Part 5:

It had been a week since Kripa had come to school and there wasn't a single day when Kripa was spared by Angad and his friends. She was the victim of their daily pranks. She had learned to move on and ignore them. She was happy that she had one more day left. She had made exactly two friends in that one week, Kanya and Bani. Well Kanya didn't really count since Kripa knew her from before but she was her friend. Kripa was extremely happy because, hopefully, one more person would get added to her friends list today. Mr. Walters, the chemistry professor, was assigning each student a lab partner. The pair would do all experiments and projects together, for the entire school year.

She sat quietly while Angad's troop's blabbering continued as usual. The class was into pin-drop silence once the teacher walked in. He took out the paper with the names of the pairs and started announcing the pairs. Bani and Kanya squealed when they were paired together. Kripa was getting nervous as the names of the people were being called out. So far, the people who were paired were the people she hoped to be partners with. She let out a loud groan when she was announced partners with, none other than, Angad. Angad: the last person on earth she would want to be partners with.

Mr. Walters: Alright…our first experiment will be today itself.

The class was too busy talking in their own private groups. Now the teacher was really annoyed.

Mr. Walters: THAT'S IT! BE QUIET!!!!!!!! I made a mistake by letting you sit where you wanted…not anymore…everyone…sit with your lab partner from now on. Who doesn't want to can serve me their lunch hour and three hours after school for detention.

Everyone got around and sat with their partner mumbling and cursing the teacher. Kripa stiffened and got herself ready for another hour of torture. To her luck and surprise, he didn't say a word to her. Once the teacher explained what to do for the experiment, all students dispersed to their respective lab stations.

Kripa mumbled in anger as she wiped another beaker and put it away. She had just put that one away when Angad handed her another one.

Angad: get used to it aunty ji! You are my lab partner…and this stuff will happen pretty often….

Kripa: well it better not! I don't want to spend two hours of my day here with you because of your stupidity.

Yes, stupidity. During the experiment, they were heating a beaker on a hot plate. Angad had picked up the hot beaker without any safety equipment. It was so hot that it slipped out of his hand, spilling some of the acid on his hand. And because of the stupid act by the pair, they were given a two hour detention which they would be spending washing laboratory equipment.

Angad: It's not my fault…you never told me it was hot.

Kripa: who the heck doesn't know that a beaker on a hot plate, a hot plate that is ON, ISN'T GOING TO BE HOT???

Angad: I didn't know it was on…

Kripa: you are the one who turned it on…seriously!! What on earth is wrong with you?

Angad: something is wrong with you!!! You didn't need to tell Walters that I burnt myself!

Kripa: well Mr. Know-it-all…you had burned yourself with acid as well…you should be thanking me for telling the teacher.

Angad: listen Ms.Chipkali..

Kripa: Don't call me that!

Angad: and what if I do?

Kripa: I'll……I'll……ARGH! I don't know!! God…I hate you….you are the most annoying creature I have ever come across

Angad(yelling while Kripa walked away): and you are the most chipkali-ish girl I've ever seen!

Kripa walked into her dorm, also shared by Bani and Kanya, and screamed.

Kripa: AHHHH!!! It's done!! Its over!!

Kanya: not so fast…there are still 6 more hours left!

Kripa: oh come on!!

Bani: what's going on guys?

Kanya told her everything making Bani laugh until her stomach hurt.

Kripa: you know Bani…you're not helping!

Bani: I know but…it just so funny….

Kripa(sarcastically): yea…it's so funny that I'm dying of laughter!

Bani: you're dying?? Should I call an ambulance??

Kripa(hitting bani with a pillow): shut up!

Bani took the pillow and threw it back at Kripa. Kripa bent down which caused Kanya to be the victim of the pillow. In no time, the girls had engaged themselves into a pillow fight.

Next Morning:

Angad stood leaning against his locker, messing around with his iPod. He was early that morning since he needed Kripa's help with the lab report. He was about to look up and leave when he noticed a beautiful pair of legs accompanied by cute looking feet in strapped heels. His eyes slowly averted up scanning the pink miniskirt followed by a white tank top. The next thing he noticed was a set of kissable lips, a thin-long-perfectly-shaped nose, beautiful and expressive hazel eyes. He had never seen her before, man was she beautiful. She raised her eyebrow at him and signaled him to move out of her way. He was so busy staring at her, he didt notice that she was going to Kripa's locker. She exchanged her books, closed the locker, and turned around to leave when Angad extended his hand.

Angad: Hi! Angad Khanna!

She simply rolled her eyes and walked away. Angad got the shock of his life when someone called out "Kripa" from behind and she turned around to respond.

Angad(thinking to himself): no way!!!!!!!!

She gasped and ran past Angad, jumping onto a guy. The guy embraced her and twirled her around. "Who the heck is that?", Angad thought.

Kripa: Oh My God Krish!! Finally you're here!!

Angad(thinking to himself): Krish…hmm..seems like her boyfriend…but even then….no way this is Kripa…kahan Kripa the chipkali aur kahan yeh…..damn she is so hot!

She left while talking to krish, arm-in-arm. Angad smiled to himself and walked after them. He caught up to Kripa near the cafeteria.

Angad: um…Kripa??

Kripa(turned around): yea?

Angad: are you busy?? I sort of needed help with the lab

Kripa: um..sure…um..krish…is it okay if I catch you later?

Krish: perfectly fine with me…just think over what I said(winked)

Kripa: don't worry…I will (hugged him) I'll catch you later

Krish(kissed her cheek): alright…take care..

Krish turned around and disappeared into the cafeteria while Kripa turned around to a not-very-happy-looking Angad.

Kripa: um…shall we??

Angad(cleared his throat): sure..

Angad and Kripa walked towards the library silently until Angad opened his mouth.

Angad: so? Boyfriend?

Kripa(confused):what?

Angad: Krish….your boyfriend??

Kripa: Its not necessary that a girl and a boy always have the girlfriend-boyfriend relationship…

Angad: I know…just being curious…

Kripa: no..we're just really good friends…

Angad didn't know why but he felt happy. The fact that she wasn't krish's girlfriend made him happy.

Angad: okay…if not krish's girlfriend…than someone else's?

Kripa: wow…what's the matter…how come your behaviour is so different today?

Angad: even you have changed quite much.

Kripa: Who said?? I was always like this…and why should I change for other people?? Just so people like you talk to me?

Angad: what do you mean?

Kripa: oh come on…don't pretend! The only reason why you'Re talking to me so nicely is because im not dressed like a behen-ji….sorry…what was it? Oh yea….Aunty Ji! Until I was an "aunty-ji" you didn't spare me one day without making me fun of me or pranking me…and today…you yourself have come to talk to me…I mean..if I chose my friends by looking at the way they dress, I would be friends with 1 out of a 1000 people….you know…I ever understand why people always look at the outside of a person….isnt it the inside that matters?? And I know you came forward to talk to me because im dressed in modern clothes, the way you like girls to dress…am I right?

Angad: you know what? I don't know why…but I'll tell you the truth…you are absolutely correct.

AHH!!! lol ahahaha thats soo cute lol i kinda guessed this was gonna happen!! i just checked like 5 minutes ago if u had posted but u ahdnt:( and htne i checked again im like maybe she posted now:S lol aahhaha:P i wasss despratly wanting to read this! as well as ur orhter story:) but im soo glad i got the chance to right now! i really thought u would conitnue last weekend again but u didnt:( but im glad u did now.. do u know when u'll be updating anyof ur stories again??
