Part 3

Kripa went back into the house and ignored him for the rest of the night she ran upstairs to be alone, "no one will notice me gone anyway," she said as she escaped to her room. She ran in and closed the door behind her and laid on her bed thinking seriously on whether to go or not, when she thought about how excited Aaliya was,

"why should I not just cause of that jerk seriously someone needs to teach him a lesson and what was he telling me about manners doesn't even know how to talk to girls properly" she drifted of to sleep thinking about the night's incident and she was true none of her so called friends noticed her missing, her dad was busy her dadi however did noticed but then thought she was probably somewhere else with her friends.


Two weeks had passed and it was the morning where kripa would be leaving for New York she still had a few weeks before college started but her dad decided it was better for her to get to know the place and do some sightseeing which she agreed to. she was excited but sad to leave her dad and most of all her dadi, her dadi kept on crying as they made their way into the airport, K- dadi don't worry I'll be fine, D- I know but I'm going to miss you, K- I'll miss you to, S- it's time for you to go take care sweetheart he said kissing her forehead, K- bye dad and she left after hugging her dadi, she turned to wave and left for the terminal.

Half an hour later kripa boarded the plane, she sat herself down n her seat lucky for her, her dad got her a first class ticket so she had a seat to herself. Kripa settled her luggage in the overhead compartment and sat down and began to entertain herself with the flight's entertainment program. After a couple of hours lunch was served, she slept for the rest pf the time and woke up just before the plane landed in the night around 6pm.


Kripa got out of her seat took her luggage and rushed out the plane before there was jam of people pushing to get out, she went straight to baggage claim got her suitcases and headed for the exit, kripa looked around till she saw an excited Aaliya walking towards her, kripa smiled and walked up towards her.
Aa- yay your finally here she said while hugging kripa, hope you had a great flight, K- yeah I did thanks, it's good to see you. Aa- come on let's go they both headed out towards the airport and got into a black limo. The two girls chatted the whole way when they pulled up to a huge house with two cars in front of it a black convertible, and a silver porche, Aa- well this is our house, Aaliya dragged kripa inside while the driver took the bags inside.

K- you have a nice house , Aa- thanks but its not better than your she said smiling, K- thanks, Aa- come let me show you your room, K- okay. They went into the guest room, it was big, settling her things in after taking an hour. They both headed out the room, K- which one's your room, Aa- oh sorry I forgot the one right at the end is my dad then it's my room and then its bro's room oh and let me tell you do NOT go into my room or else my bro will go psycho on you she said laughing causing kripa to giggle , "no but seriously he hate anyone going into his room she repeated herself and then its your room, there you go I showed you the whole house now lets go grab dinner" she said as they both walked down towards the kitchen.

K- Your not going to wait for your family, Aa- oh if we wait for them we'll die starving, dad's on a business trip and bro well lets say his hardly home comes around 3 or 4 in the morning , total party animal kripa wasn't surprised. Aa- what would you like?, K- oh anything is fine, Aa- how about I order pizza, K- sounds like plan. Aaliya ordered the pizza which arrived an hour later, they both chatted and watched movie without realizing the time which was now 12pm when they heard the door open, Aa- oh it must be bro, kripa really didn't care she wasn't eager to meet him, Aaliya looked at her watch, Aa- hmm though he is pretty early.

Angad who wore a white men's tank with dark baggy jeans also wearing a white "NYK" hat to the side with his chain dangling walked into the room laughing with another guy. Angad noticed kripa and just rolled her eyes, A- what's for dinner sis, Aa- oh we ordered pizza, hey Raj(eijaz), R- hey aali, and then he turned to kripa R- and you are , Aa- oh this is kripa, R- hey, K- hi she said softly. They both sat down and began to eat.

Aa- bro how come your early, R- Aaliya come one you know your bro, if there's no hot girls then he doesn't' stay, Aa- you guys seriously are shallow, kripa couldn't help but giggle, A- what's miss dork giggling about, Aa- bro don't be so mean gosh, A- sorry mum he teased, Aa- oh shut up.

R- so kripa do you have a boyfriend, Aa- ooohh why Raj are you interested, kripa felt uncomfortable, R- no I was just asking, Aa- well your information she's smart and is not into the whole boyfriend thing at the moment, Angad grinned and said, A- more like the guys aren't into her , Aa- bro seriously that was harsh, K- well I don't see what the girls see in you, whoa did she just say that, why did he always provoke her to retaliate back, Aa- ooh some one got told, Raj and Aaliya both laughed, A- oh shut up both of you he said getting up as he passed kripa he bent low towards her ear and whispered, " you better be careful about what you say who knows you end up falling for me" he said ending it by blowing on her left cheek grinning he walked off with Raj who was in his own world to realize what had just happened and as for Aaliya she had gone into the kitchen to put the plates away.

Kripa on the other hand didn't like his closeness towards her, she wasn't used to attention by guys in this way and she didn't want it from him. Aa- where did those two go, K- huh oh they went upstairs , Aa- oh okay. They continued to chat for a little while longer and then both headed for bed.

Aa- goodnight cya in the morning, K- yep goodnight. And with that they both closed their doors and went to bed. Around 4:30 am kripa woke up, she had become extremely thirsty, she opened her door quietly and crept downstairs into the kitchen, she didn't on the light, she didn't want to make much noise, some how she managed to find the fridge. She opened it looking for something to drink when she found a jug of cold water. "What are you looking for", kripa gasped startled to find angad right in front of her when she turned.
He bent down towards her closing the fridge door blocking kripa in between his arm leaning on the fridge, kripa became scared and uncomfortable she hated the fact angad was so close . A- What were you looking for he repeated himself, K- just something to drink she replied softly. Angad let his arms down and turned around to leave but turned around and said, "Next time don't creep around as if your some thief" turning around to leave.

"phew" kripa said to herself, what was his problem, he was so weird and annoying, might she add arrogant she thought and with that she drank her water and went back to bed falling asleep as soon as she fell on the bed. It was morning the sun shined through the white curtains hitting Kripa's face; she slowly made her way up yawning, she headed for the bathroom which was in the guest room, she brushed, took a shower, put a pair of jeans and a white v-neck long sleeve top and headed downstairs.


Aa- hey kripa, did you sleep well, K- good morning, yeh I did thanks, Aa- come sit and have breakfast help yourself. Kripa sat opposite Aaliya; she looked around and picked the last piece of toast leading it towards her mouth when bam it's snatched away, kripa looks up to find a shirtless angad taking a bite into the toast. Aa- Bro, A- what , Aa- that was Kripa's toast and have some shame go wear a shirt, gosh your so embarrassing, A- Aaliya you know how much I love toast and for your kind information miss kripa over here said it her self she didn't find me hot so there's no need why would she stare right kripa, kripa just ignored him and looked down, Aa- whatever anyway kripa what do you want to do today, K- hmmm well I'm new here ,you decide, Aa- umm okay how about a shopping and then a movie at the cinemas, K- sounds like plan, Aa- great, bro you want to come, A- sorry losers but I'm having party which I rather be at than go with you two he said leaving the kitchen, both Aaliya and kripa rolled their eyes , kripa didn't know how Aaliya lived with that jerk when her thought was interrupted, Aa- okay come on lets go shopping.

They both got up and were dropped off at the mall by her driver, they did a lot of shopping and for a change kripa brought dressier tops on Aaliya persuasion rather than causal, she got a few accessories, she actually felt like a real girl buying accessories.

She actually had fun for change going shopping, she felt like she could tell everything to Aaliya, she was like a sister she never had, it was just that it was so different around here unlike back at home , she smiled and continued to walk and shop. They grabbed a bite and then ice-cream after, it was around five when they went for a movie, they reached the cinemas at 6, they decided to watch "knocked up" with was at 6:30, they got their tickets, brought popcorn and a drink and made their way, they sat at the back waiting for the movie to start while watching previews of upcoming movies when Aaliya nudges kripa, Aa- omgshh that guys staring at you, K-ewww his not my type , Aa- what I thought you said you weren't into guys in that way yet, kripa realized what she had said, she noticed she was changing slowly, Aa- so, K- actually to tell you the truth I don't even know why I said that, Aa- seems like new York's changing you, kripa smiled " maybe" .

the movie begun and ended pretty late, the storyline just dragged on, they got out at 9:30, Aa- d*** that was long movie, K- yeh it was, Aa- come lets go, they were picked up by the driver and dropped home around 10pm, kripa noticed so many car on the road parked in each side as they entered the drive way, as they got out, they were deafened by the loud music they heard. K- Won't your neighbors complain, Aa- on no, next door Mrs. Kapoor she doesn't mind at all, she loves loud music well only Indian, she's a bit filmy she giggled plus she raj's mom", K- oh okay but what about the other side, Aa- on the house is empty, and you can't hear that well from opposite the street well that's what think I mean bro's has parties every week and no ones complained around here.


Aa- seems like the party just started, kripa wasn't to keen into going inside when Aaliya grabbed her, they entered the house, noticing people dancing, guys chugging drinks, competing with each other, where couples were making out, Aa- come on I want you to meet a few people, K- I thought you didn't like parties she said raising her voice, Aa- oh no I hate those business society parties, some are okay it just depends on the people attending, trust me the people over here are real , anyway come I'll make you meet some people .


They walked over to a bunch of people and in no time Aaliya had introduced each and one of them, Aa- where's bro she asked one the girls, G- oh his dancing some where their in the middle, both Aaliya and kripa turned following where the girl's finger was pointing, angad who looked ever so hot wearing a pair of jeans with a black collard dress with thin sliver stripes un tucked and mess with a few buttons unbuttoned with a wet look for his hair shining with his bling, was surrounded by three girls dancing ever so close, Aa- that's bro for you, one's not enough, " what a player, immature guy", kripa said underneath her breath.


When suddenly kripa was dragged to the middle she looked up to find Raj, R-hey come dance with me, K- oh no please I don't like to dance, but she was unheard the music was to loud, Raj spun her around loosing balance kripa pushed straight through the girls and straight into angad , A- if you can't dance then don't dance he said rudely, Kripa just ignores him and walks off, while one of the girls ask, G- who was she, A- who cares, let go enjoy babe, Raj comes up to kripa apologizing, R- oh I'm so sorry , my bad I shouldn't have spun you, and sorry on behalf of angad, K- umm it's okay and she left to go and sit with Aaliya who was busy chatting.

After a few hours Aaliya went to bed so did kripa, but unlike Aaliya who was used to sleeping during party but kripa couldn't the music was too loud for her to sleep, she went downstairs and headed straight for the backyard, she sat herself down in the swing and swung forwards and back inhaling the fresh air , opening her arms enjoying the wind enjoying the peacefulness as she could hear the music faintly, when she heard the back door open she turned to find angad and one of those girls from the three, they all looked at each other, A- come on let's go she's here he said raising his voice, G- who, A- that dork he said pointing to kripa the girl just shrug her shoulders and followed him inside while kripa ignored them thinking " why on the earth was he so mean", " guys, she didn't understand them and frankly she didn't want to if they were like him".

She laid down on the swing and looked up into the blue sky shining with scattered stars, she enjoyed the wind blowing onto her face , she hadn't realized but she had been out there for a long time, she had fallen asleep until she felt rain drops hit her face, they were cold as ice, kripa got up , she always wanted to roam around freely in rain, she loved it and to make it even better to do it in the dark night, but when she asked her " friends" back there if they wanted to do it they nearly had fit screaming, " what a dumb idea", " no way my hair will get wet", " my make up will run", " ewww were going to be all wet and ugly" .

Kripa got up and welcomed the rain but opening her hands skipping here and there spinning around to busy to notice anything, when suddenly she was lifted into the air and thrown over a shoulder she turned to see angad carrying her over his shoulder, that instance she started hitting him with her hands and kicking with her legs, " she didn't want to be touched by that jerk, uh she hated guys, who did they think they were" that's when she kicked a guy's worst place to be hit or kicked and that to hard, angad in pain fell down on to the wet grass with kripa underneath him, both looking at each other intensely, angad with anger while kripa nervousness, a song played loudly the rain from next door through an open window as the rain drenched them both.

Angad finally got up without helping kripa, A- What the heck was that for, I don't know why I listened to Aaliya trying who was trying to find you, kripa finally got up ignoring him she went inside she wasn't going to waste her time with that jerk, when she bumped into Aaliya. K- oh sorry, Aa- where were you, I was looking for you, K- but you were sleeping, Aa- yeh I was thirsty and I saw you door open but you weren't there so… when they heard angad enter who was all wet and in a very bad mood, A- next time go look for your friend yourself he said walking passing Aaliya, evilly looking at kripa. Aa- what's his problem, come lets go you should change before you get sick. They both went upstairs into their own rooms; kripa finally was able to sleep when the party was over which was around 4.


The next day everyone got up late, they didn't do much, angad pretty much had a hangover, where kripa was tired she hardly sleep properly last night and as for Aaliya well she just loved to sleep. Around 7 a few friends of Angad's, (Raj, neeve and prachi). Kripa started to open up a bit more with them, they were actually fun to hang around and seemed like actual friends to have. They decided to watch movies when which lasted till 9ish when Raj spoke, R- man this movie so lame. Let play a game, P- how kiddish, R- well why don't you think of something miss smart a**, P- oh be quiet, N- okay both of you stop it ,P- no one was talking to you Neeve, kripa couldn't help herself giggle she hadn't seen friends fight so cutely before.

A- what's she laughing about, weirdo, K- shut up, why are you so mean, everyone was silent, kripa was surprised with herself this was the first time she stood up for her self in front of others, she didn't regret it, A- because you're so annoying dork, K- well your not so kind , Aa- okay stop it , and bro stop being mean, A- gosh girls I tell you, N tell me about it, P what would you know, I don't see girls after you, N seriously do you just love to but in , I seriously feel sorry for your boyfriends, P well they don't want your pity, N oh they will after they've gone out with you, P shut up she said throwing a pillow at him, Aa- guys your acting like kids.

R (mimicking Aaliya )- " guys your acting like kids, Aa- stop that , it's not funny, R- do you see anyone laughing no, Aa- shut up , R- I didn't say anything, N –great here we go again he said throwing his hands up in the air, P-well Raj started it, Aa- yeh so blame him, R- jeeze I was just playing around, Aa- well go play some where else, R- hey chipkali no one's talking to you, gosh no manners, Aa- WHAT, I'm not a chipkali you monkey , R- ooh now whose being a kid, A- omg can you both shut up seriously you're all being a bunch of kids, R- if were all kids then what are you I mean your hanging with us he said cracking everyone up including kripa, she actually felt in place with everyone here.

A- Be quiet so what are we doing, R- I go an idea , Aa- great Einstein has and idea, Raj rolled his eyes and ignored her, R-anyway I was about to say how about we play like a race game , three teams with two in each, a list of things to do and the first one back here wins, A- sound like fun so whose in whose team, N- whoa hang on one of us will have to be with one of the girls, R- well we'll draw names out of a cup or something, Aa- yeah that's a good idea, R- I know after all I'm Einstein aren't I?, Aaliya just gives him and evil.

Everyone rights there name down and puts it in the cup, N- so who will pick first, P- why don't you go since your so eager to go, N- wow prachi your so smart, what a fantastic idea , seriously no one would have thought you actually had brains. P- hahaha very funny, N- yes it is see your laughing yourself, R- okay stop, hurry up and pick neeve, N- fine I will, neeve picks out a name, R- so who did you get?, N- d*** I must have done something really bad to get prachi, R- hahaha good luck, P- be quiet, great I have to go with this idiot, A- oh stop it, okay go Raj you pick, R- alright, he picks a name out , A- so who is it , R- s*** I picked my self, Aa- idiot, Raj pick again, N- so who's the lucky one huh?, R- god really hates me huh, P- why what happened, R- I got miss chipkali over there, neeve starts to burst out laughing, N- I'll guess you want you luck back you were giving me. Aa- great I'm with Einstein, R- you should consider your self lucky.

A- WHOA wait does that mean I'm with her , R- yep you are, A- wow my fate really bad huh to be stuck with her, K- no I don't want to be with him , can one of us swap, N- oh I would be delighted to swap, R- no that's unfair, Aa- why to scared to be with me, R- I'm not scared of lizards, Aa- shut up she said throwing a pillow but missed, R- hahaha you missed. R- sorry kripa but you'll just have to deal with it for this game, K- okay, A (mimicking kripa)- okay, kripa shot a dirty to which he replied, A- oh don't worry kripa we'll have so much fun he said with a grin on his lips which she didn't like at all.


Aa- whose going to come up with what to do?, R- well since I cam up with the game I come up with the things as well, Aa- whatever hurry up and tell us, R – okay I'll tell you but know interfere he said looking at Aaliya who just rolled her eyes

1. You have to steal something from a shop, without getting caught and bring it back to show and make sure you take a photo

2. You have to go to a grave yard and dig a grave and one of you and one of the two have to lie in while the other takes a photo

3. kiss a random person and make sure you take a photo for proof

4. go to the theme park and go on one of the rides, take a video from your phone for proof

5. sneak into a movie playing at the cinemas and create a scene in front of the screen for 10 minutes make sure your take a video from your phone for proof

6. last but not least get four numbers, two guys and two girls, also with a photo with each.

K- no I don't want to play we are going to get in trouble, A- great I'm so loosing, K- you be quiet, A- make me, Aa- don't start again, but Kripa's right, P- yeh I agree, N- man you girls are such scaredy cats, R- seriously big time, A- 100%, Aa- no were not, R- yes you are , scaredy cat scaredy cat, A- leave Raj and neeve look at my partner's face she's too innocent to do this, kripa couldn't take it anymore, she knew he was challenging her and she would prove herself to that jerk to shut him up for once, K- FINE I'm in, A- whoa you don't have to scream, R- so what about you miss chipkali or are you too scared huh?, Aa- no fine I'm gain, N- what about, are why am I bothering you're the biggest scaredy out of them all, P- shut up neeve I'm so not, N- fine prove it buy play, P- I will she said even though she knew she would regret it.

R- fine you guys ready, come let's go they all ran outside with their partners, angad and kripa went in his black convertible, Raj and Aaliya went in his car where neeve and prachi went in neeves.


Neeve and Prachi

Neeve jumped quickly into his silver BMW, while prachi took her time , N- why don't we just wait for Christmas to play this game, you know today would be nice, P- be quiet neeve gosh your so mean to me ufff your too much she said getting buckling her seat belt and they were off…..

N- oh do you want me to play the world's smallest violin, P- uuh I hate you she said smacking his arm, N- whoa calm down you tiger do you want to get us killed, P- no only you, N- oh hahaha very funny, P- yep that's why I'm laughing , N- whatever now tell me what's first on the list, P- we have to steal something from the shop, N- what's the time, P- 9:30, why?, N- where will we go , P- how about the super market, N- oh how fun let's go steal a potato, P- well I don't see you with an idea, N- I know will go to Westfield , there open till midnight, P- cool.


They reached Westfield, neeve parked the car and they both entered the mall, it was quite empty, P- so what store are we going to steal from, N- sshh gosh bigmouth, P- fine I'm going she turns to leave when neeve grabs her hand and pulls her close holding her shoulders, P- what are you doing neeve leave me I said, N- sshh, he say turning prachi around, N- lets go into Armani Exchange, we'll get a shirt come on, P- ufff your too much, prachi saw the guards at A/X, P- no neeve we'll definitely get caught , N- man I knew you couldn't do it , P- fine gosh I hate you, N- I love you to, P- shut up.

They both walk into A/X , there were around 4 other customers still shopping, they both smiled at assistants , N- okay you ready, P- I guess, N- okay , you steal it and I'll keep the sales people busy, P- what why do I have to steal it , what if I get caught, N- well I guess I should say this now then, well prachi it was nice knowing you even though you can be a pain he said laughing, P- Neeveee she said hitting him, N- ouch prachi stop it , man dw trust me I won't let you get caught now go and give me a signal okay he said leaving taking his phone out ready to take a picture, P- but what signal , too late he had left to keep the sales assistant busy.

Prachi looked around and found a shirt, she was ready now all she had to do was to get neeve attention, but no he was top busy flirting , what was she supposed to do , when she grinned to herself , she took the shirt and ran screaming out loudly as she ran, P- BYE NEEVE THANKS FOR HELPING ME STEAL, neeve and others hearing this he smiled at the assistant and ran for his life taking his phone and getting a quick glimpse of the guards running after them.

They both sprinted down the escalators and into his car, and they were off, N- d*** that was close, and what happened to our signal, P- well it's not my fault you were too busy flirting, N- are you jealous he said grinning, P- me please, I don't date monkeys, N- wow your so funny seriously he said in a sarcastic voice, P- I know right, so what's next, N- you have the list, P- oh okay we have to go to a grave yard and dig a grave for one of us, N- not us you, P- no I stole so it's your turn, N- fine, but where are we going to find a grave yard at this time, P- I know lets go to Memorial grave, N- fine.


Another 15 minutes and they were there, Prachi got out angry, N- what did I do now, P- you're asking me, gosh how fast do you drive, I thought I was going to die, N- well in least I brought you to the right place he said laughing. They went through the gate, it was dark the tree were moving due to the wind that made noises, N- ooh prachi are you getting scared, P- no though she was, N- yes you are , P- I'm not, shut up neeve hurry up and do this, they found a spot to dig, N- okay now I need a shovel , I'll go find the shed were they put all that you stay here, P- no I'll come to , N- see you are scared , P- I'm not, N- prachi just stay here it's not like the dead will come back alive, P- fine gosh I hate you, N- but I love you, P- just go now, N- jeeze woman I'm going and with that he was gone.

Prachi stood there neeve was taking along time , she started hearing noises too cared to stay there she went to go look for neeve. P- neeve she call out his name but no response, P- gosh where could he be , she walked around when Bam she was grabbed, P- AHHH, when she heard neeve laughing, N- HAHAHAH you should have seen your face man, P- god I hate you, N- whatever let's go we have to win remember, they walked back to the space, neeve dug, and he was done after 15 minutes of digging while prachi kept making fun off him. P- okay now get in , oh give me your phone, N- where's your ?, P- mines in the car, N- fine giving his phone he got in, Prachi smiled to herself seeking revenge on him for scaring her she got an idea, without him knowing she took his photo, N- will you hurry up how long does it take you I've been laying here for a minute now.

P- it's not my fault , your camera isn't working, let me get my phone from the car , give me the keys?, N- you probably not doing it right, P- I am , oh wait your too scared to stay here by yourself here aren't you, N- no , I'm not go get your phone her said throwing the keys , P- thanks she said leaving with a smile on her face.
Neeve waited there it had been ten minutes or so , N- great where is she, when he heard foot steps, N- prachi he called out but no response ,the footsteps were coming closer he could here, neeve got up, he saw a figure coming towards his way , his eyes dilated, N- bhoot he screamed, he jumped out of the grave running screaming bhoot when he bumped into prachi who was laughing, he didn't stop he just screamed and kept running, N- prachi run there's a ghost, s*** run save your life, his coming omg run , P- neeve hang on I can't run so fast I'm tired, N- too bad it was really nice knowing you, I'll miss you, say hi to god for me he said increasing his speed, he finally reached the car and got in, he was about to start the car when he heard prachi screaming, P- wait for me you idiot, she finally reached the car and got in, P- neeve what are you seriously , your worst than a girl, N- prachi there was a ghost, P- your just seeing things and they went off.

As for the person in the grave well he was working his night shift , when he heard noises. N- d*** that was scary huh I thought I was going to cry, Prachi couldn't stop laughing, N-oh shut up like you weren't scared, great we didn't even get a photo, P- actually I already had taken one when you were getting comfy she said while giggling, N- you know what when we get out of this car you better start running cause you know I'm going to kill you. P- Whatever, N- what's next? P- umm kiss a random person

N- OHH I BAGS THIS ONE, prachi replied with a dirty look
