Wee hour woes

Naina appeared an houror so later around 3:45 AM, the girls had fallen asleep on the couch not even1/5th of the way in to the gory murder scene compilation of RaanavParashar

He helped move daybedsaround so there would be enough room around for them to move around

He picked her upafterwards and took her to bed

When she was curling upon her side, as he was plugging his phone in by her to get in bed (fullyclothed of course, with the girls sleeping in the living room of the suite)

Naina came in and peeredat Viveka who was snoozing by now

“Asleep?”

“Hi! Naina”

“Hi!” she was shocked tosee him come out of the bathroom

He just lingered by thebathroom door

She stared at his facein the bedside lamp glow

“Viveka had done goodfor herself”

“Oh God! She had done sogood”

She thought trying notto curse

He was dressed in hissomewhat formal clothes, a bright check cotton shirt and jeans

The shirt was out inplaces when Viveka had pulled it out trying to dodge his kiss 10 minutes ago

“I thought she wasgoingt o stay up all night”

“IKR” he laughed softly

Naina watched theperfect teeth sparkle

“The bed is yours if uwant it, I am heading out?”

“Kaha ja rahe ho?” sheasked proprietorially

“I am told dog housebecause I showed the twins murder scene compilations” he laughed again

Naina sighed softly

She wanted to be angry,she wanted what Veev had now

A gorgeous man, who notonly argued on topic, and was well read but also someone who didn’t listen toher and did his own thing to pamper her sisters

Sigh!!

“Who won?”

“Who do u think?” Raanavleaned on the bathroom doorjamb arms folded across his chest

“My sister lost?”

“What? U don’t believeme?”

“nahi ghar pe hameshajeet ti hai she can recall things the girls promised to do from when they were8 or 10 she would take that away if they didn’t listen

“I married a tyrant?” hewas amused

Naina nodded

“You have to tell meeverything about her?”

“Kyon?” Naina stared ata sleeping Viveka

“A lawyer never revealshis reasons”

Their eyes met acrossthe room

“You did not like medating Inder did you?”

He sighed and did notanswer

“We shouldn’t be talkingover her head” “Lets grab a cup of hot chocolate or something we can chat inthe atrium” he said slowly

“Are you afraid she willwake up and find us discussing this?”Naina asked pensively

“She is really tired Idrather not destroy her sleep”

“TUMHE neend nahi aarahi?”

“I am good” he shrugged

“You don’t have to ifyou think it might…”

“Lets talk” he stood 10feet from her and asked her to lead the way

“Promise you will nottell my parents or Inder”

“You left out Vi”

“I cannot ask you tokeep a secret from her can I?” she sighed

“Nope”

That’s nice.

I hope Naina doesn’t break Viveka confidence in hear.
I like that Ranaav wants to sort things out. At least it appears so. He and Viveka both will be at ease if Naina’s name surfaces henceforth if all goes well I’m this conversation.

With every passing update Ranaav is becoming more likeable.
One needs to really love his spouse to be willing to accommodate her family and adjust himself as well.

Naina asked Raanav if he does not like her dating Inder? Raanav suggested they talk while having a hot drink. What will Raanav say? And will Naina's resentment at his and Viveka's marriage will boil over. She sees that Raanav is caring for his wife and perhaps is not happy. Sorry Nisha, I am not sure what I am saying.

Loved the update.

Finally an adult interaction. 💕 Ra responses to Naina was easy,casual, light hearted till she decided to directly address his "displeasure" in her dating Inder. So he offers an olive branch to talk privately about it 🤗

Ra knows that his relation with Vi will survive/thrive, if and only if, he has a conversation with her sister Naina. Explain maybe why he said what he said about Naina. Look forward to this.

Anyway his matured responses have made Naina behave her age too..from

"Promise you will nottell my parents or Inder”

about their talk to not expect Ra from hiding their talk from Vi his "wife" 💕

The girl's parents are so restricted by society to stay quiet and put up with anything the guys family doles out. Its time that changed.

Its so nice to see Raanav being all lighthearted and fun with the siblings.

It's just unfortunate that Naina is still thinking only about herself all the time.

I agree that feeling a bit of envy is natural for all, but can't she feel happy for her sister(who always has her back) for finding a good man who sincerely is trying to keep her happy.

And where was she all this time? With Inder?

If she was with Inder, imagine if someone saw her coming out of his room at this time. Didn't she cry few days ago that Viv did not speak to her during her wedding at the parashar house and that she deserves respect there. Then when Viveka is sincerely trying to do that, madam again only has her selfish agenda in mind.

I am looking forward to her talk with Raanav. Hope out of jealousy, she does not spill what Viv shared with her about her reasons to get married.

I really hope Divya and Karuna turn out to be better sisters to each other than Naina is to Viveka

What a surprise!!😲

I'm so shocked! I never expected Raanav trying to have a friendly banter with Naina!!

Umm.. Naina, atleast, is still somewhat true to her usual self. Though it doesn't look like it, I'm still spooked about her causing trouble between the couple!

But this part made me think in weirdly unrelated directions..

Inder and Raanav were best friends of sorts.. Raanav had LOUD, VICIOUS opinions on Naina. Doesn't Inder have a thing or two to ask him, now that he has married NAINA's sister?

Also, I suddenly don't see much difference between Naina and Smrita. Both come from a middle class background, chased after the man they liked, wanted a wealthy lifestyle... apart from being self-obsessed drama queens, ofcourse! Yeah, Smrita really loves Satyen and I guess so does Naina.. umm, looking at her grief and outrage.

So yeah, the only difference b/w them that I see is that Satyen married Smrita whereas Inder can't make a decision for himself!!

Though i only have a little sympathy to spare for Naina, it sure makes me wonder about double standards, hypocrisy, and all that jazz! 🤔

Sorry, I'm in a weird headspace, I think.. anyway, a very interesting twist there! 👏 Excited to read some more
