wow wonderful part hun, im glad kripa believes him...i just want angad to come out of the court with a smile on his face, kripa by his side, and victory in his hands...and simone, priya, and mishti in jail for false allegations.... 😡 update soon i cant wait 😛

PART 58:

Angad and Kripa arrived at Shabbir's office. Shabbir was buried between papers, files and his computer. His computer analyst was at his desk pointing to some files on the screen.

Shabbir gestured his clients to sit down.

"Hmm…Angad….we have the IP address of the computer where those photographs of your suhaag raat were planted from…..it is not surprising that this computer belongs to your company and someone remotely accessed your home computer using the company network," Shabbir showed the paperwork to Angad.

There was a knock on the door-it was Kartik. He came in with a list of all the computers issued to the employees at Creative Advertising.

"There you are Shabbir!" Kartik handed him the list. Shabbir passed it to his analyst, who scrutinized the list closely and matched the IP addresses to the one they had narrowed down to.

"There you go Mr Khan," the analyst circled the address on the list.

Shabbir was shocked when he saw the name against the address.

"What happened Shabbir?" Angad asked; he knew by the pallor on Shabbir's face that it was bad news!

Shabbir handed over the list to Angad.

"NO WAY! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!" He got up and threw the list back on the table

Kripa and Kartik were surprised and looked at each other.

Kripa picked the list and was stunned, "KELLY?"

Kartik snatched the list from her, "WHAT RUBBISH?"

"Peter (the computer analyst) please check your facts again…this is impossible!" Angad gnashed his teeth in fury.

Peter did not argue; he did what he was asked to do and came back with the same conclusion.

Kartik pounded his fist on his head, "Let me go back to the office….I have to check this myself….I agree with Angad, Kelly can't do this!"

"Where is Kelly tonight? Why don't we ask her?" Shabbir tapped his pencil on his desk.

Kartik sighed, 'I just dropped her to the airport…..she is on her way to Houston….she will be back in couple of days….let me go to the office….I can access her computer there…..there is definitely some mistake here."

"Why don't we all go," Angad suggested.

Their worst fears came true when they found the folder XYZ on Kelly's desktop with their photographs. Peter reviewed some documents on Kelly's computer and concluded, "yes this is the primary computer for this folder….the pictures were not transferred from anywhere else."

Kartik was infuriated; he slammed the door to Kelly's cabin and walked out.

Angad and Kripa followed him and found him in the hallway. Kartik stood against a wall with his face buried in his arm.

Angad touched his brother's back, "calm down Kartik…..I still don't believe this…..someone is conspiring against her too."

Kartik yelled back, "WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME? Main hamesha galat ladki se pyaar kyon kar baithta hoon?" he pounded his fists on the wall in frustration.

"Kartik…..Kelly is the right girl for you….I have known her longer than you have…..she will never do anything like this!" Angad defended his best friend.

Kripa was astonished at Angad's confidence in Kelly. The evidence was so glaring- Kelly's computer had their photographs……Kelly had easy remote access to Angad's home computer…….she was conveniently out of town tonight……and KELLY WAS THE ONE WHO GIFTED THEM THE ROOM AT THE HOTEL! May be she still loved Angad and was taking revenge from him for marrying Kripa!"

"Angad……let's go to Waldorf Astoria!" Kripa suggested.

"Why?" Angad asked

"Remember Kelly and Carl gifted that room to us…..maybe we can get some clues about the hidden cameras…..maybe she planted them there," Kripa pulled his arm.

Angad removed his arm from her grip, "NO SHE DIDN'T DO THAT!"

Kripa was bewildered and aghast with her husband's trust in Kelly.

"Angad……who gave you that watch?" Kartik asked

Angad paused and swallowed hard and said softly, "Kelly did….after our wedding."

Shabbir raised his eyebrow and said, "Angad…..that is indeed interesting…isn't it?"

"It is just a series of unfortunate events…..just a mere coincidence…..and Kripa….if you remember, Carl also gifted us the room……why don't we ask him?" Angad said grimly.

Kartik dialed Carl's number, who happened to be in his office for some late night work. He came right out, "Hey….looks like we are having the trial right here….what's going on guys?"

Shabbir updated Carl with the new turn of events. Carl was dumbfounded, "WHAT? I don't believe it……Kel would never do anything like this."

"Carl…I am glad you agree with me," Angad was thankful someone else agreed with him.

"Carl…..you guys gifted us that room at the hotel after our wedding….didn't you?" Kripa asked.

"Sure…..but….but…it would be hard to plant a hidden camera in such a prestigious place….they have very strict security," Carl contemplated.

"Didn't we have a special basket with a beautiful bouquet in our room Angad?" Kripa asked

"The hotel staff could have kept it there," Angad said.

"Actually…..Kel did go to your room…..now I remember….she wanted to personally check out the arrangements in your honeymoon suite," Carl scratched his head.

"Kelly and you once dated didn't you?" Shabbir asked.

Angad lowered his head, "yes we did….she is my best friend….she would never stab me in my back."

Carl heaved a sigh, "Angad….Kripa…..Kartik…..I hate to say it but I know Kelly has never forgotten Angad….she is still very much in love with him to this date…..you know people can go to any extent when they are in love……I am not implying that Kelly is guilty in any way……but one has to always think of a motive….hmm…..Shabbir?" he looked at the young lawyer who looked really worried at that point.

"Angad…..Kelly is supposed to be one of our most important witnesses as she has known you for a long time……but I am not sure we should risk that anymore," Shabbir said thoughtfully.

"Shabbir! Kelly is my friend and she will never testify or do anything against me!" Angad insisted.

"Angad….Shabbir is right……we can't risk Kelly as a witness……she could turn out to be a hostile witness and ruin your case completely," Kripa tried to reason with her adamant husband.

"Kripa is right Angad…..a hostile witness can break your case completely," Shabbir nodded.

"I am sorry guys…..I should have not told you that little secret about Kelly….but I figured it was important at this stage," Carl excused himself, "please Angad…you can count on me…..you know I have no motive to turn hostile," he winked at him and left.

Kartik was furious and heart-broken, "Kelly….why did you do this to me?"

"May be she wanted to get closer to Angad by dating his brother?" Shabbir contemplated.

Kartik clenched his fists and walked away; he turned back and said, 'Angad…..I will make sure Kelly does not even get close to your case…..as far as I am concerned SHE IS HISTORY!"

Kripa was disgusted and disappointed with Angad's so called best friend……she remembered how Kelly had saved the day for her before the Namaste India gala…….so why did she do something so dreadful after her marriage? Did it finally hit Kelly that Angad was not going to be hers any longer? And why is my husband still insisting on trusting that woman!!!!

Kripa held Angad's hand, "ghar chalo Angad……you need some rest…..excuse us….we will see you tomorrow," she led him back to their car and drove back to their apartment.

Angad and Kripa rode in silence; Angad was still skeptic about the whole Kelly thing……he knew in his heart that Kelly was innocent…..she was being framed just like he was……someone didn't want her to testify for him……they were scared that Kelly's statement might sway the jury in Angad's favor.

"Angad…..you have to forget Kelly now….she is not trust worthy," Kripa said as she parked the car in the garage.

"KRIPA! I TRUST KELLY MORE THAN ANY ONE IN THIS WORLD!" Angad yelled irritably.

Kripa was astounded at his tone, "Angad? Kya tum Kelly par mujhsey bhi zyaada vishwaas karte ho?"

"MAY BE I DO!" Angad got out of the car and slammed the car door; he did not wait for Kripa and took the elevator to the 30th floor. Kripa ran after him, but the elevator doors shut on her face and she was left alone in the lobby.

Kripa's feelings were really hurt tonight; the man she trusted so much despite all the painful and disgusting comments she had heard about him all day had the audacity to tell her that he trusted Kelly more than anyone else? Aakhir Kelly ne aisa kya jadoo kar rakha hai uspar? Itna hi tha tho Kelly se hi shaadi kyon nahin ki? Meri zindagi mein kyon aaye? She kept mumbling to herself and wiping her tears as she came back to the apartment.

That night, for the first time since they fell in love, they slept with their backs to each other- for the first time their queen sized bed, which had always been a little too big for them, was a little too small for the two of them.

Kripa sobbed silently all night as this song plays in the background"

wht the heck how could angad even utter a word that he believed kelly more than kripa the girl who went against her mom and married him the girl who did so much for him trust him and today he showed his true colors
ur ff is just awesome it shows the true colors of men and i'm serious wen i say that. i have read all ur ff till now and they all show the reality about men it's awesome. now let's see wht kripa does even she should show him what he desrves 😡 she should make him realize how those words have stabbed her directly.

Don't assume Kelly is the culprit....the story is not over yet. Angad is very frustrated and stressed out at this point, that is why he just blurted out without thinking. I am sure he will regret it by the morning. May be Angad is right and Kripa's assuption like everyone else's might be wrong???? Let's see 😉

of course they will. AK can't live without each other. A trial like this can be very stressful for a couple and can be an acid test for their love and faith in each other. This is a very natural turn of events. All arguments between couples don't always lead to separation.....so don't worry guys 😉
