It was a bust, the TV actor was so full of himself, he spent most of the 1.5 grooming himself in various ways, he even took her out to a spa date and spent an hour arguing with the masseuse over how he had strained his neck

They didn’t talk about each other, he didn’t seem curious at all

Though he was very eager to hook up “compatibility test” he said

Punky had booked an Airbnb she didn’t want any of her relatives to know

Suhasini was not very happy that she was missing Saturday coaching as the challenge test was approaching

She promised she would two evenings in a row the following week

She had to push out the other new kid she had taken on in an effort to clean up her life. She didn’t want to hate the Indy situation but continue to be in that house

The new kid, Vrushali was sweet, in 7th grade, she was the perfect student, not in academics but in obedience and discipline, they lived in a large joint family no single men any where in the vicinity

“Phew” Punky announced to herself

The TV guy bought her two fancy meals and insisted he didn’t care for me, he didn’t show any interest in her career or what she would do if they married

At the end of the jaunt she ended up asking him if he was even interested in marriage

He was evasive, she realized he was doing this to make his Mum happy and he was going to sow his oats for a while

She was disappointed and irritated that she had let her eagerness to get married get the better of her

She told herself she was never going to make the trip to Mumbai for any guy

She thought of everything she had said to Nakul M over the last two weeks and started investigating what had triggered her to make the trip

It was actually his acceptance of her siblings, she scrolled through her texts

She had told him “Hey I have a brother and a sister, and I will continue to care for them financially and emotionally and physically”

“Chalega na.. mere ko bhi family hai” he had said

She now realized he was basically agreeing to everything so she would visit Mumbai

But then he never flirted or touched her even

She looked out the window of the train and just sighed

She showed up Monday evening at Deshmukhs

Kunal was actually happy to see her

“I thought you quit”

“I told ur Aai I had to rush to Mumbai”

“You have a boy friend”

“Umm… lets start with page 114” she cut him off

This kid was crazy hormonal she laughed to herself

“My Kaka was out of town also

“Hmm”

“So I didn’t do his challenge class either” he giggled

“Nice”

“I will try to score full marks on yours” he said smiling

“You hate him that much huh?”

“I think he hates me” Kunal said sadly

“No he doesn’t”

“How do you know?” Kunal wasn’t happy

The door opened and it was indeed Indy

“She says you don’t hate me” he scowled at his Kaka

Where did Indy go Nisha?

Was he chasing her or just hooking up with someone else?

I think it’s after a long time a female is defending him at home.

This certainly should melt him.

How do you plan to let him know how her date with the actor went?

Can she let herself be little vulnerable in front of Indy?

She has always been guarded. Rightly so. But want to see this side.
The guy isn’t all that bad the way he is made out to be by his vahini.

I am not sure how Indy would react knowing he has to care for her family if they get together!!!!!! Care need not be supporting them in every sense but even agreeing to let Pankaja care like she does now is a big deal.

He doesn’t care for his, atleast her wants his family to perceive it that way.

If he was home, she was aware, if he was arguing he made her blood boil if he was mocking her she wanted to wring his neck

What was it about him

He smiled like a child

She wondered if he knew Mumbai trip was a waste

He didn’t? And yet he was being so playful?

I doubt he followed her. So what did give away for him to know things didn’t go well in mumbai ?
