Chapter 6

Swayam wakes up with a pounding headache, he remembers his conversation with Taani last night and he feels like shit again. I can't lose her, I won't lose my baby sister. Determined to get his sister back, he goes and gets ready for college.

TaaRey

"Taani me niche hoon, tum ready ho?" Rey asks sitting in his car outside Taani's building, "Haan bas door lock karke aati hoo-" Taani's gag can be heard in the phone next. "Taani? Taani tum theek ho?" Rey gets worried and jumps out of his car goes and enters her flat, he sees the door open and hears flushing noise from the bathroom, he goes in and sees Taani on the bathroom floor, he kneels next to her, "Taani tum theek ho? Do you need to go to the dr? Kya puch rha hoon, we are going to the dr, come on" Rey says making Taani stand up, "Rey sans toh lo, and no I don't need to go to the dr rn, bas morning sickness he" saying this she goes towards the sink and washes her face and start brushing. "Oh, are you sure you are okay tho?" Rey asks still a tiny bit worried, Taani nods, smiling in the mirror at Rey's care.

They come out of the bathroom and Taani picks up her fallen bag, "Chale college?" She asks, "Arey ruko, you puked your breakfast out right? Thoda khalo pehle fir nikalte he" saying this Rey tugs at Taani's hand and makes her sit on the dining table. "Rey mera bilkul man nai he abhi kuch khane ka, me baad me kha lungi na" Taani tries to make him understand, "Taani you can't roam around on empty stomach, kuch khana nai he toh thoda juice pi lo" Rey says and goes towards her fridge and takes out orange juice and pours it into a glass and hands it to her. Seeing him so caring towards her makes Taani emotional, "kya hua?" Rey asks looking at her a bit confused, "kuch nai bas hormones are turning me into a cry baby" Taani replies. "Isme hormones ki kya galti he, tum toh pehle se hi crybaby ho" Rey says with a smirk teasing her.

"Me crybaby hoon huh?" Taani says making an angry face, "nataunki mat karo aur jaldi se yeh juice pi lo chalo" Rey says. After she finishes her juice they leave for college.

They enter the college hand in hand, they walk towards their class and the gang (except Swayam) is already present there. Seeing Taarey together confuses the gang, "inka toh breakup ho gaya tha na?" Vicky says, "Sathme dekhke lag toh nai rha" Nil says. "Rey idhar betho" Sharon says looking at Rey.

"Aap unke sath bethiye me yaha beth jati hoon" Taani says while gesturing towards his friends, "Me tumhare sath beth rha hoon" he says looking at her, "Sharon me yaha theek hoon" he says smiling towards Sharon and takes a sit next to Taani. Taani is surprised but doesn't show it, Swayam enters and seeing Taani he goes straight towards her, "Taani, tu theek he?" Swayam asks, "Muje kya hua he" Taani says feeling a bit alarmed thinking did he find out about her pregnancy, even Rey feels a bit alarmed. "Nahi mera matlab toh ese hi generally puch rha tha" Swayam says sheepishly. Taani feels irritated, "Muje aapse baat nai karni he, itna nai samaj aata aapko?" hearing her Swayam feels bad and he is about to say something but the professor enters so he goes and takes a sit next Sharon.

During the class Taani feels a bit guilty for talking to Swayam so rudely but thn remembers his behavior towards her which makes her angry again. Rey seeing Taani upset and not knowing what to do, grabs her hand and holds it under the table. The gang sees it, Sharon thinks yeh Rey kya kar rha he, parso toh itna terrified tha Taani aur uski pregnancy ko leke, shayad Taani baby abort karne ke liye maan gyi hogi.

Swayam who also sees Taarey holding hands feels a bit uncomfortable and looks away

As soon as the bell rings, Taani is the first one out of her sit and seeing this Swayam also follows her out with the rest behind him. "Taani bachcha baat toh sun meri" Swayam grabs her elbow making her stop, "Hath chhodiye mera" Taani says furiously.

Swayam doesn't let go tho, "nahi, tu mujse pehle baat kar, if you want to scream at toh scream at me, slap me if you so want to but please don't leave me like this Shona" hearing Swayam beg like this shocks everyone, "Kyun? Jab muje aapki zarurat thi tab aap the mere sath? Yeh na emotional drama mar karo and don't call me Shona" Taani says angrily. Sharon gets angry listening to Taani's words and seeing how they are hurting Swayam, "Taani yeh kya battameezi kar rhi ho tum Swayam ke sath" "Sharon" Rey and Swayam shout at the same time. Taani roughly tugs her hand away from Swayam's grip, "Toh ab aap muje sikhayengi ki muje apne bahi se kese baat karni he?" Taani says furiously, "Haan, can't you see how you are hurting him with your foolishness? Ek toh woh bina uski galti ke tumse itna mafi mang raha aur tum ek spoiled brat ki tarah behave kar rhi ho" Sharon retorts back. "Sharon bas, you don't have any right to talk to Taani like that, Taani uski baat mat sun, look at me, ghar chalna bachcha please" Swayam says looking at her, the gang and Sharon look at him shocked, he has never talked to Sharon so rudely before.

"Me kahi nai ja rhi aapke sath, aur woh mera ghar nai he" Taani is getting worked up and seeing this Rey takes Taani's hand, "Taani shant ho jao, tumhe stress lene se mana kiya he na?" Rey says trying to calm her down. "Muje class ke liye late ho rha he, I am going" Taani says to Rey and leaves. "Taani sun toh-" Swayam gets interrupted by Rey, "Swayam give her some time, woh maan jayegi but tu agar use force karega toh woh aur bhadak jayegi" Rey tries to make him understand. "Aur agar nai maani toh?" Swayam says with tears in his eyes, seeing his condition the gang gets angry at Taani for making their friend this upset.

"Yeh Taani ka kuch zyda nai ho rha? Uski wajah se Swayam even shouted at Sharon" Vicky says, "Haan nai toh kya, aur yeh Rey bhi uske piche piche bhag rha he subah se, Taani ne kuch toh kiya he warna woh toh usse breakup karna chahta tha" Simmi replies. "Sharon gusse m ghar chali gyi he aur Swayam bhi kitna udas lag rha he, yeh sab us sali ki wajah se ho rha he" Bharat says. "We have to do something about that girl, we aren't going to let her take away our friends" Vishakha says and the gang agrees with her.

Singhania House

"Toh bataiye Ranvijay, kya urgent baat kehni thi tumko?" Rishi asks, "Rishi muje tumse Taani aur Rey ke baarein me baat karni he" Ranvijay replies, "Taani aur Rey? Tum Taani ko kese jante ho?" Rishi asks surprised, "Woh Rey mera beta he and Taani aur woh ek dusre ko pasand karte he" Ranvijay says. "WHAT?" Rishi shocked. Ranvijay fills him up on everything.

"Rishi bhai muje pata he bachcho se bahot badi bhul ho gyi he, khas karke mere bete se per humme unhe abhi support karna chahiye, especially Taani ko, she has already gone thru so much aur uper se pregnancy complications" Rey's mom says, hearing the word pregnant and Taani together makes Rishi extremely uncomfortable but he even though he is angry at her he can't even imagine abandoning her and so agrees with Rey's mom. "Aap sahi keh rhi he Nainaji, but muje Taani ki bahot fikar ho rhi he", "Tu uski tension mat le, woh ab se humari bhi beti he aur hum use koi pareshani nai aane denge." Ranvijay says to Rishi, "Yaar mene kabhi nai socha tha ki college ke itne saalon baad hum ese milenge, hum ab samdhi banne wale he" Rishi and Ranvijay hug. Naina smiles looking at them. "Bachcho ko bula le?" she asks and they nod.

College 4PM

"Rey woh me aapse kehna bhul gyi thi, meri aaj 5 baje dr se appointment he for a regular checkup" Taani says to Rey, they are in the FE. "Arey koi baat nai, classes wese bhi khatam ho gyi he, chalo hum clinic hi chalte he aur fir waha se dinner karne" Rey gets a call from his mom asking him to come home with Taani, "Mom woh actually Taani ki dr appointment he 5 baje, hum waha se directly hi ghar aajayenge" and they end the call. "Chalein?" Rey stands and holds his hand for Taani to hold on to and they leave hand in hand.

Clinic

"Taani mene pehle bhi tumse kaha tha that your stress level is too high, you need to stop being so stressed or it won't be good for the baby" her dr says hearing this Rey and Taani both get tensed, "Is it really serious dr? What would you recommend? Also she can barely keep her food down, can't you give her some medicine for that?" Dr smiles hearing concern in Rey's voice. "I will recommend to do some meditation exercises and to try not to be in stressful situations. You have to take extra care of your wife Mr Singhania and yes I will prescribed you some med for the puking" Dr says, hearing the wife word makes Taani blush and Rey smiles like an idiot. "Don't worry dr, I will take care of her." "Dekhiye me aapko darana nahi chahti but too much stress can result in a miscarriage" hearing this both get shocked. They leave the clinic, "Taani tum please kisi cheez ka stress mat lo, mene kaha he na me sab sambhal lunga" Rey says worriedly "I will try not to Rey, I don't want to lose our baby" Taani says with tears in her eyes, "We aren't going to lose our baby okay, esi baatein 2socho bhi mat, we are going to have the most perfect daughter, just like you" Rey says as they sit in his car, "Beti kyun? Beta kyun nai?" Taani asks, "Kyunki ladke bahot shararti hote he and wese bhi muje tumhari jesi beti chahiye, tumhe beta chahiye?" Rey asks, hearing Rey talk so affectionately makes Taani happy beyond her imagination. "Muje bas ek healthy baby chahiye" they smile looking at eachother.

'ringring' "Mom ka call hoga, zara utha lo" Rey says while focusing on the road, "Sharon ka he" Taani says in a small voice. "Lao, doh muje" he parks the car on the side and picks up the call "Haan sharon, kuch kaam tha?" Rey says a bit dryly as he is still upset with Sharon's behavior towards Taani in morning. "Kuch kaam ho toh hi call karsakti hoon me tumhe?" Sharon says irritated, "Sharon me aur Taani abhi clinic se aaye he, we are both tired, me tumse kal baat karta hoon" and Rey hangs up the call, he starts the car and they go to his house.

Sharon pov, I think Taani got the abortion, well atleast Rey toh happy hoga but poor Taani having to have gone through this. I will call Rey later ask how she is. Wese bhi pata nai usse mujse kya problem he, she talks so rudely to me.

Singhania house

"Yeh toh Tauji ki car he" Taani says scared, "Taani what did we just talk about you stressing? Mene kaha he na ki me sab sambhal lunga, tum tension mat karo" saying this he takes her hand and goes into his house. "Taani" Rishi says and hearing his voice Taani tries to hide behind Rey.

Chapter 7

"Taaani ab tu itni badi ho gyi he ki apne Tauji ke bulane pe aayegi nahi?" Rishi asks, hearing this Taani starts crying and goes towards him, "I am sorry Tauji aapko itna disappoint karne ke liye, I am very sorry, please muje maaf kar dijiye." Taani is crying badly now and Rey looks on worriedly wanting to intervene but knowing that Taani and her Tauji need to have this talk, "Bas kar, ese rote he kya?" Rishi gently takes Taani's face in his hands and wipes her tears, hearing him talk so softly surprises Taani. "Tauji aap mujse gussa nai ho?" she asks, "Haan gussa toh hoon, kya itna hi janti he tu apne Tauji ko ki tune ese bina bataye ghar chhor diya? Me gussa hoon tujse ki tune ek baar bhi apni problems share nai mujse? Kya mere pyaar me kuch kami reh gyi thi?" Rishi asks feeling a bit emotional. Listening to him Taani can't control herself and hugs him, "Nahi Tauji esa nai he, muje kuch samaj nai aa rha tha isiliye, please muje maaf kardo" Taani says clinging to him. "Ek shart pe" he says, "tu promise kar ki tu aajse mujse kuch nai chchupayegi", "I promise Tauji"

"Ab bas bahot senti baatein ho gyi" Naina says smiling, Rey smiles as well seeing Tauji accept Taani but thn Tauji looks at him, more like glares at him, "Reyansh is baar meri beti ki wajah se maaf kar rha hoon per agar aainda tumhari wajah se use koi bhi takleef hui toh mujse bura koi nai hoga" Rishi says sternly, "HUMSE bura koi nai hoga" Ranvijay adds. Seeing them care so much about Taani makes Rey happy, "I promise aage use kabhi hurt nai karunga, uncle, dad."

"Chalo sab betho me kaka ko kehke chai banwati hoon sabke liye" Naina says and they all sit while goes to the wawshroom. "Rey dr ne kya kaha?" Naina asks her son and everyone looks at him, "Mom woh keh rhe the that Taani's stress level are very high and that ese hi chalta rha toh..." he couldn't even finish the sentence. Hearing this they all get shocked, "We need to take care of her" Ranvijay says. "Haan, me soch rhi thi ki abhi inki court marriage kara de? Dhum dham se baad me kara lenge after the baby is born" Naina suggests, "Haan wese bhi inke exams bhi aane wale he, kya kehte ho tum Rishi?" Ranvijay asks him, Taani comes in at the exact same time, here Rey is also feeling nervous waiting for Rishi's answer, "Taani beta tum batao, kya tumhe court marriage karne me koi aitraaz he?" Rishi asks, feeling everyone's eyes on her she starts blushing with wide eyes, "Arey ese ghoor kyun rhi ho, bolo na" Rey says amusing everyone, realizing what he said he tries to say something to save himself from the embarrassment, "I mean, me toh bas..." but he doesn't know what to say so just looks down.

The elders smile looking at him, "woh tauji aapko jesa theek lage, muje koi aitraaz nai he" Taani says feeling extremely shy. Hearing her Rey looks at her with a love sick smile, "Me sabke liye kuch meetha lati hoon!" saying this Naina goes into the kitchen. "Beta idhar aao, betho" Ranvijay says and Taani goes and sits next to him, "Jeeti rho, sada khush rho" he blesses her and places a hand on her head lovingly. Rey and Rishi look at them with a smile, they all eat the sweet. "Ranvijay tumhari court me pehchan he koi?" Rishi asks, "Haan he toh, me isi parso tak ki appointment lene ki try karta hoon, warna fir weekend aajayega" Ranvijay replies. "Tauji, Taiji nai aayi aapke sath?" Taani asks, "Nahi beta but mene use bata diya he aur woh kal subah tak aa jayegi, tu tension mat kar" Rishi replies.

Taani sees the elders busy in their talks, texts Rey, 'Rey aapko koi problem nai he na yeh sab itni jaldi ho rha he toh?', Rey hears a ping and looks at his phone to see Taani's msg, after reading it he looks up at her and thn types, 'Nahi, thoda sa overwhelmed lag rha he but achcha wala overwhelmed, are you okay with a court marriage? I know you wanted a big wedding' Taani reads his msg and can't help but smile. 'I don't really care about a big wedding anymore as long as I am marrying you' she replies feeling a bit cheesy. Seeing her reply he can't stop smiling like an idiot, and types, 'How cheesy, I love it, I love YOU, thank you for coming in my life Taani. I am sorry I haven't been able to propose to you yet but...-' he sends this with a guilty face.

'Rey me tab bas mazak kar rhi thi, marrying me is a proposal enough of your love for me' seeing Taani's reply he feels a little less guilty. He looks at her and gets lost in her beauty....

"Rey? REY?" "chilla kyun rhe ho mom?" Rey whines, "Kabse tuje awaz de rhi thi, kaha kho gaya tha?" She asks knowingly, "mom kahi nai me toh bas ese hi" he replies feeling a bit shy with how everyone caught him looking at Taani like a creep.

"Taani beta ghar chalein?" Tauji asks, "Per Tauji...", "Dekh ab teri shadi hone wali he, me apni bachchi ke sath kuch din achche se rehna chahta hoon fir toh tu apne ghar hi jayegi na?" Hearing Tauji Taani feels compelled to agree, "Woh muje kapde lene jana hoga" she says, "Tum uski fikar mat karo, tum uncle ke sath ghar jao me tumhari sari packing karke le aaunga" Rey says and everyone agrees so Taani Tauji take their leave and Rey also goes to Taani's parents flat to collect her things.

Swayam hears a doorbell goes to open the door to find his father and Taani at the door, "Dad aap kab aaye?" He asks, "Aaj hi aaya hoon, Taani beta tum apne kamre me jake freshen up ho jao" and Taani goes to her room as she doesn't want to talk to Swayam.

Seeing her not even looking at him hurts Swayam, "Dad mujse bahot badi galti ho gyi he" he tells his father, "ab galti hui he toh use sudharana bhi padega na?", "per kese papa, woh meri taraf dekhti bhi nai he" Swayam feels helpless.

Rishi takes him in Swayam's room and tells him about Taani's pregnancy, the complications in the pregnancy and her upcoming wedding with Rey, "Taani pregnant he??!!!! Me Rey ko nai chhodunga, woh meri behen ke sath esa kese kar sakta he?" Swayam stands up in anger, "Swayam abhi time gussa hone ka nai he, we need to be there for Taani rn, she needs our support the most right now."

"Dad I have behaved so badly with her in the past that no apology is going to make her forgive me, mene use yaha aake bahot neglect kiya he, bahot kuch sunaya bhi he, muje yeh tak nai yaad ki mene usse dhang se last baat kab ki thi" Swayam confesses with teary eyes, "I am very disappointed in you Swayam but galti insan se hi hoti he, you realizing your mistakes and unko sudharne koshish kar rhe ho is a good start" his father says.

They hear a bell and Swayam goes to see who it is, opening the door and seeing Rey is enough to make him angry and punch him. "Ouch, pagal ho gaya he kya? Itni zor se kyun mara sale!" Rey shouts, hearing his scream Tauji and Taani also rush out, "Kamine, to Taani ke sath esa kese kar sakta he huh?" Swayam retorts back angrily, "Ab kya kiya mene" says Rey but thn realizes ki maybe Swayam found out about Taani's pregnancy and feels scared of Swayam's wrath. "Dekh shant ho ja, ab me tera jija banne wala hoon, tu kya apni hi behen ke suhag ko ujadega?" Rey tries to joke but it comes out poorly making Taani and Tauji hold back their laughter, Swayam seeths, "teri toh" he lifts his hand to hit again but at the lost moment hugs him, "uska khayal rakhna, bahot pyaar se bada kiya he use" hearing Swayam so vulnerable Taani feels emotional, "mere pas koi aur option he? Agar use thoda sa bhi pain hua toh tu muje mar dalega, pata he muje, I promise I won't hurt her ever again" saying this Rey also hugs Swayam tightly.

Breaking the hug, Swayam goes towards Taani, "I know tu gussa he, aur tuje pura haq he gussa hone ka, me pakka tu bolegi woh karunga bas ek mauka dede apne bhai ko?" Swayam begs, "Kyun doon? Taki aap muje wapas ese hurt kare?" Taani asks with tears in her eyes, "I swear on my life ab kabhi esa nai hoga Shona, you will always come before anyone else in my life, kuch time ke liye bhul gaya tha apni priorities per ab esa nai hoga kabhi, please ek mauka dede?" Hearing Swayam beg again, Taani can't take it and she hugs her brother, "hug kar rhi hoon iska matlab yeh nai ki maaf kardiya" she cutely says and thn wipes her nose on Swayam's tee like she used to do when she was a kid, Swayam hugs her back tightly not believing it. They break the hug and Swayam wipes Taani's tears, "Ab bas, bilkul bhi rona nai he ab samji tu? Bahot roh liya tune.", "ek toh khud rulate ho fir khud hi gyan dete ho"

Rey:- yaar yeh itni cute kyun he, uff.

"Kuch kaha kya tumne Rey?" Tauji asks, "nahi uncle, me bas yeh keh rha tha ki me chalta hoon, kal college bhi he toh" he leaves after saying bye to everyone.

Taani and Swayam spend their night talking and remembering their childhood, they both fall asleep while talking in Taani's room.

Do these people have any eyes or ears? Do they ever see or hear the reality?

Now Sharon is happy thinking Taani got an abortion?

Swayam finally got to clear things up with Taani.

The parents are on board and the wedding will happen.

Chapter 8

Taani wakes up with a smile on her face thinking about how everything is turning out fine, Rey's acceptance for their baby, our family's support, us getting married and bhai coming around, Krishnaji please sab ese hi chalte rehne dijiyega. She checks her phone to see if there are any msgs from Rey and there are.

Msg 1 'Dad ne apne judge friend se baat ki he, we are getting MARRIED TOMORROW!!!! I know I was scared shit less at the prospect of getting married so soon, I kind of still am but I am thrilled at the idea of starting a family with you.'

Msg 2 'Me tumhe aur Swayam ko pick karne aaunga for college, ready rehna, I really want to tell my friends about our marriage!!'

Taani sends him a msg saying 'Kal shadi? I don't even have anything to wear aur aap kya pehenoge?!'

'Taani, I will marry you in your nightdress if I have to'

She goes to washroom to freshen up, thinking that Rey has lost his mind, when she comes out of her room she sees Swayam in the kitchen and Taiji sitting on the sofa in the living room, " Taiji!" Taani runs and hugs her, "dur hatt mujse tu" hearing Taiji say this hurts Taani, she breaks the hug and looks down, "niche kya dekh rhi he? Meri taraf dekh" Taani looks up after hearing Taiji's stern voice.

"Ek baar bhi muje call karne ka khyal nai aaya tuje? Itna kuch ho rha he teri life me and tune ek baar bhi mujse share karne ka nai socha? Shayad meri hi parwarish me kuch kami reh gyi hogi, mene toh tuje apni beti maana tha per shayad tu hi muje apni Maa nai maan payi" Taiji says wiping her tears, "Nai taiji esa nai tha, muje bas dar lag gaya tha, I didn't want to disappoint you and Tauji. I am sorry for hurting you, please is baar maaf kar dijiye, aainda kabhi aapse kuch nai chhupaungi" Taani says holding her ears.

"Is baar maaf kar rhi hoon, agli baar nai karungi, samji?" Taani nods and they share a proper hug, "Aap logo ka milap ho gaya ho toh Taani breakfast karle? Rey ka msg tha woh aata hi hoga" Swayam calls Taani, "Bhai aloo ke parathe? Wow aur muje laga tha aap Mumbai aake cooking hi bhool gye the" Taani says taking a seat, "Mumbai aake bahot kuch bhool gaya tha" Swayam says a bit sadly.

"Oi, mene kal raatko hi keh diya tha na ki muje ab past ke bare me kuch baat nai karni?" Taani says making a stern face, "Sorry Shona, ab tu jaldi se khale chal, aur fruits aur juice bhi pina he" Swayam says serving her.

"Bhai bas karo, itna sara ek sath thodi kha sakti hoon me aur me le lungi na, aap beth jao", "Taani you need to eat more now and healthy bhi khana he, chup chap khatam karo joh plate me he" Taiji orders.

They finish their breakfast, Rey comes in and meets Taiji, after a warning about not hurting Taani or I won't be good for him, he gets a blessing, they leave the house. "Taani tu back seat me beth" Swayam says, "Kyun?" Rey says wanting Taani to sit with him in the front, "kyunki me keh raha hoon" Swayam says looking at Rey with distrust, hearing her Taani smiles and takes the back seat, here Rey makes a face but doesn't say anything else.

"Shadi ke baad woh mere sath hi rahegi aur humesha front seat me hi bethegi" Rey says sulkingly while driving, "Tu na zyada bakwas mat kar samja, aur rhi baat shadi ke baad ki toh Taani mere sath hi rehne wali he" hearing Swayam, Taani and Rey are shocked. "Pagal ho gaya he kya?" Rey asks, Swayam smiles and says "Woh kya he na, tere parents pura business chhorke yaha toh reh nai sakte and mere parents ko bhi wapas jana padega jald hi because dadi ki tabiyat kharab rehti he, toh mene dad se baat ki and kaha he ki jab tak baby nai aajata tab tak Taani aur tu humare ghar pe rahoge." Swayam still feels awkward thinking about his baby sister and her having a baby.

"Tu sach me pagal ho gaya he sale, Taani kuch samjao ise warna me na-",

"Warna aap kya huh? Kya karoge aap?" Hearing Taani scold he says "warna kya, ghar jamai banne ke din aajayenge" Rey says sadly. "Muje koi shauk nai tuje apne ghar me rakhne ka but we should think about Taani and the baby here, hum me se koi na koi toh sath hoga hi na uske sath if we stay together?" Swayam reasons, Rey agrees with him. Seeing them care for her makes Taani feel like the luckiest girl out there.

They reach college, "sab rehearsal hall me honge na?
