-Malika leaves Kanya in Shimla and returns for few days.
-Ranbir comes to Shimla.
-They bump into each other.

Kanya can't believe this is happening! Why is this happening to her?? She storms into the library, very angry. She hates him!!! why did he have to touch her or look at her...or talk to her. Her heart jumped at the sight of him today. She was praying she wouldn't do something stupid like throw herself into his arms and say I love you, I love you, I love you.
K: It's ok!! [deep breath] I will just work and not think about him at all. [she looks around at the messy libraray] Yeh accha hai. This is really good.
She starts sorting out the books on the bottom and middle shelf. Since she can't reach for the top shelf she gets on a ladder to fix it.
Ranbir comes in.
R: [she is on the ladder!! his 1st instinct is to the scare her and catch her if she falls but he shouldn't touch her] Uhhm Uhhm {coughs}
She goes still.
R: yaha pe kuch blueprints the. I kind of need those.
K: [gets down and hands him the blueprints from the drawer]
R: Thanks [turns to leave then stops] tumne lunch kiya hai?
K: [shakes her head]
R: Mere saath karogi? I don't like eating alone.
[ She really wants to say yes but she is trying so hard to forget him. And spending a second with him undos everything]
K: mujhe bohut saare kaam hain yaha. Sorry!!
R: [looks around] Ok..[he leaves]
She goes back to work. Few minutes later Ranbir comes back with two plates. And two water bottles.
K: yeh kya hai?
R: My god! Tumhari aankhen abh tak thik nahi huyi. Yeh Hamare lunch hai. [gives her a smile]
K: huh?? [still confused]
Ranbir sets the plate by the windows] Y
R: yeh sandwich hai, made by the great chef Ranbir. [takes a bow]
K: [she comes sits by the windows] Tum Khana banate ho? [surprised]
R: Nahi. But socha tumhari liye itna to zaroor kar sakta hoon. [gives her a sexy sly smile]
K: [laughs and starts] mmMmm. It's actually good!!
R: [looks at her in a very sexy way, One eye slightly closed] Thank you. It's my 1st time.
He gets up to look for something.
K: Kuch dhoond rahe ho?
R: Uh huh.
K: Kya?
R: Just wait. [he finds some old music records and he puts it on] Kitne romantic jyaga hai. A old, dirty library. To kyon na some music ho jaye.
K: Di ne kabhi bataya nahi, you are so funny! She should've told me.
R: [questioning glance, raised eyebrow] kya kya jante ho meri baare mein?
K: Ke tum bohut khadus ho. Kisika feelings ka koi parwa nahi hain. Sirf kaam ki sochte ho..aur..[looks at him]
R: [laughs] Can I have a dance? [he pulls her hand gently]
K: [starts giggling] tum bilkul pagal ho..
They start dancing to

He spins her around.
K: [laughing] tum dance bhi karte ho?
R: woh bhi usually nahi karta hoon. But felt like dancing with you.
K: you are good!! Pichle baar I was dancing with a guy stupid stepped on my toe.
R: Last time I danced it was in a masqurade ball. Woh bhi ek anjaan ladki ke saath , balcony ke upar. She had no shoes on so thank god my toes are still safe.
K: [stops smiling]
R: kya hua? phir per mein dard to nahi huyi?
K: [smiles] nahi.
R: Thank god! You can't always expect me to pick you up. Thora bhari ho.
K: Main bilkul bhari nahi hoon.
R: [smiles]
He starts singing

ikraar hua
hai Pyaar se phir kyoon darrta hai dil
His fingers are locked with hers. And his arm is around her waist.
Kanya doesn't sing but the female voice in the record sings
Kehta hai dil rasta mushkil Maaloom nahin hai kahan manzil [Kanya thinks kitna saach hai]
R: Tumne Kabhi kisise pyar kiya hai?
K: Huh? [taken back by the question]
R: Did you ever love someone?
K: tumne kiya hai?
R: [nods] Abhi bhi karta hoon
K: [swallows hard] Bohut?
R: Bohut. [whispers] Woh roz mere sapno mein aati hain. Main har din haar raat uski baare mein soch ta hoon. You know sometimes I think I will go mad. [thinking about the girl he danced with that night]
K: to shaadi kyon nahi karlete? [getting jealous and trying to hold her tears back. How can he love Rema so much?]
R: I will. I will never marry anoyone else but her.
It starts raining and the windows are open. Ranbir goes to close it.
K: [wipes her tears off while he is closing them]
R: [he turns back]
K: Thanks you for the great lunch!! I have to get back to work.
R: I will help.
K: No! [says quickly] Tum yaha rahoge to mujhe disturb hogi. So please go.
R: Par...
K: Please.
R: Ok! As you wish. [leaves]
Kanya sits on the edge of a old tea table and wipes her tears off. She has done it again. She has fallen in love with him all over again for the third time. How can she fall for the same guy so many times???
