Also P, Smrita did not come loaded with wealth when she married Satyen. She knows if she is on a pedestal in the society, it is because of her husband's wealth.

But Lekha is very rich herself. In a sense, Rakshit and Lekha are equals in most matters. But Lekha is the dominating one and Rakshit is just nodding along as he loves her and does not want to rock the boat. But there will be situations where he will not agree with her. Then what will happen?

"I Love you Shoona" is all nice when she is given everything she wants and wishes. Real test will be when she does not get what she wants.

Viveka knows he is checking on her to make sure she is comfortable. He ensures her safety. The man had proposed and declared his love. She is the one who never said it. And still she thinks she doesn't have love. What will bring this home to her at this point?

You're right, Lekha also comes from an affluent background, a major reason for Smrita selecting her. So that way Rakshit and Lekha have had similar upbringing and background. He seems to be the going along kind so far. There is a part where Raanav thinks back to Rakshit telling him about Lekha not doing anything to help, or even offering to help. They have been together now for three years or so, and it will be difficult for Rakshit to get her to change now, if he has gone along all this while.

Most couples that display such explicit affection, I often feel it is a power trip for these women. They just love having that control over their spouse. In my experience of living in this country for so many years, I have seen less than 3 men do it, but have noticed 100s of women do it

I chalked it up to American women waiting so long, begging praying and wishing and groveling for a marriage proposal that when they finally get it, and are engaged and/or finally get married such women do not know how to contain their joy and they start overdoing it

In the last 10 years of all the Instagram accounts of famous and random people that I have stalked😆 I have noticed women do it to appear "cool"🤢 and phoren like

Last weekend I was stalking a TV starlet account, Smriti? Shruti Khanna? she has had a baby girl 6 months ago, she had posted a pic of her husband and baby when baby was 6 weeks old

I'm not young and most likely not "with it" as they say😆 So I totally get what you mean.

I guess these men are willing to be lead by 😆

We have taken aping the west to ridiculous levels, and sadly its not the good things. And these days its more of performing on social media than coming out of any genuine feelings.

I read one meme recently and it said "I wish my real life was as exciting as my Facebook or Instagram life"

Says a lot about what is really happening in one's life and what they project it to the outside.

Do Rakshit and Lekha have the same lovey-dovey life in private like they show it in public?

It's like the only validation that counts is the one where you are lauded as being better than everyone else. The quality of being good in itself has almost ceased to matter. Bhaad mein jaaye adjectives bas focus on the comparative and superlatives wonly 😆

Absolutely true what you all wrote, Nisha and others, none of the husband's of my friends and acquaintances post much on social media ( all I use is FB very rarely and whatsapp😔 ) but the wives are another matter all together, from mushy declarations to posting pics and posting whatsapp status has become the norm. I always ask does this mean that we don't love our husband's or family😆 this has become more worse during this covid period.

Just like Raanav and Vivekaa think that Rakshit and Lekha have great relationship we sometimes fall into the trap of thinking whether we should also celebrate each and everything.

I loved all the updates, hope these two muddle through their relationship and come out strong their love for each other helping them to overcome whatever life throws at them.
