"Hi Maya! This is Sharad. And you are?" She looks towards Rahul.

"Hi, I'm Rahul. Maya's fianc." He leans down to Maya's ear, "It feels kinda good to say that!"

"Shut up!" Maya smiles as she whispers to him. She looks up at Sharad. "Hi, we met at the airport earlier...?"

"Yeah...of course, who wouldn't remember a beautiful girl like you?" Sharad complimented her.

"Ummm...thank-you Sharad." Maya said quietly as he sat down next to Rushvi.

"Were you flirting with my fianc?" Rahul asked Sharad in a threatening tone.

"Um...Maybe." Sharad laughs.

"So...what brought you two to town?" Maya asks.

"We came to visit a friend..." Rushvi answered before Sharad could open his mouth.

"Oh? That's nice...who's your friend?" Maya tries to subtly ask.

"Is there a reason you want to know?" Rushvi asks Maya.

"So while the girls talk, you wanna come with me Sharad?" Rahul says to Sharad.

"Sure." Sharad and Rahul walk to the corner bar stools.

"So Maya, tell me where you met Rahul?" Rushvi tries to pry into Maya.

"Where the hell is Arun? I told him to meet us here!" Maya thinks and then she realizes Rushvi asked her a question. "Oh we met at work. What about you and Sharad?"

"Oh well...that is definitely a story in itself, how long do you have?" Rushvi jokes.

"Oh..I have all day, believe me!" Maya says.

LOL, that Rahul is a pretty funny guy, I liked what he said, as a reader, not so as an older bro. BUT Meera, b happy he starting to grow on me.
