PART 7

the marriage preparations were going on really strongly and fastly and to make matter worse sujal wasn't cooperating a bit...

"Sujal you could at least stay at home.....why do you need to go to office??"

"mamma i am taking off on Friday and Saturday...isn't that enough??? and look tommorow is friday...just bear me today mom..."Sujal gave a cute smile and pleaded veena to allow him to go to work.....

veena saw the desperate look that sujal was giving her and finally allowed him...Sujal marched happily off to office....

In kashish's house the scene was completely different....vasu,mehak and charu were irritated that kashish was trying to help them....

"di cant you rest it......its your marriage you shuld be letting others pamper you....and...you are making our lives miserable...."Charu literally shouted....

Kashish sighed and dejected left for her room.....She lay on the bed and thought about the happiness that this marriage had bought in their house...after so many days, weeks,months....everybody was happy...her mom dad charu and mehak....She was also happy.....finally she was settling down in life...though with someone she hardly knew but with someone....whose love kindness and caring attitude she had heard about....

Kashish got up fom the bed and from her sidetable took out Sujal's photograph...Rishi had given it to her when he had come to help with preparations...Kashish kept looking at the photograph...there was something diffrnt about this man.....this man who was now going to be her husband...who had a kind and a caring face....kashish passed a had over the photograph....

"hmm.....romantic....good..."

kashish turned around surprised to see her best friend Akshat standing there...She rushed to hug him....aS they embraced each other...kashish finally felt all her family was here...she knew akshat was missing.....he had been in school with her...completed with her his graduation and then had gone to london for law....he was charu's boyfriend also ....

"akshat you jerk.....(slightly hitting him on the arm)....why did you come so late..."

"oooh!!! kashish that hurts....(snatching sujal's photo from kashishs hand and looking at it)...anyways dosen't look like you missed me......"

"well you seem to have a high opinion of yourself.......not even an ant misses you.."kashish and akshat turned around to see charu who was fuming....

"oh charu darling....baby.....how right....just like ants never miss me.....nobody does miss you....now buzz off..."Akshat slammed the door shut on Charu's face.....

Akshat came to kashish and sat next to her on the bed and took her hands in his......

"now kashish...time for some serious talk..."

"serious talk??" kashish asked surprised....

"yes....are you happy with this marriage???"

"what do you mean??"

"i mean you don't even know...."

"yes akshat i am pretty much happy......i have given it a lot of thought and i think its absolutely right....plus everybody else is happy....after what happened in the past i could have never moved in life..."

" know....but what if he comes to know about it.....have you considered telling all this to sujal??"

"yes i did.....but mehak made me promise i wont....after thinking...i think i will just carry on with the marriage maybe...he will forget me once i am married....."

Akshat looked at kashish....for the first time he was seeing kashish behave bravely....otherwise after her past everybody and anybody would have expected her to take a back seat from life....

"nyways i am proud of you.......and madam....why don't you rest afterall just three days are left for marriage..."

"yes sir..."kashish smiled and embraced akshat again happy that he understood her....

Sorry people no sujal today... but promise he will be there tomm... with the WEDDING NIGHT DELIMMA!!

It was the night before the marriage....Sujal was sitting with his friends...Angad and Karan....married to kripa and gauri..

"so tushaar isn't going to make it??"

"no.....he has some urgent business to attend in london..probalbly a girl....u know i think he has fallen for sindura.."

"so sujal what are your plans for tomorrow night..."angad asked....

Sujal looked up from the file he was reading...."what plans??"

"come on sujal its your wedding night....your first night with kashish....you must have thought about it...."

Sujal kept the file down....He hadnt given a thought to their wedding night....their first night together...

Just then Kripa n Gauri entered the room calling angad and karan for some work....Sujal heard them mutter "wives" and left the room ......

Sujal stared at the empty room and thought...tomorrow kashish was going to be here with him....his eyes glanced at the bed.. tomorrow kashish would be there in his bed with him.....would they make love??...sujal shuddered at the thought ofit....he wanted kashish and he knew that...he couldn't say he loved her becoz he hardly knew her...but he knew...he wanted to feel her lips on and under his..

Just as sujal was dreaming about his wedding night kashish was also thinking about it....

what would sujal do?? she knew he was kind and caring....but would he understand that she wasn't ready yet...a man was a man with his needs and wants...she din't expect sujal to not expect anything from her...he probably would expect something from her afterall it was their first night together....their wedding night....when two body and souls met each other to become one.
