RE-CAP: Prem went upstairs after a last look at Mukti who was now laughing at a joke that Rajeev had told her. How he loved that laugh that she had. He smiled at himself & then headed upstairs back to his room where he stopped in the passage/hall way and remembered all his times with Mukti. He didn't know whether he was in LOVE or not but he wanted to find out real soon! He was smiling a lot nowadays. Heading back to his room, he didn't notice Prena standing there watching him.
The following night, everyone in Bajaj house was getting ready for the party. Sneha had told them that the dress code was: white 4 men and a turquoise blue 4 women.
Prena was telling everyone to hurry up seeing as they were taking so long, but longest of all was Mukti. Prem and Rajeev didn't understand why she was taking so long in getting change. As far as Rajeev knew Mukti, she only took bout 15-30 minutes to get change, never this long! Prem was just waiting there hanging bout waiting for everyone to leave. Rajeev, who had enough of waiting for Mukti shouted
R: Mukti, hurry up yaar.
M: wait just give me 5 more mins.
R: 5 MORE MINUTES, 5 MORE MINUTES, MUKTI U SAID THAT 15 MINS AGO! UR JUST BUILDING UP THE MINUTES OVER HERE U KNW THAT. U NEVER TAKE IN THIS LONG GETTING CHANGE, SO WHY R U TAKING SO LONG RIGHT NOW 4……………………………
Just then Mukti came in through the door wearing a gorgeous turquoise (with green design) outfit. The top and skirt was covered (not fully though) with green beads which were sparkling in the light. She wore a simple (but not too flashy) set of earrings and a necklace to match with her dress and had a mix of blue-green bangles. Her hair was curled up and was hung up in a pony tail (u knw guys, how her hair was in Sneha's wedding). Now everyone could see why she took so long in getting change.
Rajeev immediately regretted for shouting at her and Prem was just gob-smacked in the face. Prena and Mr. Bajaj looked at her and smiled at the sight. Mukti came in to the room since she was standing at the door and came in4rnt of Rajeev.
M: so, how do I look?
R: u…………….u look……….. u look wonderful Mukti. Now I know why u took so long
Mukti just laughed and said: can we go now otherwise Sneha would be real mad.
Pr: ha beta, chalo
They all left the house and entered their cars. Mukti went in Prena's car along with Rajeev and Prem. Mukti sat in the on the side next to the window while Prem sat in the drivers seat. He straightened the rear-view mirror in a way that he could see Mukti. Mr. Bajaj sat in the passenger seat next to Prem while Prena and Rajeev sat in the back next to Mukti.
Prem started the car and they were off. Mukti opened the window for some fresh air. The wind blew in her face but she covered it with her hand. 'to bad her hair ain't loose, make a great scenery to look @' thought Prem. He smiled at the thought and carried on driving.
The car entered Gupta Residence and Prem parked the car, while Tushar parked the other one. Everyone came out and entered the house searching for Sneha and Sharad. Finding them, everyone went up2 them. It looked like Basu pariwaar had reached there be4 them and they were talking to Sneha and Sharad. Spotting them, she came forward & asked
S: mamma, u cum now? Why were u taking so long?
R: ask Mukti that question.
S: mukti…………….
She spotted her. Mukti was looking fantastic 2nite she thought. No wonder they were so long. She was looking great.
Sneha hugged Mukti, Rajeev, Prena, Prem and everyone else. Then, they greeted Basu pariwaar.
Throughout the whole part, Prem could not just take his eyes of Mukti. He was looking as though he was love-sick puppy. Girls had come up2 him asking him for a dance, but he declined all of them. He had eyes only 4 Mukti that night. He went up2 her and laid out his hand gesturing for a dance. She happily accepted and took his hand. He took her to the dance floor and they started to dance on their theme song (Kabhie na sukoon aya – happy version). Mukti was twirled in Prem's arms and then pulled in2 a close dance. She went staring in2 his eyes and him in2 hers. Mukti felt something strange happening to her that night but she didn't knw what it was, so she just shook it off. Prem on the other hand knew that he felt something for Mukti and now he was certain that it was LOVE!
The track then changed to the song 'Jo Maangi Khuda Se – male version 4rm the film Saawan'. The 2 stared in2 each others throughout the whole dance.
Two people then walked in through the door. It was Sujal & Kashish. Sneha had invited them becoz they saved Mukti's life. They shook it off, but Sneha made them come, so they agreed.
Mukti saw who came through the door and ran towards them leaving Prem in the middle of the dance floor by himself. She hugged Sujal and then Kashish. After wakening up, she had gotten to know them be4 coming back home 4rm the hospital. She thanked them for saving her life but they said that it was their farz and she was a patient and they a doctor, so they had to do it. It was their duty. Mukti asked them to come and dance since the song had change to a fast-track beat (u people can decide what song they dance to - have no idea on which one). At first they declined, but after some persuading 4rm Mukti, they went. Sujal asked the D-J to change the song to which he did. He (sujal) started dancing to the song 'Ur My Love' 4rm Partner. Kashish and Mukti started laughing at the sight they saw. Sujal pulled Kashish on2 the dance floor and 2gether they both danced to the song. Mukti laughed and smiled as the 2 danced. Finally the song ended and Kashish and Sujal walked up2 Mukti after a round of an applause.
Su: thank u so much Mukti.
M: for what?
Su: for persuading Kashish to come & dance wiv me. She is always in2 her patients and neva has anytime 4 me.
K: that is not true Sujal. I do have time 4 u, its just...........i'm so busy with work.
Su: yeah rite
K:w/e
M: stop arguing u 2.
K: anyways (giving a look 2 Sujal), how r u feeling Mukti? better than be4
M: much more than that. I feel like as if I have been born again. Agle jaanam mein, remind me to thank that Mr. Mithul tekhe.
Sujal & Kashish laughed.
K: tekhe hum tumhe yaad karenge.
The evening continued with the 3 of them talking & laughing away @ things. Prem kept on looking @ Mukti the whole evening. 'She looks so beautiful 2nite. Wish she becums mine soon and that she will.' he thought. Prem walked in between the crowds & walked up2 Mukti to ask her 4 a dance, but Sujal had beat him to it. Taking Mukti's hand, he left wiv her to the dance floor. Prem asked Kashish for a dance to which she happily accepted. The dance was going around in circles (u knw where u have to swap partners). Mukti, Kashish and Sneha changed partners each time. Finally, Prem and Mukti were dancing 2gether again and this time, the song, once again was a slow romantic one. 'Pehla Pehla Pyaar Hain' 4rm the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun played & Prem was looking at Mukti romantically. Prena was noticing all this in a corner and so was Sujal and Kashish. They smiled at themselves as they knew the 2 were in love with one another but they just hadn't realized it yet.
The night went on with Prem and Mukti dancing in each other arms to several songs until it was time to go home. They all left and Mukti thanked Sujal & Kashish 4 coming to the party. They shook it off once again and gave Mukti their adress and asked her to visit them wheneva she felt like it. Mukti thanked them and then they left. Everyone else left as well after saying bye to sneha and sharad. They too left in their cars and went towards home
