2nd half:-
Angad stepped forward and placing his hand on her shoulder, he turned her around and started. As soon as he saw the girl's face he thought that he was highly mistaken and was hallucinating. 'No, it can't be', he thought. The young woman standing in front of him was the same girl who had flicked his cab and had the nerve to yell at him at probably no mistake of his. Angad now understood why she had hidden her face from him.
Kripa saw his expression change from confusion to recognition to astonishment to fury and then nothing at all. His face went all stony revealing nothing as to what he was thinking. 'Boy, this could mean trouble', she thought.
Angad knew she was trying to follow what was going on his mind and noticed her exasperation. He smirked knowing that right now she was at his mercy. He knew just one word to Alex and then she would be in trouble. He knew the boss's anger was quite unnerving. He debated between keeping the incident a secret between them or revealing it to the boss. He had almost decided on the latter to teach the woman a lesson when he peered into her pleading almond shaped eyes begging him to remain mum. But he also caught hints of annoyance and irritation. Stubbornness and attitude glimmered and lurked behind those bluish-green curtains.
He at last decided to keep the matter in wraps for now and deal with her personally when they were quite alone (ahem). Putting forth his right hand and his famous mock-grin in place, he asked, "And you are?" He noticed her eyes flash between surprise and annoyance and saw her checking him out suspiciously. He knew the annoyance was because of the fact he had the upper hand in the uninitiated battle. "Kripa. Kripa Sharma," was all she said.
"Ah! Glad to meet you, Ms. Sharma. In fact very-very glad."
"Oh! No, Mr. Khanna, the pleasure is all mine," she replied. He caught the sarcastic tone which he was sure was meant indiscreetly in all respects for him.
Kripa saw his right eyebrow rise in response to her reply. She knew she was taking her chances but she couldn't stop herself. She observed that he was a couple of inches more that 6 ft. He had a sharp face cut with a rugged look and dark chocolaty brown eyes and had a handsome fighting chin. He looked strong and was in excellent shape. He was a type of guy for whom every girl would die for. But unfortunately (for her, sigh) looks weren't sufficient to win her heart. She sure hated his arrogant smirk.
While turning back, he gently nudged her hand making her drop the pen. She quickly caught up with his plan. He wanted her to bend down in front of him and pick up the pen. Boy, it was a clash of two egos. Neither of them moved. Finally it was Josh who bent down and picked the pen up. Kripa thanked Josh and then facing her other seniors, she asked if they could start the meeting. The game had begun.
