Looks like she will have to go to Pia's party. Pia of course will be up to her mean streak.

He would have never found someone like her through Pia at least.

She asked such a wifey question. It matters when he will be back.

I guess something good will come out of this for the couple. Pradyut is not one of those who will shy away from standing up for the right person.

Nisha, do we get bonus evening update since it’s holiday in US???

“No sunning on the beach?” she sent a potato on a deck chair wearing sunglasses

“No ME!” she insisted

“I disagree” he said plainly

Her heart rate soared, he was flirting, and it made her soft and squishy on the inside……

She smiled all day that day and the following day whenever she thought about how he didn’t think she looked like a potato,

“If I am not a potato then am I hot?”

She made faces standing in front of the mirror

A tiny voice in her head shamed her for being attracted to him all the while trying to take him down at the same time.

“I haven’t found anything yet, so I am allowed to find him hot” she excused herself

“Will you stop finding him hot when you have some dirt on him?”

“I don’t know I am not in love with him or anything you see!! Don’t be silly, I am just using him just like he’s using me”

“I will just give you one piece of advice “U are falling headlong”

“No please don’t! YOU suggested I must ask Shiv chandel for money, I DID, he called me a beep”

She stared at the mirror fighting with her conscience

“I wanted you to reach out and ask for help”

“Well I did… and u know how that turned out” “I am glad”

She said I am glad out loud

A quick wave of shame slept through her

She had just admitted loudly that she was glad Shiv Chandel was over and she was glad she had met Pradyut Munjal

“I will OWN my heart break I will live through it I don’t need you to tell me I shouldn’t fall for him”

“So? You ARE in love with him”

“No I am not” she denied

Her heart pounded and her face turned red

Both tell tale signs

She quickly hit the light and went to bed

She lay there staring at the ceiling

Suddenly a thought occurred to her about going through the papers in his room and his office

She spent the next three hours carefully removing sifting through and restacking in the exact order the papers in his room

Exhausted, she crashed on his bed at 2 AM

The next morning when the warm and fuzzy feeling of being attracted to him had somewhat dissipated she thought about how long can she live in a limbo like this

Being held for ransom for the store

The prime location near neighborhoods, was perfect for selling school supplies

But the rare books can never be center stage, can never get its due

Plus her idea of making it a cozy come- on-in- and-read-however-long-you want book store!

Her phone was blowing up

Between friends and family and book dealers in old Delhi

Mostly everyone only wanted to buy it all from her at bulk rate and ship it out of the country for wealthy foreigners

A dealer in Khari Baoli wanted to take all off her hands for a flat rate of Rs.10 lakhs, she knew some individually were worth that much

She spent the day regretting not spending enough time with Papa observing his eyes for the passion they held for books

She couldn’t recall one look

“My selfishness was off the charts”

“I am just going to do the will for Papa’s house” Nidhi texted her in the evening

“We talked about it in the morning”

“Wel you are not receiving Gaurav weekly at your house”

“I can blast him for you. If you as much as have a property dealer look at it Ma I am never seeing your face again”

“Kaha se laaoongi main 1 crore phir Gaurav ke liye”

“Tell him Papa’s house is worth only 50 lakhs”

“He knows its over 2 crores”

“tell him I asked for a share”

“I told him already” Nidhi was proud of herself

What they both didn’t know was Gaurav had called Pradyut in Goa!!!!

“You have a s-it ton of money dude WHY do you want a share in my Papa’s house?”

“Excuse me?”

“Cmon dude don’t try to act innocent, you and your wife are scamming my mother”

“Umm.. will u elaborate?”

“You… (distracted) “You, tum log saale apna paisa aise banaate ho?” (growling)

“K, Gaurav I stepped out of a meeting to answer the phone I don’t have time…”

“Meri baat sun saale… tujhe Papa ki dukaan bhi dein hum oopar se GHAR BHI, tujhe to main”

Pradyut hung up

First time feeling bechara Pradyut.

He has to deal with not only his sister but also his wife’s brother 🙄.

Both are nutcase.

I do hope he knows that’s not what Taaruni wants.
