Kripa was hesitant to come out of the room and face Khanna family. She was feeling embarrassed as her relation with Angad revealed out. Anittah walked in with breakfast tray as she was requested by Angad to help Kripa.
"Hi, Bhabhi! How are you feeling now? Here, your breakfast ready now." Anittah gave cup of coffee to her after placing the tray on the side table. Kripa smiled "thanks Anu! Mujhey 'babhi' mat bulao. I'm not yet your bhahi."
"Hm. Tum bhabhi tabhi ban chuki thi jab mera bhai tumhey accept kiya tha."Anittah pressed her hand in friendly way. kripa silently was sipping her coffee.
"Kripa! Don't forget we were best friends. I agree past four years brought distance between us but treat me as your same old friend."
Naina entered with Devyani "Haan, Kripa! This is your house now. I know, we formally not accept you yet in front of the society but you are my Angad's wife and Angad's child's mother. If we had known about this before, the things would have turned in different way." She sighed and continued "Beetey huvey kal ko bhul jaao and try to go forward. We all are with you to help you to come out of this mess. Move around in the house and make yourself comfortable with everything in this house. Feel at home."
Anittah raised her eyebrows at Kripa as she already informed the same with her before. Kripa smiled and thanked Naina. Naina left to attend an important call. Anittah also left the room as Sur needed her attention. Devyani sat with Kripa while Kripa munching her toast giving side glance to Dadi.
Devyani dropped her hand on Kripa's head "Mujhey yakein hi nahin hota, jiss ladki ney Angad ko zore sey tappad maar sakti thi, wahi ladki uss ke liye shadi tak kyon intezaar nahin kar saki thi?"
Kripa widened her eyes and opened her mouth. She turned her looks at Devyani "Dadi!!"
Devyani shook her head and gestured her eyes as she knew everything. Kripa lowered her eyes. She caressed Kripa's cheeks and chin. "Mein karva chaut par tum donon ko dekhi thi. Angad ke liye vrat rakh saketi thi, uski haaton sey vrat thod sakti thi, par uske saat shadi karney mein kya hesitation tha? Angad per viswaas nahin raha? Tumhari maa baap ko kyon nahin bata saki thi? Kyon Prithvi sey shadi ki?"
Kripa filled tears "Aisi baat nahin thi, Dadi! Humara beech pyar ka baat bhi itna intense nahin tha. Angad loves me a lot. Ussi ki wajah sey yeh sab huva tha…." She explained everything from their encounter, Angad's obsession, their commitment, Prithvi's threat." "mein bahut dargayi thi, dadi! Angad bhi US chala gaya tha. Mujhey samajh mein nahin ayi kiss se baataoon. Mujhey sab theek karney ki mouka kabhi nahin mili thi." Kripa sobbed by explaining and remembering her past."
Devyani wiped Kripa's tears and sighed, "Ab yeh sab bhul jao. Angad tumsey bahut pyar karta hai. Aur wo tumhey paana chahta hai. Prithvi kabhi bhi tumhara nahin raha tha. Tumhara izzat nahin kiya tha. Tumhara khayal kabhi nahin rakha tha. Abb yeh bandan sey mukt hokar mera pota ko apnalo aur humey kushi kardo."
Kripa moved at her affection and hugged her. She dropped her tears "I love Angad, dadi! I love him a lot. I'm so lucky to have you all in my life."
Angad who was standing out of the door and overhearing the conversation felt happy to hear Kripa's confession. He walked back into his room to talk to Nishant for pursuing Kripa's mater further. Nishant advised him to take restriction orders so that Prithvi won't face Kripa again for atleast two weeks. He further advised Angad meanwhile to get actual information about Prithvi's abuse and prepare Kripa to go for divorce.
Angad thought after hanging the phone "Kripa was protecting Prithvi out of her guilt or fear of his threat. I have to build up trust in her to leave Prithvi and go against him. I will definitely punish Prithvi for his threats and abuses."
Kripa became normal in moving around the house and taking care of Sur in usual manner. Angad slowly and indirectly was injecting thoughts of divorce in her mind. Kripa still was feeling guilty for her commitment with Angad as she back stabbed Prithvi's trust and insulted her engagement.
Suryaban and Gayatri were visiting Kripa twice a day and trying to take her home but Angad or Naina always managing to send them home with empty hands.
Dilip, Naina, Dadi got used to Sur as if they know her since birth and she calls everyone with the relationship. Everyone fights to sleep Sur with them every night. Kripa felt as if she was in heaven with everyone's attention and affection. She continued sleeping in Dadi's room to keep Angad in distance.
One day Dilip took Sur to office to show his granddaughter to everyone as many of them asked to bring her. She was pampered by everyone in the office being cute and boss's granddaughter. After lunch, Sur slept in Angad's cabin as Dilip went out for meeting some VIPs. Angad got an urgent conference with one of his clients and Angad called Kripa to take care of Sur.
Kripa felt nervous for going into her father's office after four years of big gap. She walked into the corridor and wished her old friends, Raj, and other employees. She saw Damini working busy as she walked towards Angad's cabin.
One of Damini's subordinate came to Kripa. "Hi, Kripa! How are you? Very sorry to hear about everything." He caressed her right hand sympathetically. Another lady subordinate approached them "Kyon, sorry for Kripa only? What about Damini ma'am and Prithvi? How could you do this, Kripa? You engaged to Prithvi and betrayed his trust?"
Another middle aged lady subordinate also attacked Kripa "kyon, nahin? Prithvi sey jada boss handsome and daulat wala hai na?"
"Damini ma'am kitni achi hai aur tum ussey dokha diya? Do you know what she was going through?" another employee from other section commented with anguish.
Another lady from Suryaban's section came "kyon aap log issko pareshan kar rahey hai,? Kya iss ladki kuch kum dukh zhel li thi? Women abusing and domestic violence are disgusting. You all should protest this. Aurat hokey Prithvi ki harkhaton ko support kar rahey hai? Damini ma'am should herself protest this than crying for her own son. What culture she gave to her own son?
"Haan, paison ke liye kissi amir admi sey talook rakhna koyi husband nahin sehlega." The previous lady subordinate defended her statement before.
"Haan, Kripa should respect her marriage and her culture."Another supported previous one.
Kripa was shocked at their attack. "Aisey news kitni jaldi pehltey hai? Kissney bataya yeh sab? Ghar walon sey jaada bahar wolon ko jaldi pata chal jaata hai?"
Angad came out at the same time and heard all comments and shocked. Kripa filled tears and shocked for the encounter by the same people who praised her in the past. Angad noticed Kripa's status and walked angrily towards them. Everyone left as seeing his ragged status. Kripa turned and saw Angad with tears flowing over her cheeks. She ran into Angad's cabin and closed her face into her palms.
Angad stood in shock at shaken Kripa and felt guilty for putting her under such condition. He slowly walked to her and sat besides her. He bent and removed her hands and lifted her face. She turned her face away and he turned it by holding her chin. "Kripa! Unlogon ko kya pata humarey beech mein kya huva tha? They are thinking about Damini but not realizing Prithvi's sadistic behavior. Chup hojao."He wiped her tears and pressed her head to his shoulder.
He checked his watch "Ghar jaakar aram karo, sham ko baat karengey." He got up and carried Sur on his shoulders.
Kripa wiped her tears and followed Angad. He held his hand out for Kripa and Kripa turned her face. He walked close to her "Itni si himmat hai tujhmey? Koi bahar waley kuch kahan aur tum apni pyar ko tukra rahi hai?" Kripa looked sharply at his eyes but his eyes are smiling at her. He kissed her forehead "logon ke baton ko mann pe mat ley. Think about ourselves." He grabbed her hand and tied in his grip.
He grinned at her "Yeh kya rista hai humara? Har kadam par force karna padta hai." Kripa clinched her teeth to stop her smile. He walked her out of the room. All staff stopped working and followed their looks towards Angad and Kripa. Angad placed Sur in back seat and seated Kripa beside her. "Take care!" The driver drove the car home. He took taxi to reach his client.
Kripa got call from Gayatri while she was on the way and turned the car to Sarma's apartment. Gayatri explained about Damini's threatens and warnings. "Damini is more worried about Prithvi. She is not thinking even once about you. Aur office mein Papa ka jeena haram hogaya hai. Everyone is talking about you and the incidents. Yeh kya hogaya tha Kripa? Tum ek baar bhi humey kuch nahin batayi thi. Abb kya karna chahti ho? Ye mat socho hum tumhey phir sey narak mein dhakeilna chahtey hai. Tum jo bhi phaisla lengi wo humey manzoor hongi. Papa bhi sab baat chupaney ki wajah se tumpar bahut naraz hai.
Meanwhile Damini called Gayatri to give her daily dose to them. Kripa heard Damini and felt sad.
"Mom! Kripa kahan hai?" Angad asked as she was not shown at dining table. Everyone was surprised as they were thinking so far that she was with him. Dadi told that she went to his office on his call after that didn't turn up. Angad surprised as he sent her home personally. He called her mobile and got no response. Everyone started worrying along with Angad.
Meanwhile Angad got call from Nishant informing about Prithvi's release. Angad shocked and asked for the reason. "Arey, buddy! Poochlo tumhari Kripa sey."
As Angad hung the phone he saw Gayatri and Suryaban entering the house along with Kripa and sur. Sur ran to Anittah to share her experience in the office. Gayatri and Suryaban understood that the Angad already might have got the information about Prithvi's release. Naina and Dilip exchanged looks and waiting for Angad to speak out.
Angad angrily looked at Kripa and she walked inside to escape from his looks. Anittah followed her. Dadi followed Anittah. Naina walked Gayatri and Suryaban sat with Dilip.
Gayatri atlast opened her mouth "Beta! Hum kab tak ye society say muh modhlengey? Wahan Damini bhi har din pareshan kar rahi hai. Office mein bhi bahut badnam ho rahi hai."
Gayatri couldn't finish her explanation when Angad walked to her "Kiss society ki baat kar rahi hai aap? Kripa kabhi uss society sey apni dard baant sakhi? Kabhi us society ko Prithvi ki harkathey bata saki thi? Kabhi uss society ney Kripa ki raksha ki? Aap apni beti ki security ki barrein mein sochna chahiye, uss society ki nahin." Angad sharply spilled out his anger.
"Wo itna asaan nahin hai beta. Aaj office mein kya huva tha tumhey bhi maloom hai na. Mein roz aisi baat sun raha hoon. Tujhey kya lagta hai mein bhaitkar khan band kar leta hoon? Aur tum boss ho koyi tumhara saamney muh kholney ki himmat nai kartey." Suryaban wiped his tears.
Angad remembered the encounter on Kripa in the office.
He walked inside Devyani room. Dadi and Anittah were trying to find out the reason behind her decision. "Yeh kya batayegi dadi? Issey apni pati ki haton mein marna pasand hongi. Bharat nari hai na." Anittah afraid at his anger tone and stood away from them. Dadi tried to warn him but he pulled Kripa up to face him "Kyon kiya yeh? Don't you know you are encouraging this violence? Tumhey jaana hai toh uss narak mein jaao. But I'm not sending my daughter with you. Samjhey?"
Kripa turned him with tears and lowered her eyes as she has no answer for him. "You got used to hear threatens. Hmm? Do you know what you did?" he paused "do you want to go to him?" his heart beat stalled to hear 'no' from her. She lifted her face to him and Angad understood her expressions as negative 'then why did you take back the complaint?"
Gayatri entered the room along with Naina "Beta! Kripa ki koyi galati nahin hai. Wo mazboor hai. Damini is constantly harassing us. And another important thing, knowing all of sudden about Sur's biological father made Prithvi violent."
Angad gave a sharp look at her and pulled Kripa in front of her "Yeh baat aap ki beti sey poochiye. Poochiye Sur ki barrein mein Prithvi kab jaantay tha. He knew about Sur from the time she started growing in Kripa. He knew everything about Sur. He married your daughter just to harass her. He tortured her from the beginning."
"Angad!!" Kripa surprised how Angad knew about this and tried to warn him from revealing the truth.
"Why, am I wrong? Kabhi Prithvi tumhey jalaney ki kosish nahin kiya tha? Har baar guilty ki wajah sey tum ussey bachati rahi. I don't know what to do with you, Kripa! When you don't want to save yourself, how could I save you? Please think atleast about Sur."
"I took restrictive orders, Angad! Damini mom promised me to stay Prithvi away from me."
Angad smiled sarcastically "Damini! Wo aurat, wo maa who wants to save her sadistic son."
Naina warned him to calm down. Meanwhile they heard big noise in the living room and everyone walked there.
"Prithvi!!" everyone spelled his name in their minds.
Prithvi totally drunk and came along with Aaliyah. "Toh tum ho iski aashiq." Prithvi was losing his balance as he had drunk too much. "Wah! Kripa! Kya khel khela hai. Iss sey bada back stabbing kuch nahin hota. Engagement mere saat ki aur raat isskey guzari thi." Angad walked to him angrily and held his collar."Prithvi! chaley jaao yahan sey. How dare you to come here. I don't tolerate your ausing behaviour."
"Haan, kyon tolerate karogey? Meri fiance ke saat rang rangaliya manakey mujey morals sunatey ho? How dare you to touch my fiance?"
"Zuban sambhalo, Prithvi! We loved each other, why did you marry my lover. When you knew about us why did you try to spoil her life?"
Prithvi laughed "You slept with my fiance and I married your lover....hissaab khatam. Now she is my wife. I will do whatever I want with her, tum kaun hotey ho beech mein taang adaney waley?"
Angad tightened his fist.
Kripa got tears for Prihvi's abuse and saw Angad fuming. She walked between them "Prithvi! Yahan se chaley jaao. My Damini mom ke wajah sey tumhey maaf kar rahi hoon. Chaley jaao yahan se. I took restriction orders against you. Agar mein police ko bulaye toh tum phir jail jaogey. Abbhi yahan se chaley jaao. Aaliya! Take him home."
Aaliyah gave a dirty look at her "Kyon, nahin Kripa! Tum meri bhai ka jindagi jo barbaad kiya tha. Aur yahan tu.." she turned her looks on everyone and dragged Prithvi to exit.
Everyone sat wherever they were and maintained silence as everyone immersed in their own thoughts.
Angad looked at Kripa who was seriously scribbling in her left palm with right fingers. Sur came and hugged Angad's legs. Angad melted at her fearful eyes and took her into his lap. He put her sleep. Gayatri gestured Suryaban and Kripa to leave. "Naina! Hum chaltey hai. I keep updating you." She whispered and took leave. Kripa came to Angad and tried to take Sur.
"Let her stay here for some more days…please!" he turned his looks away from her and curtly pleaded.
Kripa swallowed her pain and walked out with her parents.
