Raavi was going through a book and getting crazy.

Raavi:This is so tough.

Pooja sat near her.

Pooja:What happened Raavi?

Raavi:Actually i find this portion tough.

Pooja:If you don't mind,can I help you?

Raavi was surprised:Really?

Pooja:Yes.I have completed my post graduation.

Raavi:You were working?

Pooja:Ya..I was.I resigned my job and was looking for better opportunities.Then I came here.When I return to Mumbai,I will search for another job.

Raavi:So good that you can work.I don't think I will be able to work.Papa won't allow it.Dada and dadi think that women need not work.

Pooja:But what if your husband allows you to work?

Raavi:I don't think papa will find such a supportive husband for me as he himself is not supportive.

Pooja:Your fate can be different.So chill.Anyways..I will teach you.

Pooja started teaching her the difficult portion.Raavi became very happy.

All were sitting for dinner.Pooja came:Hi everyone.

Nobody responded.

She dragged the chair towards the table and sat.The noise caused due to that irritated Rohit,Naren,Veena and Rani.

Naren:Don't make noise.That's not allowed here.

Pooja:Sorry,but how to move the chair without making noise?Some kind of noise will be there.Right?

Rohit,Naren,Veena and Rani stared at Pooja.

Rani:Are you back answering or making fun of us?

Sonakshi and Raavi became dull.

Pooja:I did'nt make fun of anyone.I just asked a doubt.

Veena:You start eating Pooja.

Pooja:Yes aunty.

Everyone started eating.Pooja saw a dish in Raavi's plate.

Pooja:Wow,I love this.

Pooja took it from Raavi's plate and put it in her mouth.

Veena:What's this Pooja?Taking food from other's plate is a bad manner.

Pooja:Sorry aunty.I take food from my dad and mom's plates.

Rani:So your parents have not taught you manners?

Pooja got hurt.Sonakshi asked her to calm down through facial expression.

Pooja tried to change the topic by asking a question to everyone.

Pooja:Well..what food items are your favourite?

Nobody replied.

Pooja:Which movies have you seen recently?

Nobody replied.

Pooja:Raavi,shall we both go for a movie?

They gave a shocking expression.

Naren:Girls should not go to the theatre.It's not good.

Pooja:Why?Because there are boys?

Naren:Yes.Boys and girls should not mix up.

Pooja thought:Such narrow minded people!They think that boys are aliens and girls will get ruined if they watch movies in the theatre with stranger men.

Pooja:But we are not talking to the strangers in the theatres.We are just going to the theatre to watch movies.

Rohit:Pooja,while eating food nobody is allowed to talk.So you better eat your food silently.

Pooja nodded.

Pooja thought:Having food with these people is boring.

Before going to sleep Pooja told Sonakshi:I understood one thing.It's Naren uncle and Veena aunty who made Rohit Maasad like this.And that Rani aunty is damn irritating.I feel like kicking her out.If she leaves this house,half of the problems will be over.

Sona:Rani has fought with her husband and in laws.So she will be here itself as a head ache.

Pooja:Let's see.

While walking in the college corridor,Raavi's leg slipped and she fell down.She was finding it difficult to get up as her foot had sprained due to the fall.

Shiva who came there was shocked to see Raavi on the floor.

Shiva:Raavi,what happened?

Raavi was keeping silent.

Shiva:Atleast now you open your mouth and say something?

After a lot of hesitation,Raavi said:I fell down and my foot got strained.

Shiva:Show me your foot.

Raavi was stunned.

Raavi:What are you saying?How can I show my foot to you?

Shiva:Why not?

Raavi:You are a boy and I am a girl.

Shiva:Oh no!You think that I am that sort of a boy who takes advantage of girls?I don't believe this.

Raavi felt bad.

Raavi:No,I did'nt mean it.But I...

Shiva:Don't be scared Raavi.I will not touch with a bad intention.I promise.You can trust me.

Raavi thought:It's not because i don't trust you Shiva.It's because I am scared of my dad.

Shiva held her foot and twisted it.

Raavi moaned in pain:Ahhh...

Suddenly she realized that her sprain has disappeared.

Shiva massaged her foot.Unknowingly a smile appeared on Raavi's face.

Shiva:Are you feeling better now?

Raavi:Yes Shiva.Thank you.

Shiva:No mention.Because whether you consider me as your friend or not,I consider you as my friend.

Raavi smiled.They shared a sweet eye lock.

Suddenly Raavi realized what she was doing.Immediately she got up from the floor.

Raavi:We have to go to the classroom.The class will start now.

Shiva nodded.Raavi walked to her classroom and Shiva followed her.

Lakshmi was dancing and teaching dance to her students.

Arjun was lost in Lakshmi's beautiful classical dance.After the class got over,Arjun went near Lakshmi.

Arjun:Hello my beautiful teacher...your dance was very beautiful.

Lakshmi:Thank you my dear admirer.

Arjun:I am proud of my wife seeing the beautiful dance.

Lakshmi:Sonakshi used to dance very well.But her husband considers her dancing passion as a shame to the family.Not everyone gets a supportive husband like you.I wish Sonakshi could resume dancing and Rohit supports it.

Arjun caressed her and said:Everything will be alright Lakshmi.Our daughter Pooja is smart enough to do that.

Lakshmi smiled emotionally.

Aarav and Pooja were looking at the beautiful trees,plants and flowers there.

Pooja:Really this place is very beautiful.This beauty can't be found in a big city like Mumbai.

Aarav:Villages are very beautiful.That's why.

Pooja:Yes.But I wish the minds of these villagers also had become beautiful like this place.

Aarav:Most of them are narrow minded and against intercaste love marriages.But we can't change everyone's mindset.

Pooja:You are right.But I wish to change the mind set of Sonakshi maasi's family.

While walking Pooja said:I am strong.So I will change them.

Suddenly Pooja slipped and Aarav caught her by her waist suddenly.

Aarav:You said that you are strong.Then why did you fall?

Pooja smiled shyly.

Pooja:Maybe because I am a falling queen.But still I am a Queen.Right?

They both giggled.

Suddenly Pooja became unconsious.Aarav got scared and worried.

He cupped her face in his palm.

Aarav:Pooja...open your eyes.

Pooja opened her eyes and winked at him.

Pooja:I was just fooling you Aarav.Look at your eyes.How scared you were!

Aarav was embarrassed.

Aarav:You..!

They both laughed.

Rani:Rohit,did you see how Pooja dresses?She wears the type of dresses which do not match our culture.She wears very modern dresses.Why are you allowing it here?

Rohit:She is not our daughter.So why should we bother what type of dresses she wears?

Rani:But she stays in our house.

Rohit:Pooja is from Mumbai.In Mumbai wearing modern dresses is common.Pooja maybe having only modern dresses to wear.That may be the reason why she wears only modern dresses here also.We can't force her to spend extra money on traditional clothes just because she stays in our house.

Rani:But Rohit...

Rohit:Rani di...I have some work.Let me finish it.

Rani got irritated and walked out of the room.There she saw Pooja standing there and smirking.

Rani:So you heard our conversation.

Pooja smiled.

Rani:I said right.Your dressing does'nt suit any family girl.

Pooja:This is such a low thought that a girl's culture is defined by her dressing.Dressing does not have to do anything with the character.I will dress the way I like.

Rani frowned while Pooja walked away with a smile.

Shiva and Raavi were in the college library.

Raavi was searching for a book restlessly.Shiva noticed it.

Shiva:Raavi,you did'nt get the book you wanted?

Raavi nodded in 'no'.

Shiva:Which book do you want?

Raavi told him the book she wanted to do her assignment.

Shiva:I will also help you to search.

They both searched from both the corners and finally Shiva found the book.

Shiva:I got the book.

With excitement,Raavi ran towards him and extended her hand towards him.

Shiva:I will give the book if you become my friend.

Raavi became dull.

Raavi thought:Talking to you itself is a big deal.But you are asking something which I can never give.

Raavi turned back in disappointment.Shiva became sad.

He thought:Raavi is a hard ice piece which is very hard to melt.She is not showing any interest in becoming my friend.But why do I feel that she likes my presence?

Shiva:Take the book Raavi.

Raavi looked at him unbelievably.

Shiva:Yes..take it.Don't worry.I am not blackmailing you to accept my friendship to get this book from me.Because a real friend is someone who helps his friend without expecting anything in return.I don't expect anything in return.

Raavi looked at him emotionally and took the book from him.

Shiva said in his mind:I lied that I don't expect anything in return.I expect friendship from Raavi.

Raavi:Thank you Shiva.

Shiva just nodded silently.

Raavi tried to walk forward,Shiva too.They collided with each other.

Shiva's chain got attached to Raavi's kameez.

Raavi thought:Oh God!Why do I feel that even though I am trying to run away from Shiva,something is pulling me towards Shiva?

Raavi was shivering due to their close proximity.She moved her finger to remove the chain from her kameez.

Shiva realized her discomfort while pulling the chain.

Shiva:I will take it.

Raavi took her finger back.Shiva removed the chain from her kameez.Raavi felt a strange sensation in her body.

Raavi:Thank you Shiva.

She just walked away fast.Shiva kept looking at her.

Sonakshi went back to her past memories.

Sonakshi told Lakshmi:Didi,today is Diwali.I am dying to eat sweets.

Lakshmi:You are really craving to eat sweets?You sweet hungry girl!

Sonakshi pouted:Didi...

Lakshmi giggled.

To her surprise,Lakshmi brought a sweet box.

Lakshmi:Here are your favourite Diwali sweets.

Sonakshi was surprised.

Sona:Thank you didi.You are the best.

They both enjoyed eating sweets feeding each other.

Sonakshi:Those were such sweet memories that I could never forget.Diwali is going to come.I miss you didi.

The same time Lakshmi saw Diwali festival pictures on the tablet and closed it .Holding the tablet in her hand she was also thinking about the old Diwali she spent with Sonakshi.

Pooja and Aarav were walking around.They saw some people playing kabaddi.

Aarav:This is a common sport in this area.People enjoy it.

They:What are you both doing without playing?You guys are interrupting us.

They got embarrassed.

They:What sorry?Sorry cannot give us back our time.

Pooja:We apologized,still this kind of reaction from you all is horrible.

Aarav:You guys are over reacting.

They got angry.

They:We are over reacting?You both wasted our valuable time and blaming us?If you guys cannot play well why did you come here to play?Get lost.You both are out of the game.

Aarav-Pooja became dull.

Pooja:You all insulted us by saying that we can't play well.We will learn kabaddi properly and play like experts.

Aarav-Pooja pointed their fingers at them and said:It's our challenge.

Then they walked away from them.

Aarav:You told them that we will learn kabaddi and play like experts.Were you serious?

Pooja:No way.When they insulted us,just to not accept defeat in front of them I simply said so.

Aarav smiled:I also simply repeated your words by saying that it's our challenge.I also did'nt mean it.

They laughed.

Pooja sat near Raavi.

Pooja:Raavi,you are always wearing salwar kameez.Don't you feel uncomfortable to wear duppatta always?

Raavi:Dadi has told me to wear duppatta always.Here everyone wears duppatta.

Pooja:Don't you feel like wearing some other dresses also?

Raavi:To be frank seeing your dresses,I feel like wearing such dresses also.

Pooja:Really?Then you wear my dress.

Raavi:No no.If I wear it,I will be killed by others.

Pooja:Nothing like that.Don't suppress your wishes for others.

Raavi:But some wishes can't be fulfilled.

Pooja:Wearing a modern dress is not a big deal.It's only a small wish.So you can wear it.

Raavi:But clothes are very important here.

Pooja:Nobody will see it.You wear it in your room for sometime and live your dream.

Suddenly Veena and Rani entered the room.They were shocked to see Raavi in the modern dress.

Raavi and Pooja became nervous.

Raavi said in her mind:Oh no...I forgot to lock the bedroom door.

Veena:What kind of dress have you worn Raavi?Have you forgotten your culture?

Rani shouted:Papa..Rohit..Sonakshi...come here.

They all came there.

Rohit:What happened Rani?Why are you screaming?

Rani:Rohit...look at the dress your daughter is wearing?

They were shocked to see Raavi's dress.

Naren:What dress have you worn Raavi?

Rani:I told you that Pooja's dressing is bad.Now she is influencing Raavi in a bad way.

Pooja,Raavi and Sonakshi became upset.

Irritated Naren,Veena and Rani also walked away.

Sonakshi,Pooja and Raavi hugged each other happily.

Pooja:That Rani aunty is damn irritating.I feel like kicking her out.

Rohit continued doing his work.

Sona thought:Kadoos!He is so workaholic and rude that he does'nt have time to even look at me or talk politely.My fate to have a husband like him!But he is better than others in this family.Thanks to Pooja who helped Rohit to explore his good side.After Pooja came,Rohit has started showing slight changes.
