Court registration was at 10:30 on Friday morning. Angad dressed in navy blue slack and suit and reached the court fifteen minutes before time along with Raj and Anittah. He waited for fifteen minutes and was becoming impatient as Kripa not yet reached the court. "Bhai! Hum fifteen minutes pehley hi aachukey they. Kripa ko taiyyar honey ki kuch toh time dey. After all she is a bride."
Angad twisted his lips "tujhey jana tha wahan, Anittah! Pata nahin wo waqt par aa sakegi ki nahin." Raj patted his shoulder "don't worry bhai! She will be here in time. I called Sarmaji and they are on the way." Angad thanked him. He was too excited since morning and decided not to call her to suppress his excitement. Sarmaji called in the morning to wish him and gave some elderly advices about his wedded life. None from Khanna house called him which severely disappointed him. He shared the same with Anittah "dad or mom didn't call me once to wish me. Mera kya galati tha, Anittah? Kripa sey pyar karna paap tha? I made her life miserable and trying to correct my mistake. Mere mann mein uskey siva koyi nahin thi aur rahegi." Anittah and Raj both consoled him "don't worry bhai! Mom jada deir tak tumsey naraz nahin rahegi. She will definitely accept Kripa. She has no animosity on her. "
While they were seriously discussing about Naina's rejection for Kripa as his bride, Sarma family reached the registrar office. Angad' heart started pounding on seeing his bride. The excitement on getting married her was coming in experience in real time to him now. So far he dreamt about getting her married. She was his bride now.
Kripa got down of the car in red binny silk sari with green border and butta all over the sari. She wore red ruby set with matching glass bangles in red and green and gold; and braided hair with flowers; red bindi with sparkles around it, black eyeliner on beautiful big eyes; red lipstick sparking on her beautiful thin lips; gold Tikka/gold chain on the partition on hair; she was driving everyone's attention towards her. Anittah ran to her and kissed her temples "gorgeous, Kripa! Angad bhai toh gaya aaj kaam sey." Kripa smiled with shy. She looked adoringly at Angad who had stuck his eyes on her without blinking for a moment. She smiled and he walked to her and took her hands in his. He pressed her hands as his heart was racing with excitement beyond explanation. Both walked inside the registrar office along with their family.
Sur came in white fluffy frock with light pearl set holding Gayatri's hand. Everyone kissed her and Angad kissed her two cheeks "aaj mera shadi hai tumhari mamma sey." Sur shook her head "I know, mamma told me. I'm glad for you both." He laughed and carried her and hugged for her matured thinking.
Registrar gave the register to both of them to sign. "Stop, one second, Dulha!" everyone looked behind over the voice and surprised to see Shabbir and Misty with big lilly and rose garlands. Angad hugged Shabir and Misthy "thanks for coming." Misthy slapped his shoulder "kaisi baat karta hai, Angad! Mein kyon nahin aaoongi? Chalo ab sign karo aur issey apnalo" she pinched kripa's cheeks. Kripa also hugged Misthy and thanked.
Both signed the register and exchanged their looks with affection. Angad pressed her hand with joy. He wanted to hug her and kiss her lips but hesitated as her parents were present there. Shabbir noticed and patted his back affectionately. Misthy gave garlands to them to exchange each other. Angad put the garland around Kripa's neck and secretly caressed her neck with his fingers. Kripa bit her lower lip to hide her reaction. She put the garland around his neck looking into his eyes which expressing full of love on her. She also thought "khaash hum donon akeley hi yahan rehtey."
Suryaban gave two boxes; one with big solitaire for Angad and other single ruby ring for Kripa. Angad caressed her palm while wearing the ring and she pressed his fingers while putting on his finger. Raj took pictures of whole event. Registrar gave their certificate and the newly wedded couple took blessings from Kripa's parents. Everyone hugged each other and greeted.
All walked out of the registrar office and stunned to see Naina standing with fully decorated car by red roses. Dilip came forward and blessed the couple. "Sorry, beta! We were late as we stuck in the traffic. Hum witness signs nahin karpaya. But we are always with you. Your mom also came to take you both home." He looked at Naina and she walked forward and kissed Kripa on her forehead "congratulations, Kripa! You won Angad. I'm happy for him atlast for settling in his life. Bahut tapah kiya tha tumhari liye. Take care of him from now onwards." Both Angad and Kripa were surprised for the change in Naina and took her blessings. Anittah hugged her parents and Raj took blessings from them. Naina and Dilip hugged their samdhies and congratulated. Naina carried Sur and invited everyone to her house. Angad looked at Kripa for her approval and walked to the decorated car.
Misthy, Shabbir also followed them. Sarma couples and Khanna couples went in one car while Raj, Anittah Angad and Kripa drove in the decorated car.
As soon as they reached Khanna house, Naina walked faster than others and stopped Angad and Kripa at the door. She gave aarati, and put tilak on both foreheads. "Angad! abb Anittah ko nanad ki gift dekar, apne naam batakey andar aana." Angad surprised and Anittah took her status. She proudly put her hands on waist "haan mein nanad hoon. Kripa bhabhi! Abb aap meri bhai ki naam batadey aur bhai aapka. Aur bhai! Mujhey bahut bhari gift chaiye. Aakhir aapkey saat saat mein bhi chaar saal vanvaas ki thi."Everyone laughed as Kripa blushed. Angad told "kripa" and Kripa said "Angad" Everyone clapped. Angad gave his purse to Anittah "aaj iss sey kaam chalaley, I was not prepared for this custom." Anittah pouted and Naina consoled her "aagey aagey aur bhi rasamein hai, Anittah! Tumhara bhai toh gaya kaam sey." Everyone again laughed relaxingly and walked inside.
Everyone surprised for Naina's arrangements. She decorated whole house with yellow and red velvet curtains in decorative style; flower garlanda and lights hanged from ceilings. Dadi arranged for Satyanarayan puja. Pundit was already busy with arrangements and gave approval to dadi to bring the newly wed. Angad felt happy "mom! Yeh sab ki kya jaroorat thi." She boxed his ears "you never think about us and lived upto your wishes. Atleast let's do fulfill these small wishes. Kyon, Kripa! I hope you don't mind these arrangements." Kripa wet her eyes "No, aunty! Never, I'm pleased with these arrangements. I was obliged to you." Naina came to her and dropped her hand on Kripa's head "aunty nahin Maa kahon. Aakhir tum meri bahu ho. Jo humarey saat huva, jo mainey tumhari saat bartaav kiya tha wo sab bhuljaao aur humey maaf kardo. I know Angad loves you a lot. Aaj sey tum humarey parivar ki ek hissa hai." Kripa hugged her affectionately and smiled at Angad with joy.
Both sat in front of deity and performed the puja religiously. Dilip talked to Raj's parents and informed about the registration. Both parents fixed the auspicious date for traditional ceremony. Raj left after taking promise from Dilip for attending for their registration two days later. Shabbir and Misthy left after the delicious lunch. Gayatri and Suryaban left after two hours as Dilip and Naina walked them to the door. Both couples decided to attend for Sur's adoption two days later just before Anittah's marriage registration. Naina invited Gayatri and Suryaban for traditional ceremony of Sur's adoption on following weekend.
Angad took permission from Naina and Dilip to spend their night in their own apartment. Naina requested to leave Sur with them. Anittah stayed back and Angad drove Kripa home after dinner.
