Chapter: 5 (Cross Over episode)

Ranbir could not see Kanya in that stage. She looked fragile and light. He tried to wake her up but all his efforts failed. Ayan who was driving by at that time saw the crowd. He got a little curious and got out to see what exactly happened and was shocked to see kanya brutally hurt and ranbir looking stressed and confused not knowing what to do. He immediately rushes to help Ranbir.

Ayan: Chachooo… Kanya ko kya hua. Ye sab kaise.

Ranbir: Badh mein batata hoon. Ab pehle kanya ko lekar hospital chalte hai.

Ayan: haan chachoo… chaliye… mein gaadi park karke aata hoon.

Ranbir was about to sit in the drivers seat. But Ayan insisted that he drive the car since ranbir looked tensed and worried. So ranbir offered ayan the keys and went to the back seat where kanya was lying down. He gently lifted her head and placed it on his lap, crying and looking tensed he tried to wipe the blood stains of her head and gently caressed her onto his chest. He locked his hands with kanya not wanting to leave her even for a moment. He felt very bitter for having hurt her intentions and feelings and all through his journey he was repenting. He touched her wet cheeks and realized that she had cried thinking she lost Ranbir for ever. E gently kissed her tears and held her close to him. Ayan noticed that ranbir was too tensed and he had never seen his chachoo in this state before. They reached Sanjeevni and Dr. Arman who was Ranbir's best friend decided to assist him and help him throughout the process.

Dr. Arman: Ranbir Tum aaram karlo. Tum kaafi tensed ho. Mein Ayan se formalities complete kar leta hoon. Ranbir .. have confidence…. Be brave… kanya ko kuch nahin hogi. Hum hain na. Woh Teekh ho jayegi. Woh tumhe chodkar kahin nahin jayegi.

Ayan provided Dr. Arman with all the necessary information…Ayan …. Ranbir ko Sambhalo. Woh Kaafi disturbed hai. Usko is waqt support chahiye.

At the restaurant. Guru and three musketeers are happily sipping a coffee.

Pooja: ab tak in donon ka phone nahin aaya. Chal mein kanya ko phone karti hoon.

GURU: tere ko akal nahin hai kya. Miya biwi ko thoda romance karne do….. baad mein phone kar lete hai.

Aditya's phone starts ringing…..

Aditya: Hello…. Haan ayan bolo kya baat hai….Kyaaaaa….Kab….Hum abhi aa rahe hai….ranbir ko zara sambhalo. Hum abhi aa rahe hai.

Aditya and all of them rush to Sanjeevani. Pooja calls Pammi and Anand and Aditya calls Mallika and Big D to rush to the hospital.

At the hospital Dr. Ridhima looks tensed and comes towards arman.

Dr. Ridhima: Arman…Ek problem hai… (s he takes him aside and whispers in a low tone) Dr. Shubang medical camp pe gaye hai … Woh kal hi ayenge …. Aur papa medical conference attend karne ke liye US gaye hai…. Ye kaafi complicated surgery hai Armaan. Internal bleeding bhi bad rahe hai…. Chances bahut kam hai Armaan. Experts chahiye is surgery ke liye. Aur humare paas koyi bhi nahin.

Arman: Tum kya ho… Expert doctor hi to ho … Tum attend kar is surgery ko…Dekh Abhi humare paas waqt nahin hai. Isi waqt hum is surgery par kaam karna hai.

Ridhima: Pagal ho gaye ho kya. Yeh kaafi complicated case hai. Sir par bahut gehra chot aaya hai. Internal bleeding bhi bad rahe hai… Aur hum sirf interns hai. Agar kal kuch gadbad ho gaya na to …. Yeh ranbir nanda hai aur woh Kanya nanda… Yeh case koi mazak nahin hai….

Dr. mehra: Kyun Dr. Ridhima… Kyun dar rahi ho…. You have the capabilities. Tum kar sakti ho… tum mere saath operation theatre chalogi aur is case mein assist Karogi… Aur armaaan tum bhi.

Armann: Mein … par lekin meinn…to

Ridhimma: Tumne mujhe phasaya na.. ab tum bhi phas jao… chalo jaate hai….

Everyone reached the hospital. Ranbir is sitting with Mallika holding his hand tightly like a kid holding his mother's hand. Every second feels like a day for Ranbir… he looked tensed, confused, lost, scared and a feeling of mixed emotions was running throughout his body. The surgery goes on for nearly 3 hours and later the doctors come out and tell that the surgery was successful and she is out of danger. Everyone look relieved and ranbir just could not see her in that state. He blames himself for Kanya's state. Mallika tries too handle him and takes him outside for some fresh air.. 2 hours later Kanya regains her consciousness and ranbir is unaware of this because he is sitting outside with mallika for some fresh air.

Pooja comes out running and tells ranbir that kanya regained consciousness. Everyone rush inside to see kanya but ranbir feels a little scared to face her and walks very slowly.

Everyone are surrounding Kanya and looking at her. Kanya slowing opens her eyes and looks at everyone without any reactions. She looks at pammi, anand, mallika, aditya, shantu, pooja and guru but does not react seeing any one of them. Instead she looks scared looking at each one of them. Pammi sits next to her but kanya moves away from her…Her eyes searchs for something familiar and more important to her life….Pammi tries to talk to her…. But kanya shrugs away and asked them the most shocking question of their lives… "Ap kaun hai"… Aap sab log kaun hai aur mein kahan hoon… they realized that she forgot her own name as well.

Ranbir walks into the ward and looks at everyone's worried expression. He walks towards kanya.

Kanya sees ranbir and she found the familiar and the most important person she was searching for. She found her ranbir and was not willing to sacrifice him for anyone. She hugs him passionately and cries her heart out. Ranbir hugs her back and felt memorable to have her back in his life… he was not willing to leave her even for a moment and she was the most important person to him in his life.

Kanya: ranbir… tum aa gaye ho… mein bahut dar gayi thi…. Tum mujhe chod kar nahin jaoge na…. please mujhe bahut dar lagta hai… mujhe akele mat chodna… mein mar jaaungi tere bina… yeh log kaun hai… mein inhe janti tak nahin…. Tum inhe jante ho kya?

Ranbir looks shocked listening to kanya. She was getting hysterical and obsessive after seeing ranbir… he knew something was wrong but not sure exactly what happened to Kanya following the accident. Later she fell asleep and slept on ranbir's arms because of the medicines that were reacting on her body.

Dr. mehra, ridhima and arman who watched this knew what kind of a mental state kanya was in.

Dr. Mehra: mr ranbir nanda hum aap se kuch baath karna chahte hai. Please aap mere office aa jayi ye.

Everyone left kanya's ward to the corridor. Ranbir slowly lifted her head of his shoulders and placed her on the bed. He kissed her forehead and decided to leave. But kanya held to his hand very tight not wanting to leave him. With a smile on his face he slowly loosened her limbs and walked to Dr. Mehra's office. Aditya and pooja accompanied him as well.

At dr. Mehra's office:

Dr. Mehra: Mr Ranbir nanda… kanya ki mental state aur reports ko analyze karne ke baad hame pata chal gaya hai ki kanya ko ek different type of amnesia hai. Woh sab kuch bhool chuki hai. Apne maa, baap, behen, saas sabko. Par lekin woh sirf is duniya mein appko pehchanti hai. Ranbir nanda ko pehchanti hai… kyun ki yeh accident hote waqt uski dimag aur dil mein sirf aapka naam aur aapka chehra tha. Isliye woh sirf aapko janti hai aur aapke bina uski situation unpredictable hai. She is obsessive about you and unpredictable without you. You are her strength, support and her medicine. Since she knows only you woh duniya ko aapke nazaron se dekhti hai. woh apke attention paane ki koshish karegi. Agar woh apko kisi aur ke saath dekhegi to woh apne aapko nuksan pahuncha sakti hai.. agar app kisi office ke silsiley mein bahar gaye to woh depression mein jaa sakthi hai. I know yeh mushkil hai… lekin aap uske saath 24 hours rehna padega.

Ranbir: mein zaroor rahoongi uske saath. Bahut paisa kama liya . Lekin mein usko pyar kbhi nahin kiya. Ab Kanya is my responsibility. (later thinking about kanya's parents and their fate) Par doctor kya ho teekh ho jayegi.

Dr. Mehra: Haan kyun nahin. Woh zaroor teekh ho jaye gi. Bas thoda waqt lagega. Don't strain her brain too much.

After all the three musketeers leave dr. mehra calls ranbir…

Dr. Mehra: Ranbir uski yaddhash wapas ayegi aur woh apne pariwar walon ko zaroor pehchanegi… par lekin uske baad woh aapko nahin pehchanegi. (FREEZE on Ranbir's face)

she recognizes only him now but not her other family members. But if she gets her memory back she might not recognize ranbir.

I know it is not fair on Ranbir. But still anyway. Do wait to see what happens next. Hope I don't disappoint ranya fans.
