Building a marriage is most definitely understanding and growing through all the differences . The marital climate throws up a storm now and then . The foundation the partners lay helps in navigating the rough weather . Raanav is surely playing his part in laying a very strong foundation and what Naina is getting here in convo with Raanav is a glimpse of his now mature love.

Absolutely turning point - naina recognizing that her sister is in a good place and wants to be in similar place. Recognizing Ranaav is a good match - intellectually and look wise, the one who can fight with her brilliant sister and win, one who can win his younger sisters’ hearts in his own way. More than that she believes in Ranaav and Veev’s relationship and didn’t expect him to hide their conversation.

Starting an open convo is a very very good start from Naina and from Ranaav’s point of view - he is making a giant step to sit down with Naina Andy having an open dialogue (all without disturbing his Vi) and am positive he is only making the effort and building the path to peE

Unexpected..

She watched him makecoffee in the kitchen the size of her parents Rohini apartment

He knew what he wasdoing when he measured coffee and shoved it in the espresso machine

The fancy machine lookedlike a large gleaming contraption

“Were you a barista?”

“No I was not” he smiledendearingly

“Veev loves her chai,tum chai bana lete ho?”

“I do actually, but nothow she likes it” he winked

He is alright shethought, letting her shoulders relax

“You didn’t like me verymuch in Jaipur did you?” she asked without a smile

“No I did not” he saidhumbly

“You were arguing withVeev too”

“Actually that shouldnot be a yardstick, we argue at least once a day”

“About WHAT?” she wasshocked

“Umm… we don’t see eyeto eye on most things” he smiled mischievously

“Then how are you evenmarried

“Oh? The rewardsoutweigh the incompatibility” he laughed

“You two are similar”she said quietly starting at a spot beyond his head

“I tell her that too”

“Thanks for beingwelcoming Raanav”

“Sure” he raised his mugand sipped the frothy amazing coffee

“If you don’t sleep howwill you go to work tomorrow”

“You sound like your sister”

“Tumhe har baat par Veevyaad aati hai?”

“Its funny right?” hesmiled

“Inder and I liked eachother, we were totally into each other”

“Were?”

She didn’t respond

“You think I caused himto break up with you”

“I want to assure you Idid not”

“Your mother hates myguts”

“If its any consolationshe hates Viveka’s as well”

“At close quarters you don’tseem like a guy that’s hung up on status”

“I know I might bebasing my opinion on one night’s experience” she sighed “I was pleasantlysurprised, I did not expect it”

He didn’t know if he wastrying o change or had completely changed

He knew about Viveka

The rest he was not sure

“I know about Veev… therest I am not sure” Naina said quietly

“She could not marry aman who was arrogant”

Smrita was approachingthe large kitchen

She saw Naina and Raanavin the kitchen and she turned away, she didn’t expect to see the two…

Naina and Raanav are talking while having coffee in the kitchen. It seems Naina and Inder are not together. Naina also seems to approve of Raanav for her sister Viv. Smrita saw them in the kitchen and went away without talking to them. Will she accuse Naina of making a play for her own sister's husband?

Wow! This was really unexpected!! I had no idea that both Raanav and Naina were going to be so mature..

Raanav has been a darling recently.. caring for his wife after the car wreck, defending her, not reacting to his mom's texts in front of his in-laws, and now trying to be objective about Naina!! 👏He's getting so good at this being a husband business for Vi 😆❤️

Naina's looking to actually talk things maturely was much-awaited.. I really hope this bout of sensibility stays on for longer and is extended to her own family as well!!

Just this line alone made my heart go out to Naina.. imagine spending a day with a family that thinks the worst of you, where even your own family's judging your every move!! Notwithstanding her own stupidities in coming to this situation, it must've been a difficult day for her 😭

I guess she doesn't really see it, but Naina ko bhi har baat par Veev yaad aati hai.. Veev loves her chai, Veev always wins, Veev might not like it or you were arguing with Veev! Viveka has not stopped worrying for her sister one moment, no matter what!! It's good to see this side of her ❤️

No really, think of it.. Inder ain't any Raanav while Viren is no Satyen! Naina feels things to the extreme and doesn't really have Viveka's maturity.. With Inder, she'd be signing up for a lifetime of battling her in-laws or wondering just when her husband would defect over to the dark side!!

Wee hour woes

Naina has the twinge of envy. Guess she thought she would be the one in this position, not her sister. Her sister was supposed to marry a nerdy guy.

Raanav is willing to talk to Naina about Inder. Thats a good thing.
