Part 6
Prithvi is throwing a party, he invites Kripa
K - I'll come on one condition
Pr - what?
K - Anju and Prachi can come aswell with their boyfriends
Pr - but Kripa!!!
K - no buts either we all come or none of us
Pr - but why do you even hang out with them, ok I understand Prachi but Anjali? she's so....
K - she's so what?
Pr - nothing, fine if you want them to come they can
K - good
Prithvi's face clearly shows his dislike for Anjali and Prachi but agrees for Kripa's sake. Later the girls are out shopping for outfits to wear at the party. At the shopping mall.....
K - come on Anjali you have to wear something nice
An - what's wrong with salwar kameez?
P - nothing sweetie but its not something you wear to parties
An - fine you guys pick some clothes
K - perfect
The girls shop for hours and then get ready at Kripa's house. Kripa wears a red backless dress, Prachi wears blue jeans with a glitter top while Anjali wears trousers and a top. The girls get into Kripa's car and head to Prithvi's house, Prithvi comes outside once he sees Kripa, he hugs her
Pr - hi Anjali, Prachi
An/P - hi
K - Prithvi have Varun or Yug come?
Pr - I don't know.....heck I don't even know who they are
Prachi and Anjali look at Kripa who hits Prithvi's arm
K - well you should know who they are, anyways girls lets go inside and see if they're here
The girls agree and follow Kripa and Prithvi inside, Anjali looks around and spots Varun standing by a group of guys, she nudges Prachi
An - Varun's there
P - yeah I saw him
An - then why don't you go to him
P - I will....after Yug gets here, I can't leave you alone
Anjali smiles and hugs Prachi, Varun looks towards them hoping Prachi comes to him but when she doesn't he gets irritated and walks out, Prachi sees and excuses herself after Yug comes, Prachi finds Varun standing by a tree with a can of beer in his hand
P - what?
V - ......
P - why are you so moody?
V - what you doing here? aren't Kripa and Anjali going to feel lonely without you
P - what is your problem Varun! I told you before they are my best friends and if you can't handle that then that's your problem!
V - ok I get that they're your best friends but come on Prachi there's no need for you to stick to them like glue
P - get lost Varun
Prachi begins to walk away when Varun holds her arm and turns her around
V - ok i'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that
P - its ok saying this now but what about when you say it again Varun? I'm telling you now, if you don't like my friends then you can go
V - I like you and if your friends are a part of you then thats fine with me
Varun hugs her but in his mind he is thinking of a way to get Prachi seperate from Anjali and Kripa. While this is happening here inside Kripa and Prithvi are dancing while Anjali is sitting down with Yug, Kripa sees her sitting and goes to her
K - girl come on lets dance
An - no Kripa, you go, I'm fine here with Yug
K - come on please
Pr - if she doesn't want to come then forget her
K - shut up Prithvi
Y - I agree, if Anju wants to stay here let her
K - was I talking to you? Anjali ....
An - ok, Yug lets go
Anjali and Yug follow Kripa and Prithvi to the dancefloor, Yug is holding Anjali close to him and begins whispering in her ear
Y - how did you become friends with Kripa? she's so stuck up
An - shut up Yug, she and Prachi are the only girls that talked to me on my first day here and its because of Kripa that I was never picked on
Y - I get Prachi, she's a nice girl but Kripa?
An - the only reason you're at this party is because Kripa told Prithvi that unless all of us came then she wouldn't
Y - right so today Kripa feels generous and lets us come to her boyfriends party but what about when she doesn't feel generous? we'll all be left out
An - Yug shut up please
Y - its what everyone thinks, Kripa is only being nice to you to keep up her image, you and Prachi are like charity cases to her, she acts nice to you so that all the rich girls look up to her, thats all it is Anjali. Nothing more nothing less
Anjali looks at Yug who nods his head assuring her that what he's saying is true, Anjali looks at Kripa who is laughing with some girls and frowns, Anjali holds Yug's hand
An - lets go
Y - but what about Kripa and Prachi?
An - I'll talk to them tommorow
Y - ok lets go
Yug smiles and leaves with Anjali. Kripa sees them going and runs to them
K - hey where are you going?
An - somewhere else
K - but why?
An - no particular reason, you enjoy your high class party, its not really a place for a low class person like me, lets go Yug
Kripa looks at Yug who has a smirk on his face and instantly knows he has said stupid things to Anjali, Kripa pulls Anjali's arm and turns her around
K - whatever this jerk said to you isn't true Anju
An - yeah right and for your information that jerk is my boyfriend, watch what you say about him
Anjali walks out, Kripa is about to go after her when Prithvi holds her hand
Pr - forget her lets dance
K - but....
Pr - like she said, this party isn't for the likes of her
P - shut up Prithvi! how dare you say that about Anjali
Pr - who's talking to you Prachi? i'm talking to my girlfriend butt out
V - hey Prithvi! do not make the mistake of saying anything to my girlfriend
K - Varun, Prachi please stay out of this, I'll handle Prithvi myself, Prachi can you go after Anjali and see if she's ok
V - why should she? Yug's with her
P - ugh shut up and come with me Varun
Prachi pulls Varun outside, Kripa pulls Prithvi's arm and drags him into another room
K - now what the heck was that?
Pr - what? I only said what Anjali said
K - I get you don't like Anjali but there's no need to be rude like that
Pr - who cares about her
K - I do!
Pr - well she obviously doesn't care about you, if she did then she wouldn't have left like that
Kripa begins to think, Prithvi makes her sit down and sits next to her and puts his arm around her
Pr - the only reason Anjali ever became friends with you so that she could take advantage of your money and status, since she's become friends with you, you've bought her so many clothes and spent so much money on her and taken her to all the parties, has she ever done anything for you?
Kripa frowns, Prithvi holds her hand
Pr - exactly you know what I'm saying is true, Anjali is using you
K - ......no, she's my friend
Pr - wasn't it you who told me that my friends sometimes only liked me for my money? then why are the rules different with you?
Prithvi kisses her cheek and leaves her alone to think. Kripa thinks back to all the things she has done for Anjali and realises Prithvi is right, she shakes off all thoughts and rejoins Prithvi in the party, she hugs him and kisses his cheek
K - you're right, this is the last time I'll ever be so friendly with Anjali, then she'll know not to use Kripa Sharma
Prithvi kisses her forehead and grins as Kripa dances. His work was done, he made a mental note to thank Yug for turning Anjali against Kripa, now all was left was Prachi. Prachi arrives at Anjali's house with Varun, she is about to go in when Varun stops her
P - what now?
V - why do you care what happens between Kripa and Anjali?
P - because they're my friends
V - since when do they care about you?
P - what?
V - look I wasn't going to tell you this but I overheard Kripa and Anjali talking
P - you did?
V - this whole fight was staged Prachi, they had planned everything
P - what? but why...
V - to see whose side you would take, to see how you would react so that they can laugh at you later
P - Varun, you're making this up
Varun holds her hands and looks into her eyes
V - I would never say anything or make up anything to hurt you, Prachi I like you a lot, believe me those girls don't consider you their friend
P - then why.....
V - Anjali is easy, she's using you for your money and Kripa well, she's in it for a laugh
Prachi looks towards Anjali's house then gets into the car, Varun smiles at himself and gets into the car aswell and drives Prachi home. That night all three girls are in their bedrooms thinking about whats happened. Anjali can't believe Kripa considers her a charity case and is also upset that Prachi hasn't answered any of her calls. Prachi is angry at Anjali and Kripa for staging the fight and that Anjali is only friends with her because she is rich and Kripa is only friends with her for her own amusement. Kripa is hurt that Anjali had never considered her as a friend and had only acted as a friend because of all the nice things she had got her, Kripa is also sad that Prachi isn't answering her calls
coming up - the girls get into major fights with each other resulting in the current bitterness they have for each other.
There's only one more part of the past left then it will be back to the present😊
