Well, the four had a marvelous time after that......dancing with each other.....talking about different things.....joking....pulling legs(Raj did it best to Naina, and how she liked it!)......the entire evening.....
....when the party was about to end.....the General came to the center of the hall.....took the mike.....
"AHEM-AHEM...."
Everyone turned to pay attention to their superior.....it was an indication of a speech.....people straightened......
"Well, Ladies and Gentlemen....another wonderful army ball is over......and we shall be back once again to our regular lives. Army has taken up the responsibility of protecting India from evil in any possible way.....Indian Army has a proud history of various glorious deeds of its soldiers and officers.....Today, I take the opportunity to congratulate and applaud one army officer the nation is immensely proud of......I am proud to announce that, Major Shekhavat, has shown outstanding bravery and courage under severe circumstances......is now awarded the position of COLONEL RAJVEER SINGH SHEKHAVAT!!!!"
....And the hall was filled with cheer and applaud......Rajveer and Naina were taken by the most pleasent surprise ever!!!!......Happy was too small a word for what they felt......Rajveer stepped near the Genral, who hugged him.....and said,
"Raj, I am soo proud of you!! Keep it up!"

Now the function was over, and the four friends went to their cars.....It was around 11.00pm and Dr.Shalini suggested that they went to the nearby cafe'. Al of them left.....Rajveer sent their official car away, and Naina's Limo had disappeared....so they decided to settle into Yudi's cool car and drive to Sohna Lake.....where Yudi was staying......
Well, Sohna Lake is a quiet place near Delhi, where people come to unwind. It was a time of the year when there are a very few tourist...due to rains.....but the lake became picturesque at night.....They decided to go there and halt at a cafe on the way.....
Coffee Place was on the way....and Yudi decieded to book two rooms, each for Shalini and the couple for the night....they had decieded to stay there that night, and then return back to Delhi, early next day.

So they got off the car at the cafe, and started off chatting....Where had Yudi been, how did Shalini encounter him, how were things aT the KMA......and so on.....
Well, Yudi had left the academy, before the mission of nuclear triggers......but when he was leaving for USA, his conscious reminded him of what Captain had told him......he was going away being a loser.....and he dint want to do that.....he returned and joined the mission and completed it successfully by saving Rajveer from a bad trap of the enemies......
......however the wound on his self-respect was too deep to be cured easily.....he was taken to the hospital, after being injured during the mission.....from where he left for USA......bidding a loving goodbye to all the friends......
Yudi was constantly in touch with Dr.Shalini.....they were NOT in love......to make things clear.....but Shalini found that one man, she always wanted, who would do anything for her! Their relation dint have a name......but was definitely not love......maybe more than that!
Shalini was still the Doc at the academy....and the academy was still the same.....disciplined, strict, and yet fun......but bore only two changes.....first, Lolita had been finally been won by Suriji and were married....and second, and the one that baught a biggest grin on the faces of two people on the table.....who suddenly felt the urge to hold each other's hands......the "Hall of Fame" bore 'Shaheed Captain Naveen Singh Ahluwalia"'s photo.....and everyone looked at him with pride and respect!
...the chat went on....and....on....for 1 and a half hours....it was around 2.00AM, when they were nearing the resort....Yudi spoke to the manager and told the room no. to all....and was explaining them about the beautiful place.....Naina looked out of the window.....
.....the picture outside was unbelievable.....paradise.....it was the full moon night....and the moonlight reflected on the lake.....the sand was shining and with cold breeze, and absolute silence.....it felt like heaven.....Naina sat next Rajveer and gave him a nudge.....Rajveer looked at her.....their eyes met.....and the decision was made.....they were getting off......
"Arr....Yudi....what time in the morning are we going back?"
"8.30 sir!"
"Oh thats late.....Raj to subah subah 5.30 ko uth jayega.....aur phir......woh hitler ban jata hai....."
".....woh tum itne chain se soti ho.....to mujh se raha nahin jata......by the way Shalini, you look sleepy!"
"Yes I am sleepy. Its 2.15, Raj, what do you expect?"
"....kya yaar! mujhe neend nahin aa rahi....."
"....mujhe bhi nahin!"
"So you guys want to go somewhere? We can drop off Doctor to her room and then......"
"How bout a walk Naina?", Raj got nervous....('that moron Yudi wants to join us....!')
Shalini was smiling slightly....sleepishly.....and murmured something like....'Ullu....kabab main haddi!'.....but was not clear....
"Sure!"
"Are Naina....there's a point....say 10kms from here.....where....", someone stamped on his foot sharply.....as if to quiet him......he glanced sideways at Shalini, who was glaring at him.....
"Ahhh....ummmm....woh....main.....Sir, you continue....I am damn sleepy!"
He pulled his car near a pavement.... and Naina and Rajveer got off....as they waved the other two a goodbye.....their hands met....holding each others hands firmly.....with a smirk on both's faces.......
