Really! The one and only sure thing they signed up for was and is sex. But for him, the tag of divorcee could easily end up with Viveka too.... not that , that tag is criminal any which way ......for there are reasons only the couple will be privy to ... and there will always be mouths chattering and making empty noises.

it's ok to trip , fall and try getting up when blindfolded in love but what does one say of Viveka who is taking a SAW to a branch she's sitting on with eyes fully open?

BTW looking fwd to watching Ray. Netflix anthology coming up next week, based on Satyajit Ray's short stories . All good actors I like as well. Should be good I hope

Naina and nobility don't go together . Ha Ha. Nobility is over rated in todays's world . Nobility in character, mind, birth and rank and riches ... and to have it all together? Distant dream?? One can still aim for the riches if not the nobility 😆 .

Akash hadn’t even turned the corner there was a call from the house that Anu had fallen near the balcony as she was carrying damp clothes out to dry

In a dizzy spell

Dadu and Papa and the twins rushed home

“I told her she doesn’t need to carry everything to her balcony DADD” Karu scowled

“Pehle to yeh aap log DAD DAD kehna band karo, Papa kyon nahi kehte bhai?”

He was really irritated

“Chalo hamey keh lo aap DAD” Dadu chuckled

Karu giggled

“Bauji aap please chup ho jaayen”

“Shaant ho ja beta abhi toone ghanta aur car chalana hai”

“Karo phone Ma ko” he yelled looking thru the rear view mirror

“Da.. Papa can I tell Mrs Jaiswal across the hall? Jo 1014 mein hain?”

“Nahi Seema Aunty aur Himani aunty ko call karo aap”

“Ma daategi”

“Ma ki aisi ki taisi” Akash parked too close, and the guy in the front honked loudly

“Oh sorry sorry”

“Papa main chala loon?”

“NAHI” he shouted

“Umm… chalo” he hit the hazard and got out swiftly, Diya took the spot and slowly gassed it up

Akash called Anu again

Dadi called

“Kya hua?”

“Kuch nahi” he was irritated

“Karu ne Harshu ko phone pe likha?”

“Kuch nahi Ma aap log baitho Varsha ke ma baap ke paas”

“HUA kya betaaa?”

“Kuch nahi” he hung up and called Anu

Naina had returned home and found the help crying.

Naina helped her mother up and lay her down in bed and called her Doc

“Doctor rehne do Naina” Anu sat up drank up 3 glasses of water and leaned back smiling

“I forgot to refill my BP meds, Papa ke aane se pehle jaakar le aao” she whispered secretively

“MAAA how could you” Naina sobbed hugging her

“Arey pagal ho gayi ho… nothing’s wrong beta”

“I am sorry if u are punishing me”

“Jee haan wohi kaam baaqi reh gaya ab” she hugged Naina fondly

“Ma doctor will be here in 30 minutes”

“KYON beta she will run a bunch of tests”

“SO WHAT”

“Achhaa jao chai bana lo raje”

Anu got up and cleaned out her forehead gash when her head struck the door, wiped the door frame off with a wet towel, sifted through her purse for her emergency travel meds emptied her purse, looked through her cabin bag and felt another dizzying spell

Sat down gingerly and breathed deep

She felt a bit OK

Naina brought her tea and sifted through her cabin bag as if she knew what Anu was doing and found the strip of pills

Handed her one of each and sat by Anu on the couching lining the wall across from the bed

Weather was really nice for February, cloudy stormy and breezy

“Don’t wash everyone’s clothes Ma” Naina begged

“To kya karoon, jaldi aa gayi mai aaj office se, Bua ke ghar gayi nahi, Anil Chachu Garima aa jaayenge raat ko unke kapde hongey dhone ko”

“Why do we have to host them all the time?”

“Because your Papa is a kind human being”

“Bua has literally TEN bedrooms dude”

“I know”

“I am not going to my designers collective”

“Maaroongi tumhe” Anu smacked her

She felt much better the second half of the hour

The Doc visited and as expected recommended tests and increased strength of meds

Papa returned with Dadu and the twins

Everyone tried to cheer up Ma

Her BP was a problem, she worked hard and did not rest much. Dadi didn’t help her condition either

They did pizza take out Naina made her favorite mixed rice and raita

No one texted Viveka from the Mathur home

Bua did though…. Exactly 72 hours later later, around midnight London time

She woke Raanav up, Cleo was up she climbed on the bed and started nuzzling Viveka

“yaay” “Its morning? “Can we go out?”

He crinkled his eyes and sat up confused

“Are you OK?”

“Ma… fainted” she wept

“Oh no” he was alert

“Main jaaoon India?”

“Right now?”

“Umm.. phir kab?”

“We… umm…” he leaned back and rubbed his eyes

“Just call me a cab”

“Will u let me THINK?” he growled

“I don’t want u to I can go”

“U are not a prisoner here Viveka Mathur

He jumped out of bed grabbed his keys

Cleao started barking loudly

“Sshhhhh”

Four hours later she was on a plane

She turned to him after checking in at the private terminal

“Call me?”

She ran over and hugged him

“Thank u thank u” “I”

“Don’t”

“How did u know I was going to pay u back?”

“Just like I did that you were actually going to leave London” he hugged her politely

“I am sorry” she mumbled

“The room is not done yet…”

“I will just go to Rohini” she said

He watched her walk away

He watched her walk away. This line made me feel sad. Wish he had accompanied her.

Very sad update

Viveka seriously needs to take her relationship serious. I totally understand about her Mom but it was that serious. She fainted due to BP. Which is normal. She didn’t have to leave London. I wonder when Viveka is going get it. Something major needs to happen.

I don't understand why Viveka has to errand for her own house!!! There are ppl to take care! It's very disheartening to read that she cut her vacation short . There was no emergency. It could have been told when things would get breezy...not at all right.

Anu seriously needs to hire someone to do the chores at home. People have to make their lives easier and not the other way round.

Now I guess Viveka will end up doing all the chores including cooking. Instead of focusing their talents on constructive work, these people do cooking, cleaning and washing all the time.
