Zoran looked at me and Dragan strangely, but he immediately turned his head to the other side. There was an uncomfortable silence in the car that to this day I'm not sure how it came about between us. Zoran fell silent and I thought he was in pain, and Dragan was watching Zoran from behind me. A strange feeling at that moment.

We arrived at the hospital in the neighboring town. We slowly got out of the car and Dragan helped Zoran get into the wheelchair and he pushed him to the doctor. We had to wait a while until the doctor was free. When he examined him, he found that his nerve was a little pinched and that was why he was in pain. He told me that he needed to be more active and that he had probably pushed himself a little harder than he should have. Zoran looked at me as if it was my fault. In fact, I did, I found out later. He told me in the car when we were returning. That he had been EXERCISING a little more because of me. The doctor also told him that he was waiting for another operation, but it wasn't necessary for now.

And that's why Zoran was a little upset. He thought that operation wouldn't be necessary, but it seemed like it had to be done. Going through the same pain again, oh my God. Zoran said that through a sob. I couldn't imagine ever seeing Zoran broken like he was at that moment. I managed to hold myself back and not cry too. I hugged him tightly and said. I'm here, I'm with you. He hugged me back and said something that I only understood later. You're better off without me. I thought about what he said for a long time and now, after so much time, I understand. He wanted to get out of my life forever. In his opinion, that was the best solution. He didn't think about my feelings for him. He thought, and I found out later, that I would be happier if I fell in love with Dragan and if I was with Dragan.
