There is a moment of silence…as they enter their first hour love breaks the ice.

L: OK! Preeti tell me wats REALY up!!!?

P: sighs

P: ok…yesterday when I came home…

P: my dad wanted to talk to me about this "RISHTA"

L: ooooo who his this unlucky guy?

P: gives her a shut-up look

Preeti meets Adi decides to "hang out." Adi suggests the club…cuz he never has been to one in New York…yea rite lolz.

Abhi asks Dev if he want to go to the club with her.

A: hey Dev! Want to go to the club with me tonight?

D: uh..no thankz….

A: y not?

she tries to do a puppy dog face but she cant move it cuz her face is plastic. So she ends up looking like she just ate bad meatloaf. Haha

Dev tries not laugh but cannot help is so he just lets out a giggle.

D: cuz I think I am doing something with…uh….PREETI! yeah Preeti.

NOTE: Preeti n Dev help each other when abhi is bugging Dev for a date…so its not weird for Dev to say Preeti…..but she always tells him if she is doing anything tonight…just incase…..

A:(smirks) yea…actually Preeti is gone with adi this afternoon…..so I guess ur lil "date" is canceled.

D: with adi? …..where did they go?

A: oh…she didn't tell u?(thinkz: wow that's a first!) well I don't noe!(lair!)

She gives a innocent look….while she is planning on creating a misunderstanding btw them?

D: oh ok….yeah…sure…lets …..go….SIGH

AT THE CLUB….THE SAME NIGHT

(It is really crowded)

D: I think I see a table

A: nods

As they sit down abhi reaches for Dev's hand n squeezes it.

She smiles as she sees all the girlz staring with envy in their eyes (cuz dev is the hottest guy in NYU)

Dev gets uncomfortable n jerks his hand away.

D: (smiles awkwardly) I am going to get a drink ….u want one?

A: yea a HARD pina colada.

He nods n goes to the bar.

D: one pina colada n one coke plz

The bartender nods n leaves to make them, dev turns around to sit on the lil stools u see at the bar side ..sry I don't noe wat its called. J

Voice: V

V: Dev?

Dev turns around n smiles

D: hey josh!

J: yea hey….wat r u doing here? Don't u come here with Preeti? R u alone? Where's Preeti? N if ur not here with Preeti then who…

B4 josh can go on dev interuppts

D: DUDE!!! CHILL!!

After josh "chills" lozl dev conts.

D: I can come here if I want to n NO I am not here with Preeti. I am here with someone else….i don't ALWAYS have to go out with ONLY Preeti.

J: wooooo….now ur the one who needs to chill. ….so who r u here with? (he asks with his eyebrow up)

D: (mutters) abhi

J: huh? I think I am going deaf…I thought u just said "abhi" haha

D: (sighs) no u heard right

J: WAT? R u crazy?

Dev looks down

J: wow…i dont noe wat to say….

N: don't say anything then….so Y r U here?

J: can u keep a secret?

Dev gives him a I-am-ur-bff-n-ur-asking-this-question? Look

J: well love's birthday is coming up n her surprise party is going to be hear

D: ooooooo

After they talk some more they say bye n josh leaves

Dev picks up his drink n goes to abhi.

A: wat took so long HUN?

Dev cringes at the word hun coming out of her mouth…especially for him!

D: it was crowded.

A: ok

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CLUB

Adi: I am so glad u decided to come here with me!

P: (smiles)

Adi: I will go get our drinkz n y don't u find us a table?

P: ok

Preeti starts looking for a table when she hears someone calling her name.

S: PREETI?!

Preeti turns around to see….

P: oh hi abhi!(tries to smile) wat r u doing here?

A: oh me? Hehe well I am here on a DATE.

P: oh really? Wow…who is the LUCKY guy?

The both go where dev is sitting.

A: omg dev! Look who I found?!!

Dev looks up n is surprised.

They both sit down.

S: Preeti there u r! I was looking for u!!

All three look up. N Preeti gets up.

P: oh adi …I found us a table.

He comes n puts his arm around her waist. Preeti is clearly uncomfortable

D: (trying to be nice) hey I am dev Preeti's….friend

Adi smiles seeing devs hand turn into a fist.

Adi: I am Aditya Narayan…..preeti's going to be fianc

A: ADITYA NARAYAN!!! Omg!! Hi i am abhi like ur biggest fan!!

Adi: thankz

They all sit down n chat…well abhi is doing most of the chatting with adi!! No wait…I mean bothering adi!

Adi: Preeti….u want to dance?

P: …….(in her lala land) HUH? Oh I don't noe…

Adi: come one Preeti plzzz?? Hey even dev n abhi will dance right?!

B4 Dev can say anything abhi yells "RIGHT."

Abhi grabs Devs hand n dragz him to the dance floor….i mean leterally dragz him there. Adi does the same thing except he has the sense not to drag his date!
