"Hello? Akshay what type of chick did you select, she didn't even show up; she blew me off, and you expect me to sing with her?" my frustrated voice rang through the phone. "Angad, yo man calm down, I mean there has to be a possible explanation for her not showing up, she was so psyched when Mr. Kapoor told her she would be singing. I was there well I walked in about two minutes late by then she was gone! But seriously man, she has a lovely voice, and there has to be a reason for her not showing up, give her a second chance, you'll love her!" Akshay tried reasoning with me; but some reason I had a doubt that his words had a double meaning. I frowned in disgust and shut the phone on him.

Muttering under my breath I walked through the park, watching the little five year olds play with one another when suddenly I heart a beautiful melodic voice throughout the entire park. I listened carefully; my heart suddenly realizing to whom this voice belonged, "K" my heart sang her name, but for some reason could not remember the rest of the name. What was going on? I questioned myself, jumping up and ran throughout the entire park searching here and there looking around for the girl to this voice. I came across a bench where a young woman sat nodding her head to the side; I stopped bewildered by her actions but then came to a conclusion perhaps she was the one singing. I walked near her and found her playing with her little one in her lap. I smiled at them and walked away, my head looking in all directions.

Suddenly I felt my heartbeat increase, my breathing became far more anxious, my eyes strained to see the one I looked for; the music stopped. My heart sank, yet still anxious as I turned around and walked in another direction. I bumped into a young woman looking down as she walked, her hair covering the side of her face, "sorry!" I murmured rushing off but then stopped. When I touched her my heart had relaxed, and now it was beating rapidly again; I turned but she was gone. A loud whale ripped through my chest, "Kripaaaaa!" I stared amazed I was crying for someone I never met, and then suddenly I collapsed on the ground.

I was walking towards my car, parked just outside of the park when I heard someone scream my name. I turned, and again, "Kripaaaaaa!" I turned suddenly anxious and frightened, who here knew me? I walked in the direction of the voice and found nothing; I frowned was this supposed to be a joke? I muttered to myself and walked back towards my car now suddenly feeling helpless and nervous.

Driving down my street, I noticed an unfamiliar man storming towards my home, I increased the acceleration on the car and sped off towards him. He stopped suddenly surprised my sudden appearance. I watched him somewhat intrigued, "have I seen you before?" His heavy dark eyebrows pulled together, the fierce look in his eyes grew darker. The smile now suddenly turning into a frown; and yet somehow he looked familiar, as if he had a mixture of another man I had once seen; he smirked and walked away eyeing me from top to bottom.

I frowned in disgust as he undressed me with his creepy dark eyes; and headed off towards the front door. Bhabhi opened the door and brought me towards the living room where everyone sat calmly. I smiled and laid my head down on Dad's lap. He smiled down at me and pulled my cheeks teasingly, "your still the two year old kid, can't believe how anyone can say your twenty!" he teased with a mocking smile. I flashed him a cheeky smile and turned to the side, making myself at home, he laughed under his breath and patted my head, as Shubh teasingly pulled his aunts ponytail. "Bhua, your older than me and yet whenever I lie my head down on papa's head you tease me but look what your doing!" I flashed him a cute smile, "sweetie I'm older! And plus I'm still a two year old just like papa and dada-bhai say!" she winked at him and pulled him towards her, pulling his cheeks lightly.

"Hey beautiful!" Armaan called out to me; frustrated I turn around and find him smirking at me, "missing me yet?" he asks. I roll my eyes as a way to answer his questions. Slowly he walks near me; I walk to the side hoping to avoid his gaze and hold on me; but I fail miserably. He takes a hold of my hand pushes me against his chest; knocking me off balance yet once again. Hmmm I wonder if he knows what he does to me that's why he has been doing this a lot! "So beautiful, any plans for tonight? How about a basketball match between me, Rahul, Atul, you, Muskaan and Anjali?" I stutter slightly, basketball? I groan I hadn't done that in ages! "Sure why not, however on ONE condition!"

He questions me, but I simply say, "I win I get something, you win you get something!" he smirks, and kisses my cheek before walking out of the lounge. "ughh, that ghenda, makkichoos, khanjoos, pagal, gadda and Buddha! How dare he! Now I really have to win that basketball game to get him off my back!" I mutter to myself, "I heard that beautiful!" he screams from outside the lounge. I turn around surprised, how did he hear all the way from there.

Walking out of the lounge, I head towards the children's ward, when I find him talking with a young 5 year old with cancer. My heart aches to see such a cute child having to go through so much pain.

After leaving Riddhima alone in the lounge, I head off towards the young 5 year old Gauri Sharma. She sat their on her bed playing with nothing in particular, anything her small little hands could get a hold of. I smiled down at her and looked around the dull room, it was so dead in here. These kids could survive, happiness was their medicine. I glance once again at Gauri, and pull my hand towards her, "hi I'm Armaan Mallik, and you are?" she glances up at me, acknowledging my being there; and then rolls her eyes; "What doesn't the file say anything? And will you please go away I'm tired of these stupid old ugly mean and boring doctors and I really don't need another insulin shot!" her voice snapped at the end. I stood back and smiled at her.

Her eyes glanced at me surprised, I hadn't said anything rude back, just smiled. "your not mad?" she stuttered, somewhat overwhelmed with emotions and joy. I smiled down at her, "I can understand, hospitals are so boring without music, fun, masti and excitement!" my words rang through her ears, a smile lifted itself at the corner of her mouth; finally blossoming into a gorgeous smile.

"Uncle, you are very sweet and handsome, has everyone ever told you that and that you have a few cute dimply smile!" her sweet voice rang throughout the entire corridor. I laughed at her silliness, "well dear not yet, but now that you have, how about we go out on a date?" I asked her; she reddened embarrassed at my open flirting with her; "uncle your too much, how about you get me a date with him over there, bed number 18, every time I look over he is always interested in the other girl!" I chuckled at her and pulled her cheeks. I glanced towards his direction, "what's his name beta?" I questioned, she blushed and replied, "Shaurya!" her voice filled with excitement. I glanced once again in his direction and caught him staring at her, I smiled ran towards him and introduced myself. In a matter of moments he opened himself freely with me and I carried him towards her bed. Where I introduced them; love blossomed, I chuckled under my breath kids were fast tracked nowadays I laughed and looked through the window finding Riddhima smiling at me. I wink back at her; she blushed crimson red at being caught and ran off towards sister Lovely!
