Character Sketch

Khanna Parivaar

Dilip Khanna – owner of Khanna Productions, a family man, loves his kids a lot, has a beautiful wife, never likes to disappoint his kids and always does what they want


Naina Khanna – wife of Dilip, she is the perfect mother and wife, she does anything for her kids and helps her husband out at work, she also does all the work at home


Prithvi Khanna – 27 years old, oldest son of Dilip and Naina, helps his father out in business and is Angad's manager, has a beautiful wife, Mishty Khanna and has one son


Mishty Khanna – 26 years old, oldest daughter of Suryabhan Sharma(Kripa's sister, Suryabhan and Gayatri do not exist in the story because they're dead), wife of Prithvi, helps Prithvi at work and helps mother-in-law with housework, also takes care of Angad and Aaliya as if they were her own kids


Rahul Khanna – son of Prithvi and Mishty, loves his chachu and bua a lot, does not have a major part in this story


Angad Khanna – 24 years old, second of the Khanna Children, he is an actor in bollywood, one of the best (obviously), he loves his family very much and is very obedient, will do anything his parents say, loves his brother and sister to death, a big flirt,has been in a serious relationship once and after that he became a big flirt.

Aaliya Khanna – 21 years old, youngest child of Dilip and Naina, she loves her brothers very much, and is the jaan of them, against the thought of an arranged marriage


Sharma Parivaar

Dev Sharma – principal of Mumbai Acting School (don't know if it's a real school, made it up on the spot) and chairman of Sharma Group of Industries, has a wife, two sisters and one brother. Loves his family a lot. After parents died, he took care of his siblings and business.


Kaajjal Sharma – wife of Dev, housewife but occasionally helps out husband with students and work, loves husband very much, Kripa and Kaajjal are really good friends before Dev and Kaajal got married (they still are), treats mishti, josh, and kripa like her kids, for more reason than one…


Kripa Sharma – 23 years old, second daughter of Suryabhan, (first is Mishty), studied in London for singing, missed her sister's wedding due to exams, has never met Angad, is the life of her brothers, and parents, lively, pretty, aspiring singer, wants to become one of india's biggest singers, will do anything her family want her to even if it's against her dreams


Josh Sharma – 22 years old, youngest of the Sharma children, a famous singer, also missed his sister's wedding because he was on tour, has never met anyone from Khanna family before, fun, hot, a big flirt, wants a serious relationship and doesn't believe in arranged marriages


Other Characters

Karthik – Angad's best friend, they've been friends since they were in diapers, believes that love and marriage only hurts(there is a secret behind why he feels this way), doesn't believe in it, doesn't like kids either


Kanan – Kripa's best friend, fashion designer, wants to meet her prince charming


Chandini – Kanan's daughter, more details about her will be told later in the story


Dadi – She is Angad's dadi. Angad loves his dadi and dadi loves Angad a lot. Dadi is also related to someone else in this story. Can you guess who?


Ok guys, so here's the character sketch. I know you guys were used to Misthy and Prithvi being brother and sister so if anybody doesn't like the way they are, please let me know so that I can switch them around. I'll have the 1st part to the ff up soon. Promise

Part 1

Angad looked out the window. Is he really going to do this? No, the real question was 'Is he ready to do this?' Is he really going to live the rest of his life with someone he had only seen the picture of? He was going to get married to a girl whom he had only seen a picture of and only knew her name, Kripa, Kripa Sharma. His parents had come to pick him up from the airport the day they told Peter that they had arranged his marriage. Angad had just come back from London after finishing his education. They were sitting in the car, when Angad's mother spoke up.
Naina - "Angad, tumhare shaadi ke baare mein kya rai hai?"
Out of shock, Angad replied, "Mom, mein abhi settle hone keliye tayaar nahin hoon. Mujhe apne dono pero pe khada hona hai pehle. Mujhe apne parivaar ko support karne keliye kuch bana chahta hoon."
Dilip - "Hum samajhsakte hai, lekin hum yehi chahte hai ke tum jald se jald shaadi karlo. Humne tumhare liye ek ladki bhi chunli hai aur mahurat bhi the karvaya hai ek saal bad ke liye."
Angad - "Kya! Lekin aap aise kaise kar sakhti hai? Meri shaadi meri merzi jaane begair kaise te kardi aap logo ne?"
Dilip - "Kyun ki hum tumhare ma baap hai, aur hum jaante hain ke tumhare liye kya sahi hai aur kya bhura."
Angad - "Theekh hai, lekin kya mein uski ek phot dekh sakhta hu ya uska naam jaansakta hu, kuch bhi?"
Naina - "Apne bhabhi se pooch lo. Uski to behn he who."
Angad - "Kya kaha apne? Bhabhi ki behn. Lekin bhabhi ki behn London me nahin rehti?"
Dilip - "Who rehti thi, lekin padhayi karne ke baad who waapas India agayi."
Angad – "Theekh hai to mein bhabhi se hi pooch loonga."
They reached home and everyone greeted him. Angad looked everywhere for bhabhi, but couldn't find her. When he asked Prithvi, his brother, he said that she had gone to her maayka and wouldn't be back for a couple of weeks.
Prithvi – "Usne tumhare liye yeh photo chhoda hai. Shayad tumhare kaam ayega."
Angad ran up to his room and opened the envelope. The picture he saw shocked him.


He was like, do I have to marry her? Then he threw the photo to the ground. It was then that he noticed…

So what is it that Angad noticed? Stay tuned for the next part. Hope you guys liked it. I know the picture is Jassi, but in my ff, there is no show called Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. That's why I used the picture.
If you cannot understand my hindi, please let me know. I'm not very good in hindi. After all, I live in the U.S.
