my office at 10 A.M sharp."
Kripa giggled, she couldn't hold it. Prithvi gave Kripa a look, which made Kripa stop laughing immediately.
"Ok now, let me show you guys around. Once we are done with the tour, you will proceed to your classes. Please pay attention to the tour, because I won't be taking any one to there class." She started the tour. There was no class that was in order. If the Latin class was over here, then the chemistry lab was right next to it. There were other groups that were taking tours too. Kripa, Riddhima, and Kanya became friends during the tour, as they noticed that there classes were close by.
What no body noticed was that Armaan was close by sneaking into the tour. He was to busy following the guidance counselor to notice Riddhima. Mrs. Kavita was taking the tour to the cafeteria. Armaan had a plan, he took a near by ketchup bottle and made a fake wound on his forehead. Then went back to the main lobby and waited for Mrs. Kavita, he had the perfect excuse now, and he knew where all his classes were. It was better than saying he got caught up in following a girl. Yea he was following Riddhima, but he lost her somewhere in the crowd.
As the tour was over and everyone went to there classes, Mrs. Kavita went back to the main lounge to see a wounded Armaan. "Are you okay?!" asked Mrs. Kavita coming to his side. He was sitting on the comfy orange sofa, with his hand over the ketchup.
"Oh no, I'm fine, on the way to coming here I got into an accident. But I didn't want to miss the first day of this… awesome… college," said Armaan buttering up Mrs. Kavita.
"Are you sure you wouldn't rather go home for now, and come after a couple of days? There's an awful lot of blood coming out." Said Mrs. Kavita worried about the poor student. "Mr. Armaan Malik, right? I'll call your parents now." She said getting up heading for the phone on the desk, to which a staff member was sitting behind.
Armaan got up as quickly as he could. "No! Its okay, I want to be here, I don't want to miss all the fun." He said back into his pleasing voice.
Mrs. Kavita was really touched. "Well…" she said kind of unsure. "Do you know where your class is? Or do you want me to take you there."
"No, its ok, I'm just going to go to the bathroom and then I will go to my class. I know where it is, I studied the map right here," he said pointing to the map taped to the desk. "I was trying to make the pain go away."
"Here, let me right you a pass then." She said going to the other side of the desk and taking out a pink slip from the drawer next to the staff member. She scribbled something into it and handed it to Armaan. Armaan took the pass and headed to the bathroom. As he entered the bathroom, he noticed how elegant the bathrooms were too. Nice white paper towels were hanging on the bathroom wall. He took one and wiped off the ketchup. It was making his head itchy. He needed to bandage his 'wound', but how. Then it came to him. He went in to one of the stalls and took out a long roll of the towel in the stall. He wrapped it around his head and made his way to the class.
???
Angad, Kripa and Prithvi had there dance class together. Kripa had her singing practice with him too. To bad they didn't have the rest of there classes together. The dance class didn't have any desks, but it did have a nice red rug on the floor. "I think were supposed to sit here." Angad said frowning.
He looked so cute, thought Kripa. She was the first one to sit down; everyone else had 'a problem' sitting on the floor. Angad sat next to her.
"Why should we sit on the floor?" asked Prithvi a little annoyed while sitting down.
"I don't know… maybe because we won't be dancing on desks." said Kripa smiling at him like a goof. Prithvi just gave her a look. Kripa despised rich brats; sure she was rich, but nothing close to a brat.
The teacher came in wearing a nice blue yoga outfit. "Hello class, my name is Nirupama Verma." She said standing in the middle of the class in front of the students on the red carpet. Like all the teachers she was strict too, and she would get to work with the class on the first day.
"Your uniforms are in your lockers, and all your lockers are labeled and shut with a lock. The lock has its code on the back of it. I want you to remove the code as soon as you open your locker." She said while opening a door behind and to the left of her. She revealed a pink room with huge gray lockers and stalls.
"This is the girl's locker room," she said letting go of the door letting it shut on its own. She walked down across the room the other side and held out another door. It was the same thing, except it was blue. "This is the boys', I don't want any boys in the girl's locker room or any girls in the boys locker room. Understood?" she asked. As she saw the nodding heads in agreement, she told them to go in and change in 5 minutes.
???
Armaan reached his classroom just when the teacher was showing everyone there seats. There were large white desks around the whole room arranged in a very disordered manner.
Riddhima was in the middle, and her lab partner for the rest of the year would be Armaan. Who is this Armaan? He wasn't at the tour either… she thought. Then she heard a knock on the door, she immediately looked over there to see the guy from the basketball court with a bandage on his forehead. Hold on, were there flowers carved in that bandage? As soon as she looked at him, she turned her face so he couldn't see her. Is this Armaan Malik? She looked around the room to see there were no more empty seats. Aw man… it is Armaan Malik… She looked at him talking to the teacher. Then as she turned her head she saw some supplies on the desk. There was a stapler, a bottle of glue, tweezers and a flashlight. She had no clue why all this stuff was on the desk, but it didn't matter.
She took the bottle of glue and opened it. Time to welcome Mr. Armaan Malik, she thought with an evil grin. She poured all the glue on his seat, while looking at the teacher to see if anyone noticed. Good thing it was transparent glue or it would've been very noticeable. She put the bottle back where she got it from and put on her innocent act. She looked at the teacher showing Armaan where he was supposed to sit.
Armaan looked at the girl in the pink salwar kameez. Great, an aunty jee, he thought. Then the 'aunty jee' turned her head and Armaan was shocked. This is going to be fun, he thought. He walked towards his desk with the cool dude attitude and sat down in his chair. Was it just him or was the seat wet? "So Ms. Basket, looks like your stuck with me." He said smiling.
No Mr. Bulls eye, you're stuck with the chair, she thought smiling to herself. She didn't say anything, but just gave him a sweet little smile.
He had fallen for that smile once, and he was going to fall for it again. He was such a doofus, she thought, always falling for the innocent act. Maybe he always fell for it because she was so innocent, unaware of the real world. Armaan smirked at her and listened to the teachers lecture. Armaan didn't talk to her for the remainder of class, she was to busy listening to the lecture anyways.
Armaan looked at her; he still didn't know her name. He peeked over at her corner of the big white desk that they were to share. Riddhima Gupta… he read in his head. Gupta… was she Shashank Gupta's daughter, the famous Shashank Gupta. He was going to ask her after class. Armaan felt something knock on his head and fall down. He looked down to see a crumpled up paper ball. He looked back to see bubbly girl. 'Read it' she signaled. He bent down to get the paper ball. He couldn't get it. He bent down once again, why wasn't his butt moving?
Riddhima heard the scraping of his chair and decided to see if the glue worked. She laughed at the sight; he was trying to get out of his seat. She laughed even more. Armaan gave her a very, very angry look. Riddhima stopped laughing and gave him a smirk, then looked back at the teacher to hear his lecture.
He bent down once again to get the paper, finally he got it. He opened it up to read it, and someone snatched it from his hands. He looked up shocked. "Hey hero, you remember me! You gave me a lift over here and then left. Why were you late though? You dropped me off over here so early, and then you said you were going to go party. Oh yea party, did you meet a girl, oh now I know what to you so long." The teacher was reading the letter out loud to the whole class.
Armaan's little lie was out. "Umm… sir… this isn't mine," he said trying to explain him self.
"Mrs. Singh's office now!" yelled Mr. Malak Shah.
"I… can't," said Armaan in a low voice.
"Get up Mr. Malik." He said signaling him to get up with his finger. He took off the toilet paper bandage. Riddhima started laughing, which caused everyone to start laughing. Armaan was embarrassed, but angry at the same time. He knew if he got up they would laugh even more. He slowly tried to get up; he got up with the chair stuck to his butt. Riddhima was almost on the floor laughing. His expression was priceless.
"Mr. Malik!" said the teacher horrified. "Not only have you disturbed the class, but you have destroyed our property! Go to Mrs. Singh's office now. And as for you Ms. Riddhima Gupta, if I hear you laugh again you will be going with Mr. Malik."
Armaan slowly walked to the door. Tripping on some ones foot and falling face flat. Riddhima burst out laughing, and so did everyone else. She covered her mouth as she saw Mr. Shah glaring at her. "Why don't you help Mr. Malik to the office Ms. Gupta." He said grinding his teeth. He had never seen such in despicable students… laughing like morons. How was he going to spend the rest of the year?
???
Kanya was sitting on her desk silently looking at Mr. Uday Tripathi passing out textbooks. She looked at the rich brat next to her, Shanaya. She didn't even know why she was here; she would either do her nails or look in the mirror of her purse and put another shade of lip gloss on. Ayaan was sitting right behind her. They became quick friends during the tour. Ayaan looked at Kanya's hair, it was in perfect waves. She was so simple, unlike the girl next to her. "Hey Kanya, you want to eat lunch with me after this class?" Ayaan asked politely.
Kanya turned around, and smiled at him nicely. "Sure, why not."
Shanaya looked at Kanya with jealousy filled in each vein. All the things she had done to get the attention of Ayaan, and this stupid poor girl gets his attention. Why wouldn't he look at her? Wasn't she pretty? Shanaya looked like she was going to cry.
Mr. Tripathi put a book on Kanya's desk. 'Financial Management' read the large text book. Kanya was always interested in business, unlike many girls. This is why there where only 3 girls in the class. Kanya, Shanaya, and Archie, so far Kanya only liked Ayaan and Archie in the class. Archie was on the other side of Kanya; Mr. Tripathi had put the girls together so they wouldn't feel uncomfortable. He was one of the smartest teachers of this college, and one of the least strict. He could tell by looking at each person how they would do, so he would teach them according to there style.
So far, he knew the best student in his class would be Kanya Godbole. The determination on her face was clearly visible. She wanted to be something in her life, and after getting her degree from here, she would definitely become something big. She might even be a threat to Ranbir Nanda, the greatest of all business men yet, he thought. That reminded him; he had a surprise for the class.
"Ok class, now that you all have your books, I have a surprise for you." The class cheered as Mr. Tripathi said this.
"Mr. Ranbir Nanda!" he said opening a door to let him in.
"Hello," said Ranbir, he felt like a king. Mr. Tripathi had seen him outside the school and asked him to stay back and say 'hi' to the students.
Kanya looked at him… He was Ranbir Nanda! The Ranbir Nanda, the great business man, her idol! He's the one who saved her from that jerk, but he insulted her too! She never knew that such a great business man could be such a jerk. But he drove her here too. Her thoughts fought with each other as she tried to make an opinion on Ranbir Nanda.
As Ranbir looked at the class, he noticed Kanya. She stood out in the class; her simplicity took over the class. "I hope you guys know who I am, because if you don't you're going to be having a lot of troubles making your career than." Ranbir said confidently. "Well Mr. Tripathi, as I was coming here I thought of something. I want to do a challenge for this class. Who ever wins gets to come with me to Italy, since I'm going there this after noon," he said looking at Mr. Tripathi.
"Oh, well that's a surprise to even me," said Mr. Tripathi. "How about who ever wins, gets extra credit in this class too?"
"That's great, now the challenge is solving this business problem." He said turning around towards the whiteboard. He had thought of this challenge very cleverly. He wanted to see if he was falling in love, then he was falling in love with the right girl. Ranbir wrote the problem on the board. Everyone looked dumbfounded, especially Shanaya, she was still trying to read the problem. She wanted to go to Italy.
Kanya thought about it for a while, but gave a very skilled answer. "Wow, impressive." said Ranbir. Even he couldn't solve such business problems at her age. She was skilled. He wrote 4 more, and Kanya answered them all with clever answers. Some even better than what Ranbir expected. He was falling for this girl even more.
"You win!" said Ranbir almost dancing in excitement. He was so proud of her; he knew she could do it. Now I want you in the main lobby in 30 minutes. Kanya nodded in excitement. Her first project, this guy wasn't that bad after all, but he was still very weird.
"Chachu can you please take Kanya like an hour later?" Ayaan asked. Kanya was shocked… Chachu?
"Sorry Ayaan, but this is the only flight of the day? But why do you want her stay for an hour?"
"I was going to eat lunch with her." He said disappointed.
"Well she's going to eat with me today; you can eat with her when she comes back." Ranbir said feeling a pang of jealousy. Would Kanya ever like him? She was 19, and he was 35 years old. He had never gotten married because he had never found 'the one'. But now that he did, he wouldn't let her out of his hands. She was his.
Ayaan started at his Chachu, his hatred for him increasing more every second.
???
I hope you liked the part! I tried my best on it. Give me your predictions and comments, they really inspire me to write more.. Thanks a lot for liking my FF. Love you all! 🤗
