The Raizada parivaar are at the breakfast table. Eating aloo ke parathe.

Kavita: Viren, tumhe yaad hai na aaj shanti ke ghar jaana hai. Isliye office se jaldi aayega aaj

Viren: [nods head] haa, yaad hai.

Tara: mummy, aaj mein,Rahul, Antariksh bhaiyya aur niharika bhabhi film dekhne jaa rahe hai.

Vedika: [excited] Film? Mujhe bhi film dekhne jaana hai!

Tara: Lekin Bhabhi, Dhruv bhaiyya ne to kaha- [cut off by Dhruv]

Dhruv: [sounding suspicious]Arre Vedika tumhe yaad nahin, tumne to kaha ta ke tumhe apni dost ki ghar jaana hai.

Vedika: Maine?

Dhruv: Haa Vedika tum bhi naa bhuljati ho...

Vedika: [under her breath] Maine kaha tha?

After breakfast,all go into their room. Dhruv is getting infront of the mirror, brushing his hair. Vedika comes up from behind.

Vedika: Dhruv? [rubbing dust off his cream suit]

Dhruv: Hmm? [carries on brushing]

Vedika: Maine kab kaha tha ke mujhe apni dost ke ghar jaana hai? [turns round so her back is to Dhruv's back] Mujhe to kuch-[ cut off by Dhruv who stops combing and turns round to her]

Dhruv: [puts his hands on her shoulder] Woh isliye kyonki tumne kahi kaha hi nahin tha!

Vedika:[turns round] Par...tumne to-

Dhruv: Woh isliye kyonki mujhe laga ke sab log bahar jaa rahe hai, to hum thore liye akele hoge [putting his arms round her neck]

Vedika: [moans like a child] nahiiiiiiiinnn...mujhe film dekhne jaana hai [stamps her feet slightly]

Dhruv: Suno...[keeps shaking her head] suno na Vedika. Please! [Vedika stops and listens] Aaj ke liye...please! Hum log shaam ko bahar dinner karege. Teekh hai?

Vedika:[sulking] Teekh hai

Dhruv: Good! Ab mein tayaar ho jaoo? Agar mein jaldi jaaooga to jaldi vapas aaooga.

Vedika: [nods her head]

Its 6.00pm. Kavita and Viren have left an hour ago or so, and the other just left for the matinee show! As soon as they leave Vedika rushes to her wardrobe and looks at the selection of her sarees. She ponders over which saree to wear...

Vedika: Kaun si peru?

Takes a yellow one out looks at it then shakes her head. She does that until she finds a beautiful peacock blue coloured saree, she wears it. Puts her long earrings on and dangly gold earrings. Looking very pretty.

She hears a horn. Looks out of the window its Dhruv in his car. Vedika smiles and runs out and sits at the front.

Vedika: [sarcastically] aagaya aap?

dhruv:[smiles, he takes bouquet of flowers he kept on the backseat and presents them to Vedika] Aap ke liye...

Vedika[takes the flowers and smiles] Bare romantic mood mein hai aap aaj...

Dhruv: Woh to hum hamesha rehte hai.... [moves to kiss Vedika,but she pushes him away]

Vedika: Teekh hai teekh hai...ab chalo. [scrunches her face up]Bahut bhook lagi hai

They drive off and after 10-15 minutes later reach a lavish restaurant. Dhruv like a gentleman opens the door for the lady and holds his hand out for her to hold.

Vedika: [looks at the restaurant and admires it]Wow...kitni khoobsurat hai!

Dhruv: Uh...Vedika hum yaha nahin kharahe!

Vedika: [confused and turns to him] Toh kaha?

Dhruv: [points towards the left] Waha...

Vedika:[gasps] Dhabhe mein?😆😆

Dhruv: Haa!

Vedika: [laughs unconvingly] Tum mazak karahe ho? [holds his suit tight and pulls it] Please tell me tum mazak karahe ho

Dhruv: Mein mazak nahin karaha hoon...hum sachme waha aaj ka khana kharahe hai.

Vedika: Nahin mein waha nahin khaoogi...[folds her arm]

Dhruv: Vedika chalo na pleaseeee!! Mazaa aayega chalo na...[pulls her to the dhabha] Chalo!

A sardar comes upto them,with a red paghri and a kurta and lungi.

Sardar: Oji welcomeji welcome to titu singh's dhabha! boloji...kya khaoge!

Dhruv: Tituji...aaj sab dishes le aao! [whispers into tituji's ear]Hamari biwi thori naraaz hai humse, aaj jo bhi hamari memsaab khayegi hum woh hi khayege! Vedika looks away angrily...

Vedika looks around at the dirt and flies over the food. But people are still enjoying their food! Couples have come with their children, its very busy!

Sardar: Bhabhiji...aap bolo! Kya legi aap?

Vedika: huh? woh....[not showing interest]

Dhruv: [answers for vedika] uh..tituji...aap sab le aao!

Sardar: Sab? [laughs] Teekh hai ji! [walks off]

Vedika is hugging herself because of the coldness, and treading very carefully. They sit down on a bench. Dhruv is all comfortable and smiling...but Vedika is still sulking. The food comes....there is all kind of sabsi's, moti rotis..the smell is gorgeous.

Dhruv: [licks his lips, and pulls his sleeves up] yum! mujhe to bahut bhook lagi hai

Vedika: To khao na!

Dhruv: Kyon tum nahin kharahi?

Vedika: No way! Dhruv tumne dekha nahin kaisi makhi ghumrahi thi khane ke uppar.😆

Dhruv: Toh? [pauses] Vedika yaha sab maze se khaate hai. Kuch nahin hota! Acha...chalo, mere haatho se tho khao. Mujhe pe to bharosa hai na?😳

Vedika:[thinks for a minute] Teekh hai...lekin main isliye nahin kharahi kyonki mujhe bhook lagi! woh to- [cut off by Dhruv]

Dhruv:[smiles remembering when she said she was hungry] Haa haa...jo bhi. Ab khao [feeds her]

Dhruv: Acha hai na?

Vedika:[giving attitude] Teekh hai...itna khaas nahin. [actually finding it very tasty]

After 15minutes or so they hear someone shouting...its our very own titu singh in anger. The customers turn round to see him. He is shouting because a customer has not got any money to pay him.

Sardar: [shouting]Ki matlab ke aap ke paas paise nahin? heh? Mere dhabhe mein aake, khana khaliya...aur ab bol rahe ho ke paise nahin!!!😡😡 Oy! Genda Singh! Chinta Singh!😆

These 2 wrestler-like men come out. Genda singh takes the extremely stick-like man by the collar. They both take him away....

Dhruv and Vedika gulp!

Vedika: baap re baap...

Dhruv: [turns round to her] I know...

Vedika: Pata nahin ab kya karege bechare ke saath...

Dhruv: Yeh titu singh kitna bhola bhala lagta hai lekin...

Vedika: asal mein to ...[doesn't finish her sentence]

After and hour or so, they finish the food. Both are full up. Dhruv belches😆😆

Vedika: Dhruuvvvv!😡

Dhruv: kya hai? karna parta hai, control nahin hota. Tum bhi karo..yaha sab chalta hai [Vedika shakes her head] Vedika?

Vedika: hmm?

Dhruv: [smiles and shakes her head] Mazaa ayaa?

Vedika:[still giving attitude] Teekh tha...

Dhruv: Hmmm....matlab nahin mazaa ayaa?

Vedika: kaha to sahi teekh tha!

Dhruv: [gives up]Tum nahin manogi! Anyway mein paise deke aata hoon.

Vedika: Haa...jaldi! Varna hamari bhi aisi haalat na karde, pata nahin kya kiya hoga uss bechare ke saath [both laugh]

Dhruv puts his hands in his pocket...can't find the wallet there. Starts looking worried.Looks at Vedika and smiles....checks his other pocket,nope...nothing there. He checks all his inside pockets as well....looks up at Vedika.

Vedika: Kya hua?

Dhruv: How do you feel like getting beaten up today?😆 Mera to aaj bara mood hai...

Vedika: Kya?! Kaisi baat karahe ho

Dhruv: [laughs uneasily] Vedika woh kya hai....mera wallet...lagta...[sweating] main bhulgaya!😆

Vedika: KYA????????

Dhruv slowly nods his head and Vedika is in disbelief!

Vedika: Ab kya kare (she has a frightened look on her face)

Dhruv: Kya kare? lets get beaten up (dhruv laughs quietly 😆)

Vedika: Dhruv?! How can u be laughing at a time like this? 😡

Titu singh is walking towards them, dhruv looks at him and sweats a little, he turns to look at vedika for an answer but she doesnt say anything.

Titu singh is right infront of dhruv now, titu pats dhruv on the back.."oye, saabjhi..mazaa aaya?"

Vedika: Haan jhi, sir...she gives a fake smile

Titu singh winks at dhruv..."oye hoye..dekho, biwi bhi kush hogaye!" Acha..saabjhi, kuch aur chah heya?

Dhruv: Nahin, nahin...hum abhi bill dene aata hai

Titu singh: Koi gal nahin, tusse aram de nal beto...tey phir bill shill da hasaab karenge!

Titu singh walks away

Vedika: Bill shill? Dhurvvv...chalo yahan se bagte hain hum

Dhruv: Are u crazy? we cant do dat..

Vedika:...tumhare galti hain, tumhe shock tha dabba main kanna ka...mazaa aya kya? 😡

Dhruv: Vedika!

Vedika: Kya?

Dhruv: I have an idea...(dhruv whispers the idea in vedika's ear)

Vedika: mmm...dhruv, i dont know..risky hai

Dhruv: Dont worry..main hoon na...chalo 😉

At the counter bit

Titu singh is standing there waiting for them to pay their money (he has a smile on his face as he thinks he is going to turn rich tonight 😆)

Dhruv: Acha..titu singh, thank u very much for the food...it was amazing, but all good things come to and end...sooo kitna bill hua?

Titu singh: Sab jhi, woh...yeh receipt dekho

Dhruv and vedika both looked at it, the bill came to 15,00 rupees..(which isnt alot for dhruv..but at the moment it is)

Dhruv: Acha titu singh..main abhi paise nikal ta ho...

Dhruv again looks in his pockets and nothings there..."oops..i think i left my wallet at the table, let me go and get it"

Titu singh: Haan, haan jao jao (he cant wait to get his hand on the money 😆)

Dhruv and vedika walk towards the table, dhruv pretends he is looking for his wallet but in actual fact he is talking to vedika about their plan.. "okay, vedika...now start fighting with me, and once everyones gets involved we have to get the hell out of her okay?"

Vedika: Dhruv..i'm scared 😳 😆

Dhruv: Kuch nahin hoga...chalo..lets start 😉

Dhruv: (shouts loudly) Vedika...u r so useless!! I told you to keep my wallet safely..where did it go?

Vedika: (shouts back) Hey duffer, how do i know where it is? It must be where u kept it last!

Dhruv: I put it in ur hands!!!

Vedika: If you had put it in my hands..it would be there, but see (she puts both of her hands infront of dhruv's face) nothing there!

Dhruv: I can see that!

By now they are attracting alot of attention from the customers, titu singh runs his way down to their table (he looks so funny while running 😆)

Titu singh: Kya hua saabjhi?

Dhruv: My wife, shes lost my wallet!

Vedika: I haven't

Dhruv: Have 😡

Vedika: Havent, havent, havent!!! 😡

Titu singh: "oye kuriay...dheere se bola..plzzz" Anyways bucho..i need my money, bas...i dont care agar tumhare wallet nahin hai, bas mujhe paise chahiya, You ate everything in the world and now u cant pay me? chi chi chi 😆 Suit wuit penkay aato hai, leken koi pesay nahin!

Dhruv: Ask my wife where it is!

Vedika pushes dhruv..."i told u nah, i havent got it! 😡"

Dhruv pushes her back.."u got into this mess, now u sort it out" 😡

A man sitting in the dabaa comes forward and pushes dhruv..."oye, never do u push a woman" 😆

Dhruv: "eh, to kaun hota hai mujhe yek kehne wala?" Shes my wife, dhruv pushes him back...

...Then suddenly 5 other men gather around dhruv, vedika and titu singh, everyone is screaming on the top of their voices...

Titu singh: Mera paisa..mera paisa 😭 😡 😆

Vedika looks at dhruv, he winks at her...

By now the crowd has got bigger and bigger, with people shoving each other, Dhruv gets a glass bottle and smashes it on the floor, everyones looks towards the direction of the noise and quickly dhruv and vedika run for their lives into their car 😆 They manage to get into the car just in time, titu singh runs after their car for a good 5 mintues but then he cant keep up...

Dhruv and vedika are laughing hysterically in the car 😆 😆

Dhruv: See, vedika..now dats wat i call mazaa! 😆

Vedika: (laughs) haan, haan mazaa!

Dhruv puts his hand on vedikas hand while driving..

Dhruv: Vedika, my jaan..im sorry i pushed u, it was the only way 😳

Vedika looks at dhruv and smiles

Vedika: I enjoyed it, especially pushing you back...and did u see that guy who came defending me? was he hot or was he hot 😆

Dhruv immediately takes his hand off vedika's hand, vedika laughs...

Vedika: Awww, my jaanu, no one can get as hot as u 😆 She gets closer to dhruv, and kisses him on the cheek 😳

Dhruv responds immediately, and stops the car..and kisses her back..on the lips 😆 😳

Vedika: Dhruv!!! Drive the car properly..we'll finish this off when we get home 😆

Soo...it is the morning after that hectic night with the sardar...

Vedica wakes up, but for some reason she feels very down. She can't figure out why...Oh, obviously, she thought. It's because of that prank we played on the poor sardar last night. Poor guy, he's only trying to make a decent living...it was fun that we got out, we had to, she thinks. 😭

Ved turns around to Dhruv. He's not there! But he promised to be there every morning to wish her good morining! Oh, where is he now? 😭

Just then, Dhruv comes into the room. He had gone somewhere.

Ved: Where have you been?😡

Dhruv: I know I shouldn't have left without telling you. I am sorry that I couldn't get here on time. I thought I could get back from the dhabba before you wake.😭

Ved: The dhabba? Why did you go there? 😕

Dhruv: I woke up early to go there. I couldn't live with that burden in my mind. I couldn't have taken advantage of a poor man. So, I went to give him his money. I gave him 2,000 rupees and told him that I was sorry for the problems yesterday. That was the only way and he wouldn't have understood the situation otherwise, etc. I told him all that and he was so happy. He said that he understood and really liked my honesty. He also said sorry to you for scaring you. 😃

Ved: Oh Dhruv! You are such a darling! You went to give him the money...I am so touched. You have a big heart. Thank you for doing that. I couldn't be in peace with myself with that burden either. 😊

She goes upto him and hugs him😳. Could anyone be any cuter?😉 Then the kiss and start getting carried away.

Tara bursts into the room: Bhaiyaa! Bhabi! Oooooo....I am so sorry...I...I think I will just go now. 😳 She blushes, from pink to red to crimson.

Dhruv: (Rolls his eyes and looks at his little sis😆. His anger goes away). It's ok, don't worry. Tell me, what is it?

Ved who is very embarrassed, gets herself together.

Tara: I...um...just came to tell you that...Mummy is calling you downstairs because Bhabis' mom has come.

Tara leaves in a hurry.

Dhruv and Ved comes down to see a very worried looking Uma. Ved goes to her and asks her what's the matter. Uma says that something terrible has happened, Uma's second cousin has had a stroke, so she came to take them to the village to go see him. They are very upset to hear the news.

Dhruv is more so since Ved has to leave. He thinks that he will go with them. 😭

Dhruv: I want to go too.😃

Viren: I am afraid you cannot. There are some problems at the office that needs your attention. The foreign representatives from Duval Int. want to meet you. I am sorry beta, but you have to attend. It's not in my hands.

Dhruv: But I want to go...😆

Ved: Dhruv, it's ok, we are going only for a few days. We will be back soon. Don't worry about me, please carry on with your responsibilities. I will be fine. Mom and Nih are also going with me.

Dhruv tries to protest but Ved gives him a warning look and Dhruv gives in. 😳

Ved goes upstairs to pack. Dhruv follows. He is upset, but can't do a thing about it.

Ved busy packing: Take care of yourself while I am away. Take your vitamins on time. Turn off the lights before you go to sleep, you always forget to do that. Don't spill water all over the bathroom when you take a bath, it's dangerous to have water on the floor, you might slip on it and get hurt. Take your lunch on time and dinner. Don't miss me too much. I will though😭...Dhruv! Are you listening?😡🤢

Dhruv: Oh! What? Sorry...

Ved sees that he is upset and goes and hugs him. She treats him like a kid and tries to make him understand how important it is for her to be with that sick man at this time of his life. Ved says that that uncle is a very good man and helped her mom a lot when she was first widowed. He's her mom's best friend and they are very close even though they are only distant cousins.😊

Dhruv pouts and says nothing. 😳

Ved: Ok then I won't go. You always have to have things your way...😕

Dhruv realizes that his is important to her and he's being selfish. 😃

Dhruv: It's ok, I will be fine. Go, it's more important for you to be there now.

Ved smiles. She knew he would say that. She just had to act upset to get him to understand. So she gives him a hug and leaves the room after ordering him to bring her 2 heavy luggages 😆

Dhruv can't believe how she managed to get 2 heavy luggages packed so fast.

Dhruv: (smiles) Girls...😳

Then he follows her carrying those two suitcases, looking very much like a traditional husband.😆

Vedika is about to sit in the car parked outside their house when she sees dhruv face, its all sad! She goes up to him and puts her hand on his cheeks

Vedika: Oye! Dont miss me much nah? She's crying slightly

Dhruv: I..I..wont miss u at all, (He laughs and is teary at the same time) 😭

Vedika hugs dhruv and tells him that she loves him..., she sits in the car waving at dhruv, she opens the window

Vedika: Remember dhruv, follow all my instructions!!

Dhruv: He blows a kiss to her 😳 jaan, i will do...! i'll miss u!

Vedika: Me too 😭 bye!!

Dhruv: Bye

The car leaves for uma ji's house.

Back in the house

Dhruv is in his bedroom...getting ready to go to office.

FLASH!

Take care of yourself while I am away. Take your vitamins on time.

Dhruv: (thinks to himself) My vitamins...where are they? 😕 😆

Dhruv searches for his vitamins everywhere in his room but still cant find them, so he decides to call vedika..ring ring...

Dhruv: Hello jaan!

Vedika: (shocked) Tum?! Ive only been gone 10 minutes 😆

Dhruv: (thinks to himself) What a nice way to reply! Haan woh...vedika, i dont know where you keep my vitamins

Vedika: (laughs)Bilkuul buddho ho tum! 😆 I know tumne phone kiya because u were missing me nah? Acha..neways ur vitamins are on the bedside tables middle draw, lying next to my jewelley box

Dhruv hits himself on the forhead..

Dhruv: Oops...i think i forgot to look there...😆 okay jaan, i better go now..bye, luv u!

Vedika: Luv u 2!

Dhruv eats his medicines and makes his way to go to office

In the office

Dhruv has attended his meeting with the representatives from Duval Int, it is now 5 past 12 (afternoon) Dhruv looks at his watch...

Flash!

Take your lunch on time and dinner.

Dhruv: Oh shit!..vedika told me to each lunch on time 😆 He then quickly orders lunch for himself and sends vedika a message saying

"Mere pyaar biwi..i had lunch on time"

Vedika replies saying "well done..shabaash" 😆

Dhruv is proud of himself that he has been following vedika's instructions all day 😆

Dhruv: (thinks to himself) yaar..not one day is over yet,and i miss her soooo much! 😭

For dhruv it seems like he has been in the office for ageees, but eventually time comes for him to go home, he isnt excited as he would be normally because he knows that there is no one to have dinner with bak home...(awww) But as vedika's instructions said, he has dinner on time too 😃

In the bedroom

Dhruv opens the door and sees the bed lying empty, he loosens his tie, takes off his jacket and throws it on the bed. He then picks up a photo of vedika and kisses it..😳

Flash!

Don't spill water all over the bathroom when you take a bath

Dhruv: Chalo, lets take a bath 😆

About 10 mins later dhruv comes out of the bathroom without cleaning the floor...

A servant enters his room

Servant: Saabjhi, shall i clean the bathroom?

Dhruv: No no, ill do it myself...(hehe)

And eventually he does...it takes him atleast 20 mins...(aww) after he has cleaned the bathroom, he is so tired that he falls on his bed, he is just abt to gaze off to sleep wen..he remembers vedika saying : Turn off the lights before you go to sleep.

He quickly does so and wen he returns to his bed he dials vedika's number

Dhruv: Hi jaan

Vedika: (yawns) Dhruv why r u phoning me at 12 at midnight?

Dhruv (innocent voice) Oh..im so sorry 😳

Vedika: Aree...dont be sorry, hehe...u okay?

Dhruv: Yep..im fine...(in a kids voice) Vedika..u know today im proud of myself!

Vedika: Kyon?

Dhruv: Well you know watever u told me to do, i did it...took my vitamins, ate food properly, cleaned the bathroom floor MYSELF, turned off the lighst...

Vedika: (cuts him off)...laughs..awww dhruv, i love u,my sweeto!

Dhruv: But vedika...theres one thing i didnt do

Vedika: Kya?

Dhruv: You told me not too miss u too much right?

Vedika: yep...

Dhruv: Well i didnt do dat, coz i miss u too much 😭 (dhruv cant speak properly because he is crying a little)

Vedika: Dhruv, my jaan..ill be there in a couple of days..uncle's doing better than before now..so ill be with u soon

Dhruv: (manages to speak) Jaldi aana! Good night jaan, luv u!

Vedika: Good night, sleep tight, dont let the bed bugs bite!

Dhruv goes to sleep eventually hugging tightly onto a cusion! (aww 😳)

Okay guyz i know there wasnt any drama or romance in that, i just wanted to show u guyz how much dhruv loved vedika...hehe, thanks to maisha for the idea, because i took it from her last episode in which vedika gives dhruv instructions..hope u guyz enjoyed! 😃

Two days and 37 calls later😆, Ved is back; after her uncle's recovery of course. She BACK! But poor Dhruv doesn't know that you see. He's still at the office, missing her 😭😆 She thought it just might be fun to give him a sruprise when he gets home.

Dhruv, calls Ved to tell her for the 38th time that he is missing her. 😆

Dhruv: 😳Hey my love, how are you?

Ved: I am fine (smiles naughtily while sitting on their bed, munching away her favorite Swiss chocolate). She is thinking that it would be just brilliant to make him jealous, so she says...Oh it's great here. Uncle is doing fine, so his son, Jas, is showing me around the place. You remember Jas, na? He is the neurosurgeon from the U.S. He's so cool I tell you...and his accent! Ah...Oh, Dhruv, you are like my best friend, I can tell you everything! So, let me tell you this...I think he's HOT! 😆 Wait! He's trying to tell me something, let me put you on hold for a second, hold on ok?

Ved puts the cell on hold and laughs, she couldn't control is any longer. He must be burning with jealousy, she thinks. 😆 So...she straightens up and holds the phone to her ear again...

Ved: Yes, back. He's so sweet, he said that I have a beautiful voice! But, that's not all, he also said that I look very beautiful!😆

Dhruv on the other side of the phone is going crazy with rage, that guys better pray that he never faces me, he thinks bitterly. Then, he suddenly looks at his hand. He was holding his pen so tightly that it put a red imprint on his hand.

The poor guy is very upset. He asks Ved in a sad tone...😭

Dhruv: So you are having fun there, huh? What a fool I am, I was thinking that you were missing me, like I am missing you. I was miserable thinking of you and you are having fun with some nutcase in your village. 😆 How pathetic I have been been, I was following those instructions so rigidly that I am tired now. I was starting to realize all the work you do to take care of me and wanted say sorry for all the hard time I give you. But no, you don't even care enough to miss me. Ved tries to call him back. Dhruv has shut off the cell.

Dhruv decides to go home early. He's in no mood to continue working. He is feeling very dejected...😭

Dhruv blinks in disbelief! What? No that can't happen, he thinks...no Ved loves me and me only! But she said that he was "HOT". Hot? Hot? But she never uses that word for anyone, except me. How COULD she say that he's hot? 😡 Dhruv is crazy with jealousy. He tries to get himself a cold glass of water, but he hold the glass so tight that it breaks (it was thin). It cuts his hand very badly. His face is white but he does not react, he stands there frozen, looking at the blood but seeing only that guy and Ved. He is standing there, still and quiet.

Ved had decided to pay him a visit and put him in a good mood after a shock. 😃

Ved walks into Dhruv's cabin now...Veh stops dead when she sees Dhruv standing there, red eyed, watching the blood all over his hand.

Ved out of her trance: Dhruv! Dhruuuv, what HAVE YOU DONE? (Her voice is cracking...she rushes to him) She takes the hand, and tears are streaming down her face. I...I don't know what to do!!!!!!! She looks around with huge crocodile tears in her eyes.😭

Dhruv: What are you doing here? (In disbelief)

Ved: I came in the morning. I was only joking with you. And look what I have done! 😭

Dhruv realizes what's happening. He moves to get a first aid kit and laughs in relief.

Dhruv: And look at me...I was so jealous...God Ved, don't ever do that again ok? Look what happens to me without you. 😛

Ved goes to him, gauges up his wound with tears and anti-bacterials. She keeps saying sorry.😉

Ved: It's all my fault, I am so sorry...

Dhruv: It's ok, now I don't want to see those tears. Let's see a smile...come on...I am fine really😃

Ved: Does it hurt? 😭

Dhruv: No, well...maybe a little. But not as much as that phone call. I am so glad you are back. I get so crazy when I am jealous that I forget that you love me only and won't ever do something like that to me😭...I am sorry Ved.😊

Scene 84 (Dedicated to my Sweetu Khushi and Pyaari Reema Daadi)😳

It is evening time now. Kavita, Viren, Antariksh and Niharika have gone to Antariksh's best friend's wedding. Tara has gone for a sleepover at her friend's house. Titli Maami and Anurag have been invited out to dinner at Titli's maike (Mother's house). That leaves our two love birds...home alone...😉..

Vedika is asleep in their room, tired out from her journey. Dhruv is busy preparing something...😉

At around 7pm, Dhruv enters the room. His eyes land on Vedika, sleeping on their bed. She is on her back, straight, arms resting by her side. He smiles and walks gently up to the bed and sits down next to her.

Dhruv: [Gently] Vedika...

No response or movement from Vedika 😆

Dhruv: [leaning a bit closer] Vedika...

Vedika stirs. She opens her eyes slowly..

Vedika: [lazily, sleepily] Hmmhmh?

Her eyes open and she finds Dhruv staring down at her..their eyes meet ..😉

Dhruv: [smiling] Utho sleeping beauty! [he looks towards the wall clock] Saat baj gaye!

Vedika scowls, turns her face and closes her eyes again.

Vedika: [Murmuring] Paanch minute aur...

Dhruv: [To himself] Maharani ko sirf sone ki pari hein! Aur meine itni saari tayyari ki hein..[shaking his head]..Nahi chalega! [To Vedika] Lekin Maa bula rahi hein!

Vedika's eyes shoot open and she sits up, frantically tying up her hair with a scrunchie

Vedika: [Speaking fast] Oh My God! Saat..Oh no! Mummy ji naraz hogi..Kitne saare kaam hoge rasoi mein..roti bangayi hein kya? Oh no [she hardly pauses to breath] 😆

Dhruv is laughing at her.

Vedika: [jumping out the bed and straightening her sari] Tum kyu has rahe ho! Mummy ji will be so naraaz...khana ka time hogaya hein aur...[she suddenly stops as Dhruv carries on laughing loudly..she looks at him and opens her mouth and eyes wide as realisation dawns on her] Mummy ji to ghar pe hein hi nahi!

Dhruv continues laughing and nods at her in a 'now-you-realise' way.

Vedika puts her hands on her hips and makes a face.

Vedika: [angrily] Mummy ji kya..koi bhi ghar pe nahi hein! [she gives Dhruv a 'look'] Tum..😡 You scared the life out of me! [she turns around, huffly, and folds her arms] Mera neendh kharab kar diya! 😆

Dhruv sobers up, though still smiling and walks up to her, standing behind her. He puts his chin on her shoulder. 😉

Dhruv: [gently] Sorry jaan..

Vedika: [angry] Kya sorry! [Takes a step forward so that Dhruv's head is no longer on her shoulder] I was going to wake up! Mein itni lazy to nahi hu..lekin tumne to mujhe dara hi diya!

Dhruv steps forward too and places his chin on her shoulder again.

Dhruv: [gently] Meine kaha na..I'm sorry..[Kisses her shoulder, and then puts chin back] Ab maaf bhi kardo na..

Vedika: [Stubborn] Tum kyu samajte nahi ho..mein to..

She suddenly stops because Dhruv has suddenly placed a large box infront of her. It's a gift..wrapped in gold paper 😉..He has put it in front of her, his chin still on her shoulder

Vedika: [suprised] Ye..ye kya hein?

Dhruv: [softly] Tumhare liye...

Vedika turns around, causing Dhruv to stand up straight, still holding the box. She looks up at him, eyes shining, all anger forgotten.

Vedika: [Excited] Mere liye?

Dhruv nods, smiling

Vedika: [eyeing the gift] Lekin kyu?

Dhruv: [looking into her eyes] Isiliye to I woke you up ... I have many suprises for you tonight [he winks at her]

Vedika: [confused, but happy] Suprises?

Dhruv: Mm hmm..[he puts the box into her hands] Ab ye kholo

Vedika sits down on the bed, Dhruv next to her. She slowly unwraps the gift. Dhruv is just gazing at her 😉. She opens the box lid. Lying inside is a beautiful satin, deep blue, sleeveless, ankle-lenght dress! It's gorgeous! Vedika gasps as she fingers the material.

Dhruv: [smiling] Achi lagi?

Vedika looks at him and then back at the dress, eyes wide...she slowly nods

Dhruv: [standing up] Acha tum ye pehnlo..mein yaha khara hu..Don't worry..I won't look at you changing..[to himself, naughtily] Warna I won't be able to help myself..aur kamre mein hi reh jayege hum dono 😆

Vedika just looks up at him suprised.

Vedika: Lekin..Par..

Dhruv: [walking towards the window, back to Vedika] No lekin vekin..jaldi pehnlo...

Vedika shrugs and changes into the dress. Dhruv is a good boy and he doesn't turn round to even peek. 😉

After a few minutes...

Vedika: [timidly] Ready...

Dhruv turns round..his eyes and mouth open wide..he practically drools!! 😆 Cause our Vedika looks drop dead GORGEOUS! The dress fits her perfectly! It has a looong slit on the right leg. Dhruv walks slowly towards her. She is looking down, shy😳

Dhruv: [breathes] Wow...[he gently reaches out with his right hand and carasses her left cheek] [breathes] Beautiful...

Vedika smiles, but she is shy, so she keeps looking down..

Dhruv: [to himself] Sambhal apne aap ko dhruv beta! You knew she'd look totally ravishing..control ..control.😆..[he takes a deeep breath] Tum..ah..tum tayyar ho? [he can't take his eyes off her]

Vedika: [softly] Nahi..woh..[she turns around and walks to her dressing table and starts brushing her hair slowly..avoiding Dhruv's gaze in the mirror]

Dhruv walks slowly behind her, smiling..lost in her beauty..he just gazes and gazes at her

Vedika applies her make up and when she's applied the final touches to her lipstick..she finally meets Dhruv's eyes in the mirror. Her eyes question his in the mirror..'how do I look'😳

Dhruv just smiles..He's lost for words 😉

Suddenly, he fumbles with his coat pocket, and brings out another gold wrapped box, which is long and thin 😉...he opens it and takes out a beautiful beautiful silver and dimamond necklace and from behind, puts it around Vedika's neck. She gasps again.

Vedika: [softly, shocked] Dhruv..

Dhruv: [hooking the necklace at the back] Shhh..[he puts her hair back in place and looks at her reflection in the mirror] [softly] Beautiful!

Vedika: [looking at her reflection, fingering the necklace delicately with one finger] Dhruv..ye...[she's cut off when Dhruv places a silencing finger on her lips]

Dhruv turns her around so now they are looking into each other's eyes

Dhruv: [romantically] Tumhe pata hein Vedika..[gazing into her eyes] Aaj..tum itni khoobsurat lag rahi hi..[he smiles] Tumhe dekh kar to chaand bhi sharmajaye..

Vedika: [lowers her eyes][softly] Dhruv..tum bhi na...

Dhruv: [Fida at her her shyness] Did you like the necklace?

Vedika: [looks up at Dhruv again][softly] Ye bhi koi poochne waali....[she stops and shakes her head slightly] Dhruv..tum kyu ye sab..[again she's cut off by Dhruv]

Dhruv: [taking her hand] Savaal jawaab baad mein! [He leads her towards the door] Right now..suprise number 3 awaits...😉

Dhruv takes her downstairs...past the kitchen..past the living room..past the dining room..and stops outside the garden door.

Dhruv: Acha aankhen band karo

Vedika: [suprised] Par...

Dhruv: [looking at her with pleading puppy dog eyes] Pleeeaase..

Vedika: [smiles] Acha baba..ye lo [and she closes her eyes]

Dhruv opens the garden door and leads her outside. He stops

Dhruv: [gently] Ab aankhen kholo...

SLOWLY, Vedika opens her eyes..and looks around..and gasps for the 3rd time...

What does she see?

The whole garden is lit with candles..and there is a 'table for two' in the middle of the garden. On the table, is one large candle. It's dark outside, but the candles are burning away brightly, giving a warm glow. It looks amazing!!! (imagine it guys 😳)

Dhruv quickly moves to the left and turns on the radio. Soft, romantic music plays in the background..'suraj huwa madham..😉'..He turns back to Vedika..looking at her looking around, amazed.

Vedika: [really amazed] Dhruv..tumne..ye tumne kiya?

Dhruv nods

Dhruv: Kaisa laga?

Vedika walks to the table. It looks soo beautiful! The best cutlery has been put out ready..the candle is burning..there are some beautiful dishes laid out ready..

Vedika: [turning to look at Dhruv] Dhruv..ye..mein to..[she's lost for words]

Dhruv walks up to her and puts his arms around her.

Dhruv: [softly] For you my jaan..[she cuddles up in his arms] To show you how much I missed you!

Vedika: [from his chest] Oh Dhruv...

Ved: I don't want to start an argument in the midst of a candlelight dinner. You are better than most husbands when it comes to listening to his wife and that's a compliment, mind you.😉

Dhruv jumps up in shock. Looks angrily as Ved who is going crazy with laughter.

Dhruv: Ved! What was that for?

😆Ved: For yesterday.

Dhruv: I worked hard on a romantic evening to get this!?

Ved: Nah...the romantic evening was great but you said that I had numberous husbands and I promised to pay you back, so here you are...(she throws some more water at him).

Dhruv: Ah....Ved....(cutely drenched)😳

Ved: You said you couldn't wait, I didn't want to be late so...I got back at you as soon as I awoke.

Dhruv: I will get you for this...(he starts at Ved and chases her around the room)

Finally he grabs her and picks her up. Both are laughing, looking very cute together. 😃

Kavita knocks at the door. 🤢

Kav: Is everything ok you guys?🤢

Dhruv: Yes, mum...everything is fine. We will be down in a few minutes...

Ved tries to straighten up but Dhruv doesn't let her go.

Dhruv: You have to say sorry before I let you go for waking me up with that wonderful surprise.

Ved laughing: Never.

Dhruv: Suit yourself. (He doesn't let me go) I can embrace you like this forever. 😆

Dhruv is lying on the bed, with his hand on his chest. Vedika comes in, smiles looking at him and sits at the end of the bed. Dhruv is grinning away with his eyes closed!

Vedika: [Turns her head] Kya baat hai? Aaj bare khush lagrahe ho?

Dhruv:[still with his eyes closed] Haa...kitno dino baad chuti mili hai. Aaj to mein pura din sauooga.

Vedika:[ twists her whole body] Pura din?

Dhruv: Haan...pura din!

Vedika: Tum mazaak karahe ho na?

Dhruv: [opens his eyes, and looks down where she is sitting] Arre...mein mazaak kyon karuga!

Vedika: To koi surprise vurprise nahi- [bites her tongue in regret of what she just said😆]

Dhruv: [gets up and slides down to where she is sitting, Vedika faces the other way in a huff] Vedika...[turns her face towards him,she's still sulking] Tumhe yeh laga tha...

Vedika: [gets up, has her back to him] Mujhe kuch nahin laga tha...tumhe din bhar sona hai to please do!

Dhruv: [feels guilty...he gets up and puts his hands on her shoulder] Uh...vedika. Mein to mazaak karaha tha. Ofcourse maine tumhare liye ek surprise rakha hai.

Vedika: [smiles gleefully and lifts her eyebrows. She turns round to face him] Really?

Dhruv: [unsure] Ofcourse jaanu!

Vedika: [excited] Kya hai?

Dhruv: [smiles uncomfortably] You naughty naughty girl. Agar mein tumhe bata dooga...to surprise kaisa!

Vedika: I don't mind! Batao na [pleads like a child]

Dhruv: Vedika..woh..

PHONE RINGS!!

Dhruv: Phone hai!

Vedika: Heh?

Dhruv: [jumpy] Phone bajraha hai. Main usse uthata hoo! Teekh hai.

Vedika: [frowns at his weird behaviour]

Dhruv picks up the phone.

Dhruv: [gulps] Hello?

Dhruv: Kya? Lekin...but ....teekh hai! [Puts the phone down slowly]

Vedika: [goes to him] Ab batao...kya hai surprise.

Dhruv: [laughs again uncomfortably] Surprise yeh hai...ke mujhe jaana hai.

Vedika: [lifts her head from an angle] KYA? Kaha?

Dhruv: Woh office- [cut off by Vedika]

Vedika: [shouts]Office? Tumne to kaha ke tum nahin jaa rahe aaj.

Dhruv: [tries to calm down and at the same time is looking frightened] Woh kya hai na darling...office ke kaam se thore liye bahar jaana hai, kisi client ko milne jaana hai. Aur phir ek -dher ghante ka kaam office mein hai...phir mein vapas aajaooga! Please mujhe jaane do [holds his ears]

Vedika: [holds his wrists ,moves his hands down and smiles] Acha..teekh hai. Jaldi vapas aa jana! [points her finger at him] Samjhe?

Dhruv: [kisses the tip of her finger😳] Samaj gaya! [He goes to change quickly and then he is about to leave for office]

Vedika: Dhruv?

Dhruv: [turns round] Hmm?

Vedika:[nicely with an angelic voice] Koi surprise nahin tha..na?

Dhruv: [trying to find his words] Nahin...woh. Ofcourse tha..woh to office-

Vedika: Its ok. Ab jao. [shakes her head]

After a 3-4 hours. Dhruv has had his meeting with his client, he goes back to the office. He walks through the corridors. The workers say 'good-afternoon' to him as he walks past them. He opens the cabin door in full swing....looks up and is shocked!

Dhruv:[quietly to himself] Vedika? Yaha?

Vedika is on his chair, has glasses on and is looking down at some papers as if she is working hard.😆

Dhruv: [walks towards her] Vedika? Tum yaha kya karahi ho?

Vedika: [looks up and lifts her glasses up with her index finger] Dikhai nahin deta? Kaam karahi ho!

Dhruv: [folds his arms] Acha?

Vedika: Aur nahin to kya? [looks down and starts reading again carefully😆]

Dhruv sits down in the chair opposite her.

Dhruv: [just keeps on looking at her innocent and laughing]

Vedika: [Notices this and looks up giving a stern look] Yeh hasi kaise Mr.raizada? [lifts her glasses once again]

Dhruv: [tries to stop laughing] Kuch nahin madam.

Vedika: Hmm...[carries on pretending]

Dhruv: Um madam...aapko kuch chahiye? Juice,coffee ya chai?

Vedika: [looks up again] Idhar aao.

Dhruv: [points towards himself] Mein?

Vedika: Haa tum! JALDI KARO!

Dhruv comes and stands next to her chair.

Vedika: [takes her glasses off] Yaha aao [making gestures with her finger]

Dhruv bends down excitedly.

Vedika: Aur paas...[Dhruv bends down closer]

Vedika: Aur paas... [he bends down closer to her, faces are near eachother]

Vedika: [quietly] Aur paas....[now just a millimetre of space between their lips😳]

Vedika: [shouts]YEH! [places a piece of thin piece of card between the little distance between them, Dhruv jumps at her loud voice] Invitation card....[waves the card]

Dhruv: [straightens himself up, and takes the invitation of her and looks at it] Kiska invitation?

Vedika: [stands up] To your college re-union.

Dhruv: [looks at the card even more carefully]

Vedika: [in her normal voice] To actually surprise tha!

Dhruv: [gets an idea] Ofcourse jaanu! Yehi to...tha!

Vedika: Great! Mujhe bhi tumhare purane doston se milne ka moka milega

Dhruv: [to himself] Dost hoge to na!😆

Vedika: Kuch kaha tumne?

Dhruv: nahin to...[gives a false smile]

Vedika: Toh...hum jaa rahe hai,na? [puts on her innocent look]

Dhruv: [sighs and nods his head] Hmm...
