Part-17

The mentorship camp was three day long. First day was organized to reach the camp area which was almost 15 km from KMA. Everyone had to go there on foot. They were given enough food and water. Their other things were going to reach in the evening along with Major Bhargav and few orderlies. Second day, they had to go in pairs to an obstacle race similar to preparation drill but it could take the entire day as it was longer drill. Third day was competition between all pairs.

Everyone started at 7:00 in the morning. Aalekh- Suriji and Riya-Lolitajee's pair was going on a slower pace. Suriji had decided to go along with Lolitajee in case they run into any problem. Ritu and Dr. Shalini were ahead with their protge but they are also going together. Ritu wanted someone there so she can spared with Huda's blabbering. Major Niar was ahead with Cadet Yudi as he wanted to reach there before everyone. Yudi was cursing his luck as he had paired up with Major Niar. Raj & Gunny had decided to go at last with Pooja & Naina so they can help if any of the other pair gets in trouble. They had all reach their on time. Major Bhargav was there already. He praised Major Niar for being there early and sarcastically commented toward Gunny & Raj that they had reached their last and they were favoring their protges' weaknesses.

The gear was up there already. The camp site was in four different locations. Each camp site had enough place to put two tents, so everyone was paired up. Suriji and Lolitajee were paired up in one site. Major Niar and Dr. Shalini were Paired up in one site. Dr. Ritu and Major Bhargav's tents were on one site and MB had decided that Captain Rajveer and Captain Gunraj's camps will be on one site.

Everyone had set up their tents. Ali had helped Yudi to set up his tent as Major Niar had gone to talk Major Bhargav ordering Yudi to put up tent. Major Bhargav's tent was set up by orderly before they left for the night. Huda set the tent up while Ritu had gone to gather some wood for night along with Shalini. Raj & Gunny had decided to gather wood with Ritu & Shalini while Pooja and Naina had decided to set up tent as they knew how to do that. Naina & Pooja had so much fun with each other. Riya and Aalekh had set up their tent with each other's help. At dinner, everyone was mingling with each other. Major Bhargav and Major Niar were standing with each other at distance from everyone else.

MC- Major Bhargav, mujhe ye samaj main nahi aaya ki aap ne Captain Rajveer aur Captain Gunraj ke tent ek hi jagah pe kyon diye. I mean aap alag bhi to de sakte the.

MB- Aisa karne se mera maksad poora nahi hoga. You just wait and watch my game. I believe in "Divide and conquer" and for my game I need to divide Captain Rajveer and Captain Gunraj in order to gain my goal.

After dinner everyone went to get some rest as they had to wake up exactly 5:00 in the morning, and got ready by 7:00 as the drill was staring at 7:00.

Naina & Pooja decided to sleep in one tent for the night and Raj & Gunny thought it would be a good idea for them as well. Both girls went to sleep and Gunny & Raj were outside the tent talking to each other.

Raj- Ye mentorship camp bhi bahut acha hota hai yaar. My mentor was Colonel Shakti and I had great time during those days. Waise tera mentor kaun tha?

Gunny- Major Bhargav'

Raj(shocked)- What? Poor you! Band baja di hogi usne teri.

Gunny(coolly)- Tujhe kya lagta hai wo mujh se aise hi nafarat karta hai. Us mentorship camp ke baad hi to ye tom & jerry ke race hai mere aur uske beech.

Raj- Kyon aisa kya hua tha?

Gunny- Maine uski band jo bajai thi.

Raj(surprised)- Kaise? I want to hear the full story'

(Flashback:

Gunny was a cadet at NDA. Major Bhargav was Captain at that time. He came to NDA to teach cadets about weapon system and spying strategy. Gunny was always a trouble for Captain Bhargav as he was always up to something which annoyed Bhargav. Bhargav decided to discipline Gunny. He had punished Gunny many times and threw him in solitary confinement for many times but Gunny was a free soul and he didn't care. There was a mentorship camp and Captain Bhargav had decided that he will be Gunny's mentor.

At mentorship camp, Captain Bhargav had irritated Gunny to core and made him do all the arrangements of tents and made him do all the unnecessary exercises. Gunny was annoyed now and he decided that he will teach Captain Bhargav a lesson before the mentorship camp was over.

Last night of the camp, Gunny had mixed sleeping tablet in Bhargav's night tea which he had to prepare for Bhargav. After Bhargav drank that tea, he went into deep slumber.

Gunny waited for few hours and when he knew that everyone was sleep, he dragged Bhargav's sleeping bag nearby to the lake, and he pushed the sleeping bag into the lake on which Bhargav was sleeping. The sleeping bag was built the way of lifeboat so it could stay on water.

In the morning, everyone heard a scream and they came out of their camps running. They saw Captain Bhargav on his sleeping bag and the bag was in middle of the lake floating on water. Bhargav woke up because a bird wept his face with its pee.

Everyone was shocked to react, but the next instant was really funny that none of them could stop laughing. Bhargav tried to step on the bag and he fell in the water and there are ducks around him making noise and he was wrench in water with duck feathers as ducks were trying to lick his face.

He was so embarrassed and angry at Gunny but he couldn't do anything as it was mentorship's last day and there was no evidence that Gunny did it.

Flashback ends.)

Raj was laughing really hard when he heard the story.

Raj(still laughing)- Phir kya hua?

Gunny- Kuch nahi, waise bhi academy se graduate hone main ek saal tha. Mujhe pata tha ki uncle tom meri life hell bana dega aur usne kiya bhi. He arranged spcial punishments for me. He harrased me nearly for three more months aur uske baad uska transfer ho gaya.

Raj- To tu bach gaya warna tujhe graduate nahi hone deta wo.

Gunny- Haan aur uska transfer hua Naina ki wajah se.

Raj(surprised)- Naina ki wajah se? uska aur teri academy ka kya lena dena. Wo to kabhi teri academy main aayi bhi nahi.

Gunny- Batata hu yaar. Maine Naina se net pe kaha tha ki Bhargav mujhe kitna satata hai aur usne apna dimag lagaya.

Raj- Kaise?

Gunny- Do you remember, military board ke vice-president, Major General Veer chaudhary?

Raj- Haan he is the one who takes decision of placing officers in every academy across India.

Gunny- Well he happens to be your & Naina's father's friend aur phir kya Naina ne uncle se baat ki aur emotional blackmail kar ke unko apne confidence main liya. And that's how Captain Bharagv was transferred to another academy.

Raj- Acha lekin teri mulakat phir Bhargav se kab hui?

Gunny- Vidyachal detention center main

Raj- Wahan lekin tu wahan kya kar raha tha?

(Flashback:

Gunny was working on a case of weapon smuggling and he found out that there is a person inside Vidyachal detention center who knows secrets behind this case. Colonel Mishra (Gunny's superior officer) decided that Gunny should go there as detainee and make friends with other detainees and find that person. He sent him on charge of "getting in physical fight with superior officer." He had sent there for three months to behave in discipline. Major Bhargav was unfortunately in charge of the facility that time, and since he saw Gunny as a detainee, he had decided to get revenge on gunny.

Gunny knew MB very well so he decided to have some fun as he was there as a detainee and he hadn't done anything wrong yet. Gunny had working on the case but at every occasion, he had broken rules and regulations in the detention center. He had also made MB's life hell by turning all MB's junior officer against him. Three months were hell for Major Bhargav and when he decided to sack Gunny out of the army, and he complained Colonel Mishra about that but he found out that Gunny was there on a special case and MB was ordered not to do anything to jeopardize the mission. MB was more pissed and he took the matter to the higher authority but when they got to know about the importance of the case, they transferred Major Bhargav instead of taking any action against Gunny.

Flashback ends.)

Raj(laughing)- Yaar tu sach main kitne pange le betha hai Bhargav se.

Gunny- Ye to kuch bhi nahi, bechare ki kismat aisi hai jahan wo aur main saath hote hai, wo nikala jata hai aur yahan pe main nahi lekin ye honor teri biwi Naina karegi.

Raj- I know waise bhi ab usne Naina se panga le hi liya hai to uska anjaam to bhugatana hoga na.

Gunny- Acha baatein bahut hui chal kar so jate hai warna kal subah phir se MB ki gyan ki baatein sun ne ko milegi agar late ho gaye to.

Precap: Gunny & Naina stranded in jungle. Everyone is worried.

I know there are many flashbacks but I wanted this part dedicated to Gunny and Major Bhargav's past history. It was necessary.

Sorry if it was boring but I can't start Raj-Naina love story until I reveal all past that they shared so just be patient and bear with my updates'
