PART 12

Jai watched her while she told the story. She had a faint smile on her face everytime she took his name. He smiled watching her...she told him about the first time she dealt with a patient's death and how Armaan was the only one there for her, sending his ex-girlfriends to him as a joke, their infamous salsa dance, their first date at the movies with everyone else there, their phone conversations, Minnie, when she found out about the Navratri bet...

J: Kya? Armaan aur Anjali ke beech bet thi? Yeh Anjali bhi na...paagal hai. Toh tumne kya kiya?
R: Di ko toh maine maaf kardiya. Lekin maine Armaan ko maaf nahi kiya. Infact, woh poori raat barsaat mein bheegta raha. Hamare kamre ke bahar.
J: God, Riddhima. Paagal ho gayi ho kya?
R: Jai, shayad tum bhool rahe ho ke yeh sab purani baatein hain.
J: Oh haan, ok continue. Lekin, mein ye baat zaroor kahunga ke tum ek badi naatak baaz ho. Obviously woh tumhe pyaar karta tha. Tumhe dikhai nahi diya? Phir bhi koi baat nahi, continue.

She told him about Karva Chauth.

J: Riddhima, usne Karva Chauth ka vrat rakha. Tumhare liye. Aur phir bhi tumhe samaj mein nahi aya ke woh tumse pyar karta hai? Tum paagal ho?! Koi mental beemari hai kya? 😆
R: Aggar tum beech beech mein mujhe tok te rahe na toh mein kahani nahi sunaungi!

Riddhima told Jai about their time in Lonavla together. And then she told him one of the most distressing parts of their love story-when she found out she was adopted.

R: Tumhe shayad pataa nahi Jai, lekin mein adopted hoon.

Jai looked up at her with the most serious face. He looked like he had seen a ghost and was slowly turning pale.

J: (completely shocked) Yeh tum kya kehrahi ho?
R: Haan Jai, mere mom aur dad koi aur hai. Meri maa se tum mil chuke ho. Nurse Padma? Papa ne mujhe unse godh liya tha.
J: Oh my God.

Jai stood up because he was unable to handle so many shocks at once. He needed air. He needed to move around. First he found out that his best friend is in love and then this. It was too much. He stood up and went and stood by the window, with his hands in his pockets. He stood their silently for a few minutes and let the news sink in. Then he wondered...

J: Lekin ise Armaan ka kya taaluk?
R: Armaan ko iske baare mein pata tha.
J: (turning around) Kya? Use kaise...
R: Woh sab mujhe pata nahi. Mujhe to laga tha ke Anjali adopted hai. Lekin, Papa ne kaha ke mein adopted hoon. Jab mujhe iske baare mein pata chala, toh najaane kyun, mein usi ke paas gayi. Wahan usne mujhe kaha tha ke use sab maaloom tha.

Jai walked back. He knew that she was going to cry.

R: (teary eyed) Tumhe pata nahi hai Jai. I lost faith in everything. Sab kuch mujhe jootha lagne laga. Aisa laga tha ke kisi ne mere neeche se zameen hi keech li. Har rishta...sab jhoot. Sab pe vishwaas hi ooth gaya. Un dino tumhari bahut yaad atithi.

Jai tried to lighten the moment.

J: (smiling) Aisa hi hota hai. Sabhi ko meri yaad ati hai jab woh musibat mein ghere hue hote hai. Lekin Ridu, tujhe toh pata hona chahiye ke Shashank Uncle tumse kitna pyaar karte hain.
R: (smiling and wiping her tears) Haan, pata hai. It took me some time, but I finally realized ke mere papa toh wahi hai. Aur koi unki jagaa nahi le sakta.

Jai took in a deep breath. He was still trying his hardest to grasp this reality.

J: Continue. Lekin please. Mera heart toda weak hai. Is liye aggar koi aur surprises ho, toh mujhe abhi batado.
R: Nahi, aisi koi baat nahi. Lekin haan, mera rustication Sanjeevani se hua tha.
J: Kya?! Abhi toh tumne kaha tha ke koi surprises nahi hai! Toh ye kya hai?!
R: Oh God! Tum please!
J: Achcha theek hai. Batao.

Riddhima explained the whole Anjali/proponol situation to Jai. Poor Jai, he was in the process of facing another shock.

LOL Jai is getting shock after shock!!! This was quite boring but he has to figure out the story somehow! Plus, you're getting a bit of Riddhima's background...

edited.. haha just finished reading it.. and no yaar it wasnt boring at all.... we're just getting ridhima's side of the story and how she felt about all of the things that happened in her life.. so thats good... (and thats also something they should show in DMG soon😆)

hopefully jai doesnt get a heartattack after all these shocks you are giving him hahahahhahaahha...

PART 13

Jai listened carefully to Riddhima talking about what had happened. She told him how she took Anjali's blame on herself and how she was suspended from the hospital.

J: Riddhima yeh tumne theek nahi kiya. Tumhe pata hai ke shayad tum aaj, isi waqt doctor kehlaane ke kaabil nahi hoti. Aggar un logo ne tumhe doctor nahi banne diya toh? Anjali should've been suspended.
R: Chodo, yeh sab puraani baatein hai.
J: Nahi Riddhima, kya tum mujhe bata sakti ho ke yeh tumne kyun kiya?

Riddhima remained silent.

J: (angry) Tum badi filmi ho Riddhima. Uncle ka karz chukane, right? Isi liye tumne itni badi bewakoofi ki. Yeh film nahi hai Riddhima! Yeh zindagi hai! Haqueeqat hai! Sometime mujhe lagta hai ke tum sochti nahi ho!
R: Mujhe ye sab pata nahi. Tum kyun gussa ho rahe ho? Yeh puraani baatein hai.
J: Zaroor puraani hai, lekin Bhagwan ke liye aisi bewakoofi abse kabhi mat karna! Anjali shayad ek achchi doctor hai, lekin usko bachchane mein tumne use weak kiya. Shes weak. Next time, will she know what to do in an emergency? No.

Jai stood up and shook his head at Riddhima.

J: (frustrated and visibly angry) Its a good thing tum mujhe yeh sab bata rahi ho. Samaj nahi ah raha ke ab tumhe kaha kaha protect karoon? Achcha hua ke mein wapas agaya. Apni zindagi ka kya haal bana ke rak diya?! Apne career ka..apne pyaar ka.

Riddhima sat there for sometime while Jai cooled his head. She knew that it took a lot to get Jai mad, and she had done it. She had done the impossible. But at the same time, she was happy because she knew that he cared. With a deep breath, she continued with the story.

R: Armaan ko pata chal gaya thha. And he yelled at me. Lekin, Di ko musibat se bachchane ke liye, I took the blame. Aur maine VIVA bhi diya. Aur pass ho gayi.
J: Shukar hai Bhagwan ka.

Riddhima told him about Nana and the entire Heer Ranjha play. She also told him that Armaan had feelings for her and after the play he asked her if she had any for him but she said...

J: Let me guess. Tumne "naa" kaha hoga? Right? Even though tumhe pata tha ke tum use bahut pyaar karti ho, tumhe aisa laga ke shayad woh tumhare layak nahi hain, ya phir tumhare career pe asar pard sakta hai, ya phir and Im sure that its this one, woh shart tumhe yaad agayi. Apni hi pair pe khuladhi marli tumne, hai na?
R: Lekin tum upset kyun ho?
J: Kyunki Riddhima, tum bewakoofi pe bewakoofi karti ja rahi ho! Aur aage bhi karogi agar maine tumhe abhi nahi roka toh!

She knew that he was already upset but she went on to tell him about how they decided to make each other angry. And after she told him about acting like she was raped, and how Armaan came into her room the same night to teach her a lesson, Jai was livid.

J: Mein iske baare mein baat bhi nahi karna chata. Aage bado. I will act like I never heard that from you. Tumhare alfaaz maine kabhi sune hi nahi thhe.

Riddhima was so tense at seeing Jai like this that she swallowed hard and went on telling the story. She told him that they were sent to Lonavla and how she accused Armaan of taking advantage of her...

Pretty stressful stuff, huh? Jai is very upset right now and he has every right to be...lets see what happens...

oh mann now ur just torturing us with the shocks jai is getting and ridhima ki dukh bhari daastaan 😆 very good update though 😉 now please bring armaan in too yaar!!!
