”But what matters most is how one EVOLVES after taking a hit to one's pride and growth. "

Could not have described better ..plus the above ❤️

For veev, the most I want is for the girl to get accepted to her prgm! That'll clear up her mind! She"ll love ... enjoy being busy that way more! She'll pick less on Raanav since she won't hv the time to shoot him down!! 😆

Nisha, I loved loved loved the perspective you brought on the hiring help situation. The girls have gotten busy as is to be expected as they seek new avenues, hired help undependable, not helped by the demand of the consistent regularity of floating population home ... I guess it's pretty much an oxymoron to use consistent and floating in the same sentence but it isn't hard to understand why the hired help would be overwhelmed under the circumstances. All said and done, the responsibility , finally rests witn Anu. I also have a troubled sense that Anu's tests are going to throw some surprises!!

Very interesting chapter Nisha.

Bigger families come with their own benefits and issues.

Anu and Akash have four kids. It is natural that there is a competition among the kids for parent's attention, and not to forget parents have good careers and are busy. So the little time remaining, each child wants the maximum attention from them. I am sure as parents, it must be equally challenging for the parents to give each child equal attention and affection.

Also it is natural that maybe sometimes one child has gotten more importance and attention than the other. I guess here Viveka, being the elder one (and more responsible or grounded than Naina?) was given more responsibilities and she was the go-to person for both her parents and sisters.

Now I also get why Naina always felt that she was ignored while her sister was given more prominence.

As @Errrantnomad said, I like this Naina 2.0

She has not only taken up the reigns of her life in her own hands now but also taken up the reigns of the house.

She is really proving to be a very capable person. Viveka has managed the home many times earlier, but the way Naina is putting her likes, tastes, views into managing the house (and not ignoring her ownself) and most importantly she is not just slogging, she is making their lives better, it is just awesome.

Though Viveka is feeling left out and jealous, I hope she accepts gradually that it is indeed time to share the responsibilities of the family. And also maybe she understands that it is time for her to focus on her life more now, including her career and her marriage.

Everyone wants to be a hero in life, I guess Viv should pic her own life to be the movie where she wants to be the protagonist in and not her parents', sisters' and her family's life.

Congratulations for the new thread Nisha.

Liked this chapter. We got to see different shades of Naina, Viveka. Everyone behaves according to the circumstances.

Viveka has always burdened with responsibility of the house, as she was the eldest. Now to see that Naina has taken this responsibility now, makes her jealous. And which is very human and natural for one to feel so. I guess its better for Naina too. It will be a good learning experience for her too. She will feel more mature and responsible.

Vi should now think more seriously about her life, marriage and Raanav.

Its heartwhelming to read akash and anu are not being troubled by naina issues and rather she is supporting her parents. And i am superhappy that viveka felt left out of all these🤭🤭🤭🤭

She was trying to be the best daughter but she was ignoring other peoples in her life.... Forgetting to talk with her husband, making easy remarks about her married life, being judgemental about raanav all the time.....a little emotional dependence is needed for e in every relationship to make it alive.... Too much will be suffocating, but she need to work on her marriage as well. Got married in a hurry bcoz of her FILs health condition, but it is not like they r going to say its done the moment satyen is back to his self. And she is not blind, she can sense raanavs investment in their relationship. Hope she gets enrolled somewhere for a regular job.... May be after that, she will stop seeking validation for her marriage from everyone around her....

Naina has redeemed herself. Taking on the responsibility when her family needed it.

No one noticed Veev"s new hair style? Not even Naina?

Veev is feeling a little lost with the new dynamics. She felt needed before and now Naina has taken over.

Naina stepping up to her parents' aid is lovely! ♥️

The recent crisis with both Inder and Anu can probably help Naina in more ways than one..

It often happens that way.. in a crisis, the most unlikely of people seem to bloom. And when help comes from unlikely quarters, it's all that more gratifying. 😊

Anu and Aakash may not have been as appreciative of Viveka since that is what they have come to expect from her.. But Naina's new normal is exponentially more rewarding for them!

Viveka's irritation and jealousy 🤣

It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to have Viveka complaining about Naina to Raanav. I'd say he should enjoy it while it lasts! 😆

But it's also sad to see her feeling displaced and unwanted. Kam se kam new hairstyle toh notice karna banta tha..

Let's see if Raanav can help her with the rehabilitation!

Btw, I find Viveka's concern for Inder excessive! Not just now, but when they were in London as well..

Never mind Naina's actions, I think the Mathurs were too kind to Inder. For how he treated her, he deserved way worse.

As Naina's parent or sister, I think I'd have preferred for them to ask him to wait by the roadside and run up to Naina's car when he sees her.. forget the living room, he isn't fit to wait in the foyer or porch even!

I don't even find that rude or cruel considering how he and his family treated her!

Like Naina is, strangely, very concerned of Abhishek's feelings, Viveka seems to be for Inder. No matter how they treated the woman in question.. I guess, Viveka's only saving grace is that she isn't out to shame and accuse Naina over it.

Atleast, not yet!
