Damini burst into tears and hugged Prithvi. Prithvi also got tears and circled his hands around Damini's shoulders and rested his chin on her head and closed his eyes shedding tears silently.
After few moments of consoling each other in their affectionate embrace Damini moved away and asked Prithvi "Yeh sab kya hai, Prithvi? Yeh sab kab huva tha? Why didn't you tell us anything? When you know about Kripa's love affair why did you marry her? You ruined your life and hers too. Did you think she will forget her lover and compromise with you? I wonder how could she cheat you and as well as us like this! How could she play with you and Angad? Sarma ji ki beti aisi karegi mujhey abb hi yakeein nahin horaha hai!!"
Prithvi surprised and twisted his eyebrows "Angad?"
This time Damini took turn to get surprised "Why are you so startled to hear Angad's name? Don't you know Angad was her past lover?" she mumbled "Probably she is still has relation with him now too."
Prithvi still under shock to hear Angad's name linked with Kripa and Damini continued "We all were shocked to realize that Sur is Angad's daughter. How could she do this? Do you know before marriage she had intense relationship with Angad? Kya Sur ki barein mein Kripa tumhey dhokey mein rakhi thi?" she held her head with two hands "Meri sar toh bhatak rahi hai. Yeh sab soch soch ke mein pagal hojaoongi. Achi kandan ki ladki aisi harkathein? Pati ke peeth par laath maari? How disgusting, I can't believe she could do this. Sarma Ji's daughter could do this!"
Prithvi recovered from his shock "Aap ko kab pata huva tha?"
Damini explained everything from the start where Sur told about Prithvi in the hospital till Prithvi's arrest. Prithvi laughed wickedly "Wo mera kya bigadega Mom! I will kill both of them together. Let me come out of this jail once" he is burning inside to hear the truth of Angad as Kripa's lover. But he didn't mention to Damini whether he knows the truth before or not and the reason behind abusing Kripa.
Damini shook her head "nahin, beta! Tum aisa kuch nahin karega jiss sey tumhara life bhi bigad jayega"
Prithvi cut her in the middle of sentence "mera life toh bigad gaya Mom! I was ruined. All my dreams were shredded with that B*****. I don't let her happy in her life, NEVER. Mujhsey sagai karkey kissi aur ke saat pyar? How could she do this?"
Damini tried to convince him "Prithvi! I don't know what happened between you both. When you asked for early marriage we all were happy and thought you both loved each other so much and didn't want to live away from each other. But we didn't expect something wrong happened behind the decision. I don't know why Kripa did this to us. Whatever happened just forget it. Abb bhi kuch nahin bigada tha. You can correct your life and your mistake. Nowdays domestic violence is a very serious offense. And you didn't have any idea how deep in trouble you were in. As long as it runs between four walls no one could harm you but once it comes to the court, it leaves you ruined. Please Prithvi! Aisa kuch mat karo jiss se tum aur tumharey saat hum bhi barbaad hojaaye. I can't see you suffer like this. I will ask Sarma Ji to withdraw the case and we can talk to Kripa and settle matters."
Prithvi didn't agree with her and yelled "I'm not going to leave that Wh**** so easily Mom!"
Damini slapped his cheek "Sambhalo apna jubaan ko. I can understand your humiliation but I never gave you such culture that you lose your temperament. Aaj tak tum jo jee mein aya wo kiya tha. If I would knew about Kripa's affair before I wouldn't recommend to this marriage at first instance. You married her just to harass her? Why did you do this? Did you think she is the only person in the whole world you got to marry? Kripa jaisi aur ussey bhi jada layak ladkiyan hazaron mein hai iss duniya mein. You just ruined your life with anguish and grudge. Now, Listen to me and change your attitude. I can't see my son ruining his life in front of my eyes." She shed her tears and started sobbing.
Prithvi wiped his tears and hugged his mother "I listen to you, Mom! I can't see your tears. You had enough in your life abb mere wajah sey aap nahin royengey."
Damini consoled herself after few minutes and walked out when the meeting time lapsed.
Gayatri and Suryaban apoligised Prithvi and conveyed the similar sympathies that Damini conveyed before "Khaash aap donon humey pehley kuch bata detey yeh naubat nahin aati, beta!" Suryaban Sarma showed his concern with tearful eyes. They are still under shock of everything.
Damini seriously requested on the way back with authoritative tone "Sarma Ji! Abb jo huva wo toh hum badal nahin saktey. Aap yeh case wapas lijiye aur mein Prithvi ko sambhaloongi. I was ruined in all ways by this marriage. Khaash Kripa pehley aapko bata diya hota. Kissi aur ki beti ko apna samjhkar paalna bahut muskil baat hai. Prithvi had enough torture about Sur. I agree he took wrong path to punish Kripa but think once how it hurts a husband when his own wife betrays."She felt sad that Sur is not her own granddaughter.
Sarma couple felt guilty about Sur's birth secret and kept silent. They dropped Damini home and headed to hospital.
At Hospital:
Kripa slept a few minutes after telling the truth behind her marriage, in Angad's arms and he tugged her under bed cover without disturbing her. He sat beside her till Nishant came into the room. He gestured him to wait outside and followed him after kissing softly on her forehead and caressing her tear marked cheeks.
Nishant took him into the lobby. "Prithvi was arrested in US a few months ago." Angad shocked and looked at Nishant for some more clarification.
"It seems Prithvi was harassing Kripa for long time and was arrested when the neighbours gave a complaint against him seven months ago. I think it must be five months before Kripa came here. He tried to burn her in the bedroom. He locked her in the bedroom and lit some of her clothes and bed sheets. She escaped with child from the bedroom window and some of neighbours controlled the fire in time from spreading. Kripa's neighbour, an elderly Indian lady sheltered her a month. I think Prithvi left US under her advice only. He was arrested for three weeks for the fire incident as it seems Kripa saved him. Kripa didn't give any complaint of domestic abuse and neighbour's witness didn't work. I don't know why Kripa saved him. Yeh tumhey pata karna hoga. We need her cooperation to punish Prithvi. Of course, he will be in jail on Sur's witness. But make sure Kripa doesn't save him anymore. I heard very bad things about him."
Angad wiped his tears "kya?" Nishant smiled and patted his back "yeh chotisi information sunkey hi tum aisa roney laga hai. Aur bhi suney toh pata nahin kya karogey. We will discuss all later. Pehley Kripa ki khayal rakho and make sure she won't melt for Prithvi's words or Damini's pleads. This happens in many cases. Wife always saves husband…bharat nari param pujya mahila!! huh!!" Nishant shook his head and got up to leave. Angad shook his hand bidding bye and walked into Kripa's room.
Kripa woke up and having soup while nurse feeding her. "Aap yahin thay? Aap feed karna chahengey?" Nurse asked with a cheer on face. She is observing the affection towards Kripa in his eyes since last nigt. Angad smiled and took the bowl from her. After nurse left he sat beside Kripa and started feeding silently. Kripa noticed some disturbance in his face but didn't dare enough to enquire. Angad's absence mind bothered her "Kya hua Angad? Kahan gaye they? Is everything alright?"
Angad sharply looked into her eyes "how could you ask this when you hurt like this?" his sharp tone startled her. She lowered her eyes and bid her lower lip.
"Prithvi was arrested last night. Tumhari parents and saas went to see him. I went to meet Nishant, my friend, and CBI. He is looking into your case."
Kripa frowned "CBI? Kyon? I don't need anyone. I can handle this. You don't have to interfere."
Angad angrily clinched his teeth, "Tumharey liye nahin, Sur ke liye. Do you know how all this impacting on her? He stabbed your hand in front of an innocent small girl. She was shocked. Wo mere siva kissi aur ke paas nahin jaati. Anittah is trying hard to handle her. She clung to me all the night and shivering with bad dreams. Pata nahin tum donon kab sey lad rahey hai. Kaisey tumhara Pati tumhey harass kar raha tha. (He remembered Nishant's words and stretched the words strongly to show his anger). You might be enjoying his harassment but I and my daughter never forgive him." He showered his anger as concentrating on stirring soup in the bowl.
Kripa watched his anger and sorrow in tone with tearful eyes. Angad lifted his eyes at her and realized what he said. He felt offended and wiped her tears. "Are you tolerating his torture from the beginning?" She turned her face by tying her lips to stop her sob. He understood her silence and turned her face. He placed the bowl on side table and turned to her.
He cupped her face in his palms "Can you give me any chance to correct my mistake? "I can't see you suffer like this. I want to stop all this nonsense right now. I'll teach him a lesson. He has no right to harass you. I need your cooperation in this matter, Kripa! Mere liye nahin, tumharey liye nahin but humarey beti ke liye. Tumhari Sur ke liye. Can you do this much for HER?"
Kripa couldn't stop sobbing and shook her head and clung to him. He caressed her back till her tears dried up. He moved her strands behind ears and kissed her cheeks, "have some lunch! You need energy for some more tears."
Kripa frowned and looked at him angrily for his sarcasm. He smiled and started feeding the soup to her. "I don't believe you tolerated all these years coz of his stupid threat. And you didn't get a single chance to approach me. I'm like a great stupid and fool of the world thinking you are happy with your beloved husband. Your parents visited you for six months. Your mother-in-law stayed with you for six months. Your, the best friend, Aaliyah lives with you. And you…you stupid girl couldn't find a single chance to let your frustration out. HUH!!" He sighed as his eyes moistened.
He finished feeding her and gave some water. Kripa tolerated all his scolds silently and enjoying his affection behind it. He put the empty glass on side table and walked in the room from here and there resting his hands on either side of his waist thinking seriously. He stopped and looked at Kripa who was watching him longingly. She startled and turned her eyes.
He walked to her and dropped hands around her shoulder and turned her face to stare into her eyes. "Why did you tolerate this? Why couldn't you inform me anytime? Mera pyar par bharosa nahin tha? Did he threaten further with something else? Are you guilty of something like you betrayed Prithvi? OR" he paused for a moment rolling his tongue inside his cheeks. "OR you really enjoyed his harassment?"
Kripa stared into his eyes for a while to understand his question "I was guilty. I was guilty for betraying his trust. I was guilty for his frustration, for shattering his dreams." Her tears fallen on her cheeks. Angad sighed and closed his eyes to stop his pain and slowly pressed her head to his chest.
She circled her left hand around his shoulder "I missed you a lot. I never forgot you. I longed to be held in your arms. I tolerated everything hoping to be held in your hands one day. I lived to see you one day before end of my life. I lived with a hope to handover your child, sign of your love, to you." She mumbled staring into his eyes.
Angad melted with her words and embraced her tightly and bent to touch her lips with his. Both lips are shivering. He kissed her lips and looked into her soulful eyes. He kissed her each time saying "for bringing my child into the world"; "for waiting for me"; "for tolerating everything for me".
She closed her eyes enjoying his kisses. He watched her immersing in his kisses. She slowly opened her eyes for him stopping his kisses. Both looked deeply into each other eyes. "Now this is in advance for your cooperation for our reunion, for our family, for our future" he softly said and kissed deeply and parted her lips with his to convey her tongue through his about his promise. In that deep passion they learnt both were longing to be held in each other hands forever. The first time he realized Kripa loves him in deep of her heart.
He kissed all over her face with his wet lips and smiled with moistened eyes and hit her forehead with his "Aaj sey tumhey ek pal bhi akela nahin chodunga. I take decisions on your behalf. You just follow my instructions. Samjhey?" She blushed and shook her head. Angad sighed heavily and laughed softly at her surprise "It looks like you got used to forceful jobs in all these four years."
Kripa pouted her lips and he kissed her pout and bit with his teeth as Kripa moaned with pain. He kissed her cheeks loudly. Kripa smiled "yeh hospital hai tumhara ghar nahin."
"Pat hai, issi liye chumma tak rukgaya" Angad winked as tightening his embrace. "Koyi aajayega, Angad!" she caressed his back with her left hand. He moved away from her leaning her at head rest and caressed her cheeks with his two thumbs.
His mobile rang as Anittah called "Bhai! Where were you? Sur is asking for you. And I ran out of excuses. Aap aakar ussey sambhaliye. She got all your traits brother!! Itna satati hai. Oh God! She is purely your daughter, not even a single trait she got from nave Kripa."
Angad laughed and pinched Kripa's left cheek with his right hand and kissed it. Kripa surprised and questioned him with her eyes. Angad smiled at Kripa and answered Anittah "Anittah bring her here. Kripa is missing her too. I can't leave Kripa alone now."
He hung the phone and conveyed Kripa about Anittah's comments. Kripa blushed and he kissed her forehead and caressed her right hand affectionately. "Had he ever harass Sur?" Kripa shook her head negatively "he likes kids and Sur knows how to behave with people." Angad moaned "mmm.. wo bhi meri trait hai" he winked at her. Kripa stretched her lips and rolled her eyes.
"Such, I swear! Not like you, bear all the pain, needlessly." Angad complained.
Kripa smiled and pressed his right hand to her left cheek and kissed his palm "Agar tujhey sacha behave karna aata aaj yeh naubat nahin aati" she bit her tongue realizing what she said.
